Yet another great and informative video from the Grey Gamer! Thanks for this bruv. Glad to see there’s a company out there taking on this dreaded stick drift issue that has plagued many of my controllers as well in the past. Looking forward to your follow up reviews. Keep up the great work as usual!
Finally. An in depth video with xbox user! Thank you lord! Update: It's been 7 months since I've had my Gulikit KK2P controller and the adapter I've used before I knew about this one was the Brook Wingman XB2. It worked for a good 7 months until everything just shut down on me. The firmwares were updated, the controller was charged, so my guess is that the adapter probably is outdated to where I'll have to use the signature gulikit adapter. Which in all honesty, is not a problem ❤. The controller would switch between the different pairing inputs then just shut off my controller. Is the controller the issue? Is the Wingman adapter the issue? I have no idea. So I'll buy the signature gulikit adapter and I'll test it.
So if i have stick drift the adapter is essentially useless, then i have to buy a new xbox controller with no stick drift, so that I can use my guilikit controller with the adapter that i bought so i didn't have to worry about stick drift. 🤦♂️
The internal only battery is probably my biggest criticism of my initial impression of the King Kong 2 Pro. I would've liked a similar solution to the 8bitdo Pro 2 where they provide a rechargeable battery, but also allow you to install a couple of AAs when that battery is no longer good.
So what would happen if you turn on the xbox, keep the adapter plugged in without an official controller connected to it and then you try to pair the controller? Would it work that way?
I'm wondering since your original xbox controller has to be connected at all times...what if that controller has bad stick drift? Since it's connected, wouldn't it stick drift even if your using gulikit?
@@jacem.8776Thanks for all the information, but I just didn't understand the part when you say: "don't order the wireless one", is there a non wireless version of the adapter? I understand it requires the original Xbox controller connected through usb all the time but the kingkong controller can only connect wirelessly to the adapter.
if the wired controller that your “piggybacking“ has stick drift, then the stick drift Will be noticeable. Think of the wired controller as the “primary “controller and the gullikit as a “Co-pilot“ controller. I hope I am explaining this well enough, but the two controllers sort of work in tandem
Have you tried connecting an xbox controller to nintendo switch using the adapter? I tried mine and the button mapping just messed up and I don't know how to proceed
I'm sorry I had to come back and share this. I un plug the controller out the front and it was working without it being plugged in. 😳 I never did a update to the controller or the adapter that you can buy for it, because I have a MacBook pro m1 that I don't run Windows on or have an emulation system for Windows yet. And it never disconnected not once. Maybe it memorized it after I took the battery out of the original Xbox controller figuring it won't go asleep and then I unplugged it hooking a USB hard drive in it for a short period of time trying to hook up a bing camera hard drive adapter and then unplugged it and accidentally touched my controller and it was still working and I switch games and it was still working and never disconnected Just like when I was playing the controller with the battery taken out. Maybe it had to learn it after a while I don't know. But I know it's all TH-camrs said the controller must be plugged in
NO more drift, lots more latency. If you got a fix for 13ms latency without the dongle, and worse with it on switch or PC. I'd love to know about it. I have the latest firmware installed and did the calibration after installation. It still won't poll at 125hz. I got it to happen once when it was wired to my PC. WIth the dongle, forgettaboutit. It's not noticeable unless you play something like smash ultimate and realize you can't get consistent sprints, which is bc of latency.
Can you make a review of the GameSir T4 Kaleid ? I think is the cheapest Hall Effect controller ($40), is wired but have some awesome functions, it also has paddles.
it doesn’t disconnect, but it goes to sleep fairly quickly. Like, maybe five minutes of inactivity. it re-syncs when you press the “home“ button on the controller, but I find that I need to press that button several times before it re-syncs. I also find that every time I turn off my Xbox, I need to press that button a few times for it to sync again. On rare occasions, I need to do a full sync between the adaptor and the controller
So, I guess I need an official Xbox controller for this to work? Because I have a Turtle Beach controller that the adapter isn't working with. There's power going through the cable to the Gulikit when I hook it up, and the same with the Turtle Beach controller when I connect the cable directly to my Xbox without the Goku adapter. But when I actually use it with the adapter, nada.
@@BordadoIsmael Not with this one. The GameSir G7 SE controller is made specifically for Xbox and has Hall Effects sticks and triggers. Downside is the buttons weren't a priority when they made it. So get the GameSir with a warranty. Sounds like the best bet for stick drift immune Xbox controllers.
Anyone has the problem of the button R activating by itself. It's not even sticking and it's like I'm pressing it. 😢 I got it a few days ago and itself so annoying. I tried to reset, sometime works sometime doesn't.😢
on mine the a and b buttons were squeaking, i had to disassemble the whole controller open the button modules and lubricate inside. on mine the rb and lb buttons are fine, try to disassemble and check the microswitch, if there is something that could be blocking it and keeping it constantly activated. if you are talking about the right trigger then it may be more complicated to solve because it could be a problem in the hall sensor. overall the controller is very good, but it is noticeable that the quality control in manufacturing leaves a lot to be desired.
The main feature that’s missing is the quick capture for screenshots and videos. I think that feature works if you use this controller on a Nintendo switch (don’t quote me on that), but the button mapping does not work on the Xbox
Alps sticks are cheap garbage, intentionally-so. Sony controllers use the same thumbsticks and have the same problem. Sony and MS have settled class action lawsuits regarding this known failure they don't fix so as to get that nice accessory purchase revenue stream from gamers having to buy replacement controllers because of cheap potentiometers. They can go hall effect sensor-based gimbals, but that would take away from that accessory revenue stream as... they don't wear out like the resistive carbon tracks that a metal wiper rides against do inside the intentionally insufficient stick axis potentiometers.
yeah, and the irony is that the Xbox controller uses hall effect in the analog triggers! Why they wouldn’t spend an extra few cents to apply the same tech in the thumb sticks is beyond me. Oh yeah, I know why… Then they can’t so due for another $60 per controller!
@@graygamer3242It would a lot more than a few cents. Keep in mind that hall affect joysticks are patented and sony, microsoft and nintendo have no rights to them.
you totally missed the point. ppl don't want to spend $200 on "elite" controllers that develop stick drift in 6 months. Would rather have a controller that lasts longer.
@@mrxcs Dude... I was the former world record holder for demolitions on Rocket League but quit 2 years ago. I didnt want to play anymore because I was so sick and tired of the stickdrift! Today I got the Gamesir and dude! I am SO fucking happy, havent played this good in over 2 years! I might grind the game and reclaim my title again, I ve been waiting for this controller for SO long! Thanks SOOOOOOO much! Its the BEST controller I ve ever had!

I bought one after seen this video.

does the pc02 adapter work on xbox series x for my kk2 controller

So the original controller is read as P1 and the kingkong controller is P2? Or not?

Hey I was wondering if there was a way to use headphones with the controller (preferably 3.5 mm Jack), thanks in advance
This Gulikit controller doesn't have 3.5 mm jack.

Hi what they were saying is Xbox console...
If you are using MacBook u can just content it with Bluetooth

so you can’t unplug the controller after connecting the gulikit controller?
Mine gulikit kingkong pro 2 + dongle gulikit goku randomly disconnected with PS4 but working fine with PC
Can you test gulikit gyro using phone? Thank you
I'm hearing some complaints about it always disconnecting and is this true? Have you experienced that?
Mines does but only on console it disconnects every 8 min or so. PC is stable.
Mine on the switch from time to time it starts to active R by itself. It so annoying and I got it just a few days ago. 😢

Headphones not work when controller connects 😢
The gyro is working?
Only for aiming purpose, cant use in racing game like Grand Turismo

Amazon or there website gulikit

And to think this controller have analog hall senser and the xbox elite not....
That's actually something the Elite controllers should've had...
So I can't play a two player game with this adapter. Now I have to buy another xbox controller to play 2 player games like fifa.

Exatamente e se já não bastasse isso os controles de elite deles que custam bem mais caro vem com os mesmos problemas
