If you like color changes, I think you would love Birmingham Pen Co. Armadillo! Is it grey? Is it pink? Is it beige? Does it have a hint of green? Yes... It is all of those! I've even noticed it coming out differently from different pens, especially vintage pens! I recently got Sabimodori & I'm definitely here for it! But by & large, Birmingham Pen Co inks have had some wonderful surprises.
I’m so impressed by what I’ve seen from BPC. Armadillo looks gorgeous! It reminds me of Diamine Ghost from the 2022 Inkvent Calendar. My dilemma is that I can never decide what I want from BPC since I want them all - and that’s just not a feasible option 😆
This was a huge help to me, I have been setting up to swatch my inks for the first time. I love many of your colours too. Also really like how you show them on different paper & using different tools to apply them. Very good video 😁 My favourite colours off the top of my head - lichen & pecan.
This was awesome! So much fun. Two inks that are similar to Kitsune Biyori: Kyo-iro 01 Stone Road of Gion (a drier ink) and my fave, BPC Weathered Papyrus. So many beautiful colors. I love PP Pecan too, and one of my fave PP inks is Bayou Nightfall, a grey-green-blue. I love the murky colors the best, but sometimes I just need some Diamine Jingleberry. 🤘🏼😸🧡🖋
I loved this! So many inks I love here. And I have been wanting to try Rikyucha, and this convinced me. Garden District Azalea is one of my FAVORITE colors, but I'll admit I have yet to find its perfect pen match. (Japanese Fines? No.) It works well in my TWSBI Go, but I can't stand to put my prettiest ink in my ugliest pen.😅
Haha! I had to laugh out loud at your words, because I know exactly what you mean about the TWSBI GO. They work so well, but they put a damper on such a lovely sensory experience. I gave away my two GOs a few months ago because I didn’t like looking at them, but they were reliable, and I really loved how they were so convenient to clean.
Omg I'm in LOVE with these brownsssssss!!!! Edit: I love ALLL of these colors ❤ I really wanted to love Kitsune Biyori, but when I put it in a pen (F nib), it's so light, I can't even read anything I write ㅠㅠ
Almost an hour of swatching glee and goodness 😻 and I definitely resonate with your color preferences! Love your videos.
Yay! Thank you!
I enjoyed all of the swatches! It’s fun to see how the inks react to the different papers. Thank you for taking the time to do all these swatches
You are so welcome! I’m glad it was helpful for you.

Absolutely love your excitement 😄😄😄 You're definitely my favorite pen & ink channel now!
You're the best!

Glad it was helpful! Lichen and Pecan are great choices. 😍
I have a bunch on my ‘to try’ list and that River of Fire is on the buy list! Thanks for a fun and informative video!
You are so welcome!
This was fun to watch - you really seemed to be enjoying yourself 😍💜
Oh, the colors were lovely, and it was so fun!

Those sound like lovely colors! And yes, I enjoy my occasional bouts of punchy color, too!
I truly enjoyed this video.
I'm so glad! Thanks for watching ☺️
love this video. I love swatch comparisons, they let me know if I need an ink or have something very similar. TFS.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I currently have SBRE Brown in a Magna Carta Mag 600.l I love it.
That sounds like a lovely combination! Thanks for sharing.

Ohhhh thanks for letting me know. I’ll try putting it in a wet and/or broader nib!
