    I struggled with those two bottom nuts all day. I never thought of using offset box end wrenches. I had to order a metric set, but they should be here this afternoon. You earned a subscriber today. Thank you.

    Great video Luke, discussing necessary tools vs ones that won’t work as good is what makes your tutorials the best!

    I had the hardest time removing that bottom left side nut years ago. You made it look really easy, goes to show how easy the job can be with the right tool. Now I know what I need. Thank you Luke!

    Great video. Glad you're back! Happy New Year! I appreciate the straight forward instructions and views on how to get to each individual bolt / nut. Thanks for your hard work. Now I know where my starter is too! LOL.

    The offset box end wrench worked well for the bolt behind the CV join but I needed way more leverage. I ended up hooking a chain on one of the box end loops and setting it up so I could pull on it real hard lol. Got it!

    Thank you Jesus I really was trying to figure out where the longer bolt on the bell housing was going.

    none of my bolts would come off with offset wrenches but I was able to use a 3/8 breaker bar from HF on most of them, even the driver side stubborn nut which was the only way I could get that off after days of trying with pb blaster and various sockets/wrenches. this was still helpful tho.

    Hey Luke - what brand is that offset 12 & 14 mm wrench? - we call them spanners here in Australia- do you know what the offset degree is? - Love your videos

    • @SubaruONLY
      @SubaruONLY  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey buddy. Not sure which one that is since I prob have like three different brands - and they all have slightly different offset angles and lengths. This is actually why I have three brands, cause you always need that one version that’s a little different, lol.

    I have an auto 06 forester. Could you help me figure out what bellhousing bolt goes where?

    • @SubaruONLY
      @SubaruONLY  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha. Been there. The long ones go for your starter. Just make sure they all have about the same length of threads screwing in, and you’ll be good!

    I suspect my center diff on my 07 STI is bad. Clunking noise when lock the wheel while parking. Any idea where to get the best deal to replace? Also trying to confirm part # is correct 38913AA190, its like $2200!
