    If you wanna make a butter sauce version, I'd recommend this!
    On a hot pan put your butter, add as much soy sauce as you want. Let it heat up so you get that smokey flavour. Then I added the pepper flakes, garlic, and vinegar. I liked adding roasted coriander (cilantro) and sesame seeds at the end.
    Your noodles don't really matter, but I found chow mein noodles to have a good springyness to it.
    I like butter sauces better because they don't require really hot oil, but it's all up to you on your flavour profile 🥰🥰

    Is the homemade chili oil separate from the hot oil you poured in, or did you just heat the homemade chili oil? If the hot oil is separate, what kind of oil do you use?

      I think it's separate. And the boiling oil is probably any flavorless oil like canola or vegetable oil or palm oil.

    • @gracedsouza9067
      @gracedsouza9067 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The homemade chili oil is the chunky stuff, the end is just your regular cooking oil heated until it's hot enough to fry.

    • @playgurl4dayear
      @playgurl4dayear 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The hot oil she adds is just a plain oil like canola or vegetable oil.

      Thanks everyone! I really want to use sesame oil, I know the flavor is very intense, but I wonder if it would be good!?

    Does your recipe actually mean 3 tablespoons of black vinegar or is that a typo? I made it a few weeks ago and was shocked that it said 3 tablespoons. I was excited to make this recipe, but had to throw it away because there was just way too much vinegar.

      She makes her own chili oil but it's very easy and simple to do. You should try making your own it's so good and you can add it as a finishing oil to a lot of Asian dishes!
