The great thing about adapting 8 bit Sonic 2 into a 16 bit version, is that you already have 16 bit graphics ready made for most zones. Marble Zone + Mystic Cave = Underground Zone Hill Top = Sky High Zone Emerald Hill = Green Hills Zone Metropolis Zone = Gimmick Mountain Zone Lava Reef act 2 = Scrambled Egg Zone You could even use the floating switch from Death Egg Act 1 for the final boss machine.
