This looks like a great start to recreating the original intended version of Sonic 2. There are some other projects out there with levels that would go great with these.

Aquatic Ruin is now Azure Lake from Sonic 3
The great thing about adapting 8 bit Sonic 2 into a 16 bit version, is that you already have 16 bit graphics ready made for most zones. Marble Zone + Mystic Cave = Underground Zone Hill Top = Sky High Zone Emerald Hill = Green Hills Zone Metropolis Zone = Gimmick Mountain Zone Lava Reef act 2 = Scrambled Egg Zone You could even use the floating switch from Death Egg Act 1 for the final boss machine.

This mod looks great! I do hope tho taht there is a version that calls sand shower dust hill aince that is easily the better name. Also i dont like the mystic cave 2p for hidden palace, unused somg 10 was the hidden palace song its what plays when u try to load hidden palace up in the final version, so i hope they fix that

It's because most of the music belongs to the Masa demo soundtrack and the sonic 2 beta soundtrack.
