This looks so much better then the master system version. Don't get me wrong. I like the master system version as well. But u have done a fantastic job to bring this classic game 2 life

5:30 I know alot of people hated that part in the OG, but I've always found it funny how Eggman (a doctor of 300 IQ btw) literally tried to zoom on Sonic, just for right after destroying his own robot, I know that the original made soo that you die instandly by adding no rings in the actual level, but here, he's doing it like he wanted the fight to end, but considering that he literally saved Sonic few moments before, I wouldn't be surprised if Eggman actually played easy on Sonic that time.. Still no excuse for trying to zoom multiple occasions in theses 8 bit games, AND IT'S NOT EVEN THE FIRST TIME HE'S DONE THAT!! WHEN WILL YOU LEARN, THAT ALL YOUR ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUEN- ok maybe I'm going to far..

That's probably because the guy who was working on "Sonic 2: Save Tails" got most of the assets from the internet, and they clashed heavily.
The assets in this game however were made exclusively for this remake.

Is this built on like a pre-made engine (like flicky 8 engine) or is this a rom hack?
or like a completely new engine.

It's being made with HedgeFusion. Closest thing you're going to have when it comes down to Genesis accurate physics on Clickteam

Yes, you may be right about that, Sonic 2: Rescue Tails is basically the same thing. But Sonic Chaos 16-but is already being made.
