  • Overland AI's OverDrive software stack uses only onboard sensors and compute to model the terrain around the robot, plan a path through the terrain to the goal, and execute fine-grained control maneuvers to achieve the goal. The run being shown here uses no advance maps or GPS breadcrumbs; the course is defined by waypoints and the robot has to find its own way to them. Here, the waypoints are kilometers apart, and the robot has to find its way over rutted landscapes, through forests, and finally along dirt trails to reach the goal.
