RACER Heavy Platform - First Autonomous Runs with OverDrive

This is a 12-ton, 20-foot-long, skid-steer tracked vehicle operating autonomously under the control of Overland AI's OverDrive autonomy stack. The cost map in the upper left is generated in real time using only onboard sensing and compute. Magenta indicates lethal obstacles such as tree trunks, and contour lines show the robot's estimate of ground geometry. The cost map is projected onto satellite imagery for an observer's reference, but the robot is not using any advanced maps or imagery. The waypoints that define the route are shown on the map as blue dots.
