Cross-Country in California

The terrain in the central coast of California has steep hills, ditches, and large oak trees. Overland AI's OverDrive software stack uses only onboard sensors and compute to characterize the traversability of the terrain surrounding the robot. The stack then plans and executes paths to accomplish the mission. On this run, the vehicle opportunistically uses dirt roads at the beginning until the mission specification changes and the robot leaves the road and goes cross-country.
This robot is using no advance maps and no GPS breadcrumbs to complete the mission. The waypoints that define this route are approximately 500 meters apart.
