"We want to make a great game"
And you actually did it
If Ghostbusters Afterlife is a disappointment. We still have this amazing game to look up to
@@retropulse03 honestly I fully agree. Even though this game is probably going to become "soft" Cannon it's still going to be a part of the movie timeline to me.
@@retropulse03 You could just look at is as two different continutity's. (What I'm doing) There's GB1 2 and the game which makes it the film/game trilogy. Then GB 1 2, 3 and anything after as the film series.
I do hope they take some elements from the game though and work it in (Character wise) in Afterlife.
It’s not a disappointment. It’s really great
I come from the future to say...it REALLY isn't!! :D
@@marianoyuba3736 The original Ghostbusters are only in the movie Afterlife for ten minutes tops out of 2 hours, definitely not worth it. The first 2 Ghostbusters movies still rule.
Such a great game. Playing it through at the moment. Had an urge after watching Afterlife the other day. Bless his soul, Mr Ramis died too young.
This Video Game Feels Like A 3RD Film Taken Place 2 Years After The Events Of GhostBusters II.
We all agree and I will give you all hope, I love ghostbusters I love it more than possible I’ve grown up with it, this game makes me feel like a ghostbuster I’ve replayed it like 30 times and I and you all should believe that one day there will be another legendary ghostbusters game maybe as good or (very rarely) on par with this amazing game
If Dan says it's the 3rd movie, then it's the 3rd movie.
Afterlife is Ghostbusters 4. This is Ghostbusters 3.
Legendary game...
The unmatchable beauty of this is that it’s the last time we get to hear Harold Ramos talking about ‘new’ Ghostbusters stuff. As amazing as Afterlife was, it’s a shame what we’ll never get to hear Harold’s thoughts on it
I love this game so much. I played it yesterday and I had so much fun! The story is great, gameplay is fun and the attention to the small details like listening the messages on the answering machine which are hilarious by the way is just awesome! And I got it for free! What a bargain! 😊😊😊
Awesome
Little did they know this was one of my favorite video games if it's time😎
I hope this game is referenced in some way in the new movie.
Bloody loved this game. It really was the 3rd movie we never had.
Some say the game is a love letter to the first two Ghostbusters films. I see it a little differently... It's a damn MARRIAGE PROPOSAL!!
This game is free to download on the Epic Games Store until the end of Halloween 2020. Go pick it up! It’s fantastic!

this is the last epic ghostbusters sequel we've all been waiting for
For Harold
Forget the year 2016! THIS is Ghostbusters! The game is the secret 3rd part and Afterlife is such a great hommage to the 80's and to Harold! :)
I'd listen to Dan Ackroyd explain the composition of oatmeal.
Great game!
Somehow whenever I saw Dan's hair I couldn't stop thinking of pappa john!
LMFAO, the cadet interview is funny
Afterlife Spoiler... Winston has been busy!!! Can't wait for the next movies to come out!
Wouldnt it be so cool if they now did a graphics-remastered 4k version of this? Updated animation + textures and all
This game is in my Steam Playlist and trust me: It is epic!
Ghostbusters (1984)
Ghostbusters II (1989)
Ghostbusters III (1991)(Ghostbusters: The Video Game (2009))
Ghostbusters IV (2021) (Ghostbusters: Afterlife)
Ghostbusters V (2024) (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire).
The Franchise Rulez✊🏻!

Anyone here after seeing Afterlife?
I am still surprised I do not own this game. lol Cannot wait for Ghostbusters: Afterlife next year!
$12 on xbox one
You need to play it. Any true Ghostbusters fan should play it
This is canonically the third film/story. Afterlife is the bookend.
I would be very surprised if this wasn't canon for Afterlife.
it is. the proof is with the Ghostbusters: Afterlife Plasma Series Spengler’s Neutrona Wand has all the upgrades from the game hasbropulse.com/products/ghostbusters-plasma-series-spengler-s-neutrona-wand www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/117481
Reaper World I thought they said the game wasn’t canon. Glad it is.
Well, they said a Ghost sighting hasn't occurred in 30 years.
1991-2021
im sure i recall reading somewhere that the director of Afterlife said this is cannon.
@@rexrabbiteer well just because it wasn’t mentioned doesn’t mean it isn’t canon.
Saw this year's ago theres some prototype footage in this video wich is cool but such a random upload from you
I would love for Ghost corps to remake the game into an actual film using real actors/sets and use deep fake technology to recreate the actors younger faces.
That could definitely work ❤
Is this featurette available in some sort of special edition of this game?
Its available in the extras section of the regular game. Think you can watch it after you complete the game once, but dont quote me on that.
