Yeah, the certificate is a complete lie, you can't actually own the land, don't become a "lord" in any way if you actually did own it, and they don't even prove they donate. I can't believe anyone actually believed it, let alone thought a title of lord was worth anything if it was true.
As a giant RDR fan boy I can never relate to anyone complaining about RDR2s bloated completionist BS. I waited 8 years for the game, I was sad when it was over at the 150 hour mark, you could’ve added 159 more animal species and I would’ve found each one with a shit-eating grin.
The hunting deer mission is actually pretty easy (once/if you realize, that you don't need to whistle for a clean kill - just hit the head or neck (which can easily be done without whistling))
I recommend for those of you that are going to try getting this achievemen, to skip look for the missions that have the easiest requests and start with those, always skip the ones that requiere no damage because it can take a lot of time and always look for a video of gold medal mission if you have any question, those videos usually show you tips and tricks to do missions quicker.
I’ve done this achievement 2 times already, the first time was a big headache but at the second try I did it very fast actually by following the steps I mentioned above 👆🏻
@@tamez_ezequiel RDR2 is one of my favorite games ever and I've done this achievement 3 times over (Xbox 360, PC, and PS5). The first time it seemed nigh impossible, but by my second playthrough I was getting golds on my first run of every mission, and never needed to replay a single mission. Then on my last run I didn't even try to get it, but I did get it a bit later than I did on my PC run. That being said, I have an abnormal love for Red Dead games... I just love playing them; nothing is too difficult, and nothing is too tedious.
it's nice to see someone else's process of earning difficult achievements and completing games, as someone who as of recently has been in a craving to complete some of my most favoured games, it's helpful to also have a sort of guide who has gone through it all already lol
12:25 those random cliff drop offs are brutal. I’ve ruined so many trader wagon sales online trying to cut across fields to save some time, just to superman to my death 2 seconds later.
This achievement tested me so much. The first game had a trophy asking you to get a gold in ONE MISSION, ONE! NOT FUCKING 70! What is worse is that the trophy is called 'Gold Rush' and you get a silver trophy for doing it...
This is why I did as many gold medal runs during my first playthrough of the mission. If you abandon the mission on your first playthrough, you can restart it instantly; you don't have to cancel the mission. Funnily enough, this wasn't the hardest trophy for me when I got the platinum... that belongs to the Zoologist and Skin Deep trophies.
You're the only TH-camr I watch that does these. Everyone else just does the achievements and how they do them. No story, good editing, humour or really much of anything. Good job man and major props cause these seem like such a pain in the ass.
I've tried 2 100% this game for 3yrs and whenever I get to like 95% I always get an itch to restart to play as arthur and just never revist it lmao. But I'm at 98% on an old save rn so not long to go.
Oh god, my sister did a similar achievement for GTA V but gave up after she realized they had to be done in one go without deaths. Props, I’ll consider this done for my sis. EDIT: Sounds like my sister didn’t know you don’t have to do all the objectives in one go. I got this information from her sooooo lol.
Yeah, but the saving grace in GTA V's gold medal achievement is that you don't need to do it all in one go. For example if it had objectives that might contradict, for example "don't get hit in a section" but you gotta do it under a timer, you could take one run kill everyone without caring for your well being for time, then do it again for no damage.

This is my greatest platinum trophy! It definitely tested my patience. The Guarma missions were annoying to get gold. For anyone attempting to 100% Red Dead Redemption 2. Don't give up.. keep pushing through, You got this!
As someone who not only got the 70 gold medals, but was actually bored and dumb enough to get EVERY single mission gold I can honestly say some of them were beyond difficult. Patience of a saint required for sure but glad I achieved something that many others aren’t as insane to try 😂

I really love your format. It's like speedrunning in that it takes a *LOT* of time, effort and practice to achieve a goal and it sometimes makes one want to walk into traffic.
It's funny when I started watching these videos sometimes I'd see a 40 minute one and think damn that's long. Now I'm a big fan and when I see 40 minutes I wish it was an hour.
Throughout my platinum run of this game, I realised I had 2 missable trophies after completing the whole story. Had to restart and go all the way to chapter 6 again... As legendary as the story is, having to restart after just completing it kinda stung.
@@omarmora7595 I didn't donate the required amount of money to the camp before the end of chapter 3 when the gang box disappears. I also missed out on gang side quests which is a missable after certain characters die at chapter 3
I love that this video exists. Almost every level that gave you grief affected myself usually in the exact same ways during my attempt at earning this achievement. Watching your pain is very healing in a way. Easily the hardest platinum achievement I ever earned.
As someone who just finished 100% ing Rdr2 I understand both the pain of doing this and the feeling of freedom as you finish that last mission, for me it was the mission where Dutch kills Cornwall.

11:52 If you play dead around a brown/grizzly bear, it will eat you. They’re scavengers and will not hesitate to eat rotting meat. Best case you’ll be dragged back to its den (Across rocks, through foliage, etc.) and be saved for later (Good luck escaping, you’ll be pretty banged up!). You make yourself look big, to convince it that you aren’t worth the fight. You play dead for a black bear, which will probably just smack you around for a while before leaving, although you can scare them off because they’re much much smaller. And yes, you hit the griddy for legendary bears. Sorry lol I just know a ton about bears
Yeah which is stupid, I’m the player so the character did whatever I did. We didn’t need assassins creed type synchronization and it wasn’t implemented well to begin with.

I swear whether it's achievement hunting or just general gameplay in a difficult scenario, one of the most infuriating patterns I find myself falling into, as well as the creator in this video, is ALMOST overcoming the challenge in my first attempt, only to do two - ten times worse for the next three or four tries after.
Fun Fact: According to the standard calculation for horsepower, horses actually have between 5-10 horsepower, with strong breeds having up to 15. The calculation being how much weight can be pulled over distance: Torque/Force (in pounds) x RPM/Speed (in feet per second)
i finished both the study every animal and skin every animal achievement and they really aren't that bad if you just do them as you progress in the story
I did this and it wasn’t too too bad. The only thing that sucks the most out of doing this achievement is not being able to skip through alot of the dialogue and having to sit through some of the long horse rides…
I just finished this achievement yesterday! It really is a nightmare. The medal system as a whole is absolutely sadistic and unnecessary, and the game would have lost nothing for leaving it out. When I was at like 70%, I had to go on a Twitter rant to let out my rage 😅 I still adore the game so much that even this didn’t ruin it for me, but it was *close*
Great video! This is by far my favorite game of all time. My only flaw is that there isn’t some system in the game that allows you to slow down time and aim with extreme accuracy….
This is pretty late, and probably not too useful at this point but: when using the bow, deadeye auto aims your bow to adjust for drop and lead. You pick where the arrow hits, not having to deal with arrow drop or the slow projectile speed. Headshots with it become really easy when using it.
I just want to say that, this game's gigantic marketing campaign, and just over four years worth of word of mouth, not once I even remotely considered playing it. And yet, this video alone, is what finally convinced me to pick up this game and now I can't seem to put it down.

I can remember getting Seriously and Seriously 2.0 in GoW.. Truly an amazing quest in my early teens. The best part was being able to unlock the rare GT pic. I still rock it to this day

I thought it was hard with the time limits. I hit my head against the wall over and over with the bear-mission. Until I realized that I could skip the cinematics. They actually count towards the time limits, so skipping them saves a lot of time.
Of all the achievements in your videos, this is probably the only one I got. I love this game so much I actually enjoyed going back through a lot of the story missions even if it resets Arthur to his standard outfit
I got like maybe 3 gold's in my entire playthrough, I didnt really think about it, and I didn't ever redo a mission the only one i remember getting gold was the bar mission with Lenny

Before patch 1.15 in December 2019 this was a horrible trophy, as you only got some default weapons and had low stats when you replayed missions. With the patch, your stats were set at a reasonable level for the distance through the game the mission occurs and your inventory carries over as well.
One of the cruelest things about it is you can't see if you've completed or failed an objective until after you finish the whole mission. Another critical flaw is the unskippable ride-n'-chat sequences (something I didn't care for in general even in the first game). I just unlocked this today, 4 years after starting it XD.

12:55 IIRC the key to #ExitPursuedByABruisedEgo is to shoot a rabbit just as Hosea is about to mention it, and choose to lay bear bait later. BTW, don't sell the Shire - it's the biggest and bravest horse in the game (temperament is based firstly by height, then fatness - therefore, the race woman's Thoroughbred you can steal from her after the race is the bravest fast/fit horse, as it's maximum height, but not as fat as the Shire).
The Shire from that mission is unique only in its coat, as it is the only Raven Black Shire in the game. However, the other two Shire coats in the game (Dark Bay & Light Grey) are statistically identical. So, feel free to sell the Black Shire horse if you wish. As for its size, yes, the Shire is the largest horse in the game. However, a few other breeds are only a bit smaller and offer much better stats, such as as the Turkoman and Hungarian Halfbred. As for bravery, bravery isn't an actual stat measured in game, if I recall correctly. However, through gameplay you may notice horses such as Arabians spook more easily. This is largely negated once reaching max bonding with a horse and, thus, bravery isn't a very important "stat" to measure and rate horses by. TLDR; the Shire from that mission isn't very special besides its unique coat, however if you want a Big, Black Horse for your playthrough, it is likely your best option.
Gotta say, 100% the game and getting the platinum probably took a couple of years of my life expectancy "Silver? Excuse me?" Pretty much sums it up perfectly 💀

Best case you’ll be dragged back to its den (Across rocks, through foliage, etc.) and be saved for later (Good luck escaping, you’ll be pretty banged up!). You make yourself look big, to convince it that you aren’t worth the fight. You play dead for a black bear, which will probably just smack you around for a while before leaving, although you can scare them off because they’re much much smaller. And yes, you hit the griddy for legendary bears.

I look at the gold medals in the missions as the way characters actually preformed in the actual event.
Yeah which is stupid, I’m the player so the character did whatever I did.
We didn’t need assassins creed type synchronization and it wasn’t implemented well to begin with.

One of the greatest Sins this game did was make enemies have bottomless clip. Who's six shooter doesn't have six shots? Every NPC.

I swear whether it's achievement hunting or just general gameplay in a difficult scenario, one of the most infuriating patterns I find myself falling into, as well as the creator in this video, is ALMOST overcoming the challenge in my first attempt, only to do two - ten times worse for the next three or four tries after.
Fun Fact: According to the standard calculation for horsepower, horses actually have between 5-10 horsepower, with strong breeds having up to 15. The calculation being how much weight can be pulled over distance: Torque/Force (in pounds) x RPM/Speed (in feet per second)

I did 100% this game but getting gold medals isnt part of that. Collecting all those birds is very tedious though.
100% is different to this. This is all a separate achievement which contributes towards the Platinum

after just watching the intro, this achievement was BRUTAL but imo getting all animals studied and everything was even more of a pain
never even bothered attempting collecting all those damn cig cards
@@kaweenis you can just get a lot of premium cigs and smoke a lot, you'll get a card for each pack
i finished both the study every animal and skin every animal achievement and they really aren't that bad if you just do them as you progress in the story
I did this and it wasn’t too too bad. The only thing that sucks the most out of doing this achievement is not being able to skip through alot of the dialogue and having to sit through some of the long horse rides…
I just finished this achievement yesterday! It really is a nightmare. The medal system as a whole is absolutely sadistic and unnecessary, and the game would have lost nothing for leaving it out. When I was at like 70%, I had to go on a Twitter rant to let out my rage 😅
I still adore the game so much that even this didn’t ruin it for me, but it was *close*

This is pretty late, and probably not too useful at this point but: when using the bow, deadeye auto aims your bow to adjust for drop and lead. You pick where the arrow hits, not having to deal with arrow drop or the slow projectile speed. Headshots with it become really easy when using it.
I just want to say that, this game's gigantic marketing campaign, and just over four years worth of word of mouth, not once I even remotely considered playing it. And yet, this video alone, is what finally convinced me to pick up this game and now I can't seem to put it down.

Hey Snam, great video making me now want to go back and do this achievement. I wanna mention though established titles has been discovered as a scam. Several youtubers including SomeOrdinaryGamer have taken them out of their vids and apologized. You should look into some of the stuff posted about them recently. I can remember getting Seriously and Seriously 2.0 in GoW.. Truly an amazing quest in my early teens. The best part was being able to unlock the rare GT pic. I still rock it to this day
This achievement was a nightmare but I enjoyed doing this over getting 100% in the game.
Personally i don't care about achiements, but it is fun to watch your videos and the pain and agony you go through to get them!

I thought it was hard with the time limits. I hit my head against the wall over and over with the bear-mission.
Until I realized that I could skip the cinematics. They actually count towards the time limits, so skipping them saves a lot of time.
Of all the achievements in your videos, this is probably the only one I got. I love this game so much I actually enjoyed going back through a lot of the story missions even if it resets Arthur to his standard outfit
What’s crazy is a lot of the mission he struggled with I finished easily and the ones he didn’t struggle with I had lots of problems with

I got like maybe 3 gold's in my entire playthrough, I didnt really think about it, and I didn't ever redo a mission the only one i remember getting gold was the bar mission with Lenny
I remember thinking I did well on a mission when in reality I just sucked. Gold medals on some of those are a beast, I salute you for overcoming them.

slowly but surely i am grinding my way to platinum for this game as it’s my fav, this trophy grind is the least i’m looking forward too 😭
Before patch 1.15 in December 2019 this was a horrible trophy, as you only got some default weapons and had low stats when you replayed missions. With the patch, your stats were set at a reasonable level for the distance through the game the mission occurs and your inventory carries over as well.
One of the cruelest things about it is you can't see if you've completed or failed an objective until after you finish the whole mission. Another critical flaw is the unskippable ride-n'-chat sequences (something I didn't care for in general even in the first game). I just unlocked this today, 4 years after starting it XD.

12:55 IIRC the key to #ExitPursuedByABruisedEgo is to shoot a rabbit just as Hosea is about to mention it, and choose to lay bear bait later. BTW, don't sell the Shire - it's the biggest and bravest horse in the game (temperament is based firstly by height, then fatness - therefore, the race woman's Thoroughbred you can steal from her after the race is the bravest fast/fit horse, as it's maximum height, but not as fat as the Shire).
The Shire from that mission is unique only in its coat, as it is the only Raven Black Shire in the game. However, the other two Shire coats in the game (Dark Bay & Light Grey) are statistically identical. So, feel free to sell the Black Shire horse if you wish.
As for its size, yes, the Shire is the largest horse in the game. However, a few other breeds are only a bit smaller and offer much better stats, such as as the Turkoman and Hungarian Halfbred.
As for bravery, bravery isn't an actual stat measured in game, if I recall correctly. However, through gameplay you may notice horses such as Arabians spook more easily. This is largely negated once reaching max bonding with a horse and, thus, bravery isn't a very important "stat" to measure and rate horses by.
TLDR; the Shire from that mission isn't very special besides its unique coat, however if you want a Big, Black Horse for your playthrough, it is likely your best option.
