This game is allot better than I was led to believe. Got it on ps5 for 40 dollars after the new game plus and I don't see the problems people are complaining about. Ya, the melee isn't exactly the best, but the game isn't that hard, looks amazing, and it is fun gripping enemies and cracking them with the baton. Shotgun rocks too. Solid 8

I actually like the TH-cam is trying to be more family friendly. Swearing and violence should be age restricted. However, TH-cam is a shitshow and is punishing their users instead of simply implementing an easy age restriction.
@@BreadCatMarcus Inventory implies stuff to grab, crates imply stuff inside the crates to put in the inventory. And gamer instinct is 1:1 with a loot goblin, so making enemies pop out of crates we're obviously gonna loot without being able to counter them is just downright mean.

That and items selling for 100 to 250 credit, enemies dropping 10 to 30 credit, maybe. Then upgrades costing thousands, just makes for awful game design. It feels like it was never play tested.
@@Yordsbee I watched someone's No Damage Run of this and it was interesting how one way to get money quick is to sell the items you need to survive. So in ✨theory✨ the better players will be able to perform better by not getting hit. But if enemy drops don't scale as you progress, now we have a problem on our hands (I don't remember if enemy money drops scale or not in this game lol)

Dead Space remake really showed how rough Callisto is. I played it and thought it was ok but seemed very unfinished. It had so much potential. Do we see Dead Space soon?? 😉

Callisto was the easiest platinum trophy I’ve ever gotten, infact, it’s the only platinum I’ve ever gotten lol. Fun game, glad to see you did a video on it, hope you liked it!
With NG+, it's even easier. Still not even close to the easiest. The easiest I personally got was swordsman VR in less than 5 hours. Spiderman PS4 was also easy but time wasting. Problem with many plats is that you gotta waste a lot of time. Kinda like RE4 remake: you gotta finish the game quite a few times, at least 3-4 and you gotta rush cuz S+ on professional is a new game in less than 5 hours 30 minutes and no more than 15 saves. Another pretty easy plat was evil west. NG+ with all upgrades it's a joke. Great game though.
@@kato093 I played through it again recently and after all the patches I think combat wise it’s in a good place, it’s not quite as brutal as 1.0 was but it’s no longer as brain dead easy as it was after they patched the AI to be not as aggressive. It’s at a decent middle ground between them. I love this game, ran through it 9 times and I plan to go back for more, this game didn’t deserve the hate imo. And RE4R slapped, it was so good despite a few minor gripes, I’m really glad capcom didn’t drop the ball with it
@@Sev3617 i have none with RE4remake. Well besides the stupid girl boss moments for Ashley as she out if nowhere starts having fun in between getting possessed and getting kidnapped. As for Callisto, yeah...i preferred the 1.0 combat, when you couldn't heal mid combat and enemies attacked at the same time. It was more fun. It was as good as dead space 1. Even though I had more fun in Callisto because of melee the characters/overall designs being cooler. Don't know about the remake of dead space, played only 1 hour because PSVR took all my time.
@@kato093 I miss some of the cut content, like the U3 fight (although I think it’s likely being repurposed for separate ways, I hope that’s true) The gondola that you ride on with Ashley before the original Mendez fight, and the novisador jail section where they’re originally revealed in the original. Also the tentacle wolves just look… stupid in the remake. Really not a fan of their design which really hurts as they were one of my favorite enemies in the original. And I feel that the regenerator section in the original was overall stronger although there are things I do like about it more in the remake. Main issue being that there aren’t any regenerators roaming through the halls when you first run into them which sucks, it was cool entering a room and hearing them before you saw them, then turning the corner and seeing one come right at you. That’s not really in the remake aside from the very first encounter.
It’s honestly so sad how soft TH-cam has gotten especially when you remember that TH-cam Kids exists. Edit: Got to love how they add a hardcore game mode less then 24 hours of you posting this. Which is REALLY HARD BTW. Losing my mind. The update also stole 8 hours of my life on maximum security as well by removing my save progress. I hate this game. 😡 Edit 2: I just beat the hardcore run!!!!! Was it worth the hundreds of deaths and extra 10 hours of my life? No. I just typed all this out and I’m sorry it’s so long. It’s basically a summary of my play through and some tips for you. Anyways moving on. You will run out of ammo for the two heads, meaning you will most likely have to reload a save to take back some of the upgrades that you just invested into. Stun baton, riot gun, and assault rifle (mostly for two heads and Ferris) carried me through this run. Don’t craft any pistols because made the mistake of thinking that since the tactical pistol drops 10 bullets in maximum security, that it would drop 5-6 bullets each time so you wouldn’t run out of ammo in it. I was wrong. With ammo dropped at 2-3 bullets per, it was only good for the explosive crawling things. The shotgun sidearm, I don’t know how worth it was. I didn’t feel like spending the credits for the magazine and damage needed for it. I had one upgrade in my grip for maximum energy. That’s it. However you could probably put another into it. I found myself running out of energy while holding someone and wasting ammo. I don’t recommend velocity or recharge. Recharge is unnecessary because you will have your grip back before every fight and velocity is better but not worth the credits for it in my opinion. You will normally have a much of fan and insta-kill traps you can throw enemies into. Last thing I’m going to say is that the assault rifle is a 3 round burst but has a 20 bullet magazine base and a 25 bullet magazine extended. Which are both not multiples of three. Why one of them couldn’t of been thirty I don’t know.

This is just my theory but I actually didn't get attacked by too many monsters in chests and I think it might be that the chance of getting one of the grubs in a chest is based on how full your inventory is already. Most of my attacks ended up happening closer to end game when I was almost full stocked up on health and ammo but opened the chest anyway.
Nah their placements are preset, the grubs are always in the very first and the last two chests you can find, all the chests in between are safe to open

The talk about being family friendly reminds me of a video I watched last year about turning Doom 2016 into a family friendly game and it was just the beginning where your laying on the stone sarcophagus and they put a 240p image of mickey mouse over the violence before the video ended

I read, but I'm not sure, that to get the achievement with the difficulties you can change the difficulty to the hardest during the final boss and that it counts.

Perfect dodging is done by flicking the analog as the enemy raises their arm to attack. Holding or spamming dodge doesn't work. You have to essentially tap the analog.
I just started my new game plus run of the Dead Space Remake last night, which I decided was going to be the run I use just the Plasma Cutter. In my anxiety to conserve ammo, I've taken to just stasising and mainly punching everyone to death and it's been absolutely hilarious. It's my new favorite way to play.

Very excited for the Dead Space video my man. And Gears of War, which is the first Xbox first party game on this channel.
CP didn't measure up to DS, but I'm hopeful for the studio. Overall it was a solid game really, but as you said, a bit pricey for what I got out of it. Admittedly being a Resi, Silent Hill and DS vet makes horror games a tad easier than it should be. I let my younger brother play DS Remake and CP and he didn't do too well 🤣 I had more fun watching him play CP than I did playing it myself. Fun video man, keep up the good work.

Yeah, way easier than I was expecting too. Had some flaws but overall I had a good time! Congrats on the Plat btw!

Perfect dodging is done by flicking the analog as the enemy raises their arm to attack. Holding or spamming dodge doesn't work. You have to essentially tap the analog.
I just started my new game plus run of the Dead Space Remake last night, which I decided was going to be the run I use just the Plasma Cutter. In my anxiety to conserve ammo, I've taken to just stasising and mainly punching everyone to death and it's been absolutely hilarious. It's my new favorite way to play.

CP didn't measure up to DS, but I'm hopeful for the studio. Overall it was a solid game really, but as you said, a bit pricey for what I got out of it. Admittedly being a Resi, Silent Hill and DS vet makes horror games a tad easier than it should be. I let my younger brother play DS Remake and CP and he didn't do too well 🤣 I had more fun watching him play CP than I did playing it myself. Fun video man, keep up the good work.
