I hope there comes a Option to adjust the gas/brake, because my throttle on every sim only goes(/reaches) to maximum 98%😔 On other Sims you can optimice this to reach full(100%) throttle without pulling gasoline-pedal full through. Only on AC and now on ACC too you can change this🤪 I hope there comes patch to change this& to change camerasettings🤗 (sorry for my bad english, i hope you understood what i mean🤭)
Me too lol, I just refunded it and I might get it on my pc when I upgrade it instead. I’ll be upgrading my wheel and pedals soon enough too after saving for a long time so it might work, but if I’m being honest there is no point playing it with Logitech g920, it just handles horribly with no real fix working
Hey. I've reduced the Dynamic Damping down to 0 but the wheel is still horribly light. No feel at all while driving. Can't detect understeer or anything but can feel collisions properly. Any idea why this might be the case and what I can do to fix this?
Hey I've just commented I have the exact same problems G29 on PS4. I have input Aris settings at gain 100% as soon as I turn the wheel even slightly say at curva granda at Monza it immediately jolts, skips kinda thing and goes very very light! If I turn gain to 85% or below the light feeling goes but so does all road and tyre detail, the wheel feels heavier but it feels dead no detail!. I swear there is a major ffb bug or it's just broken. I've driven a few race cars around brands hatch and for sure that is not realistic!. Are you having the same issues? I've tried the same turning road detail to 0% and 50% & 100% makes no difference. It's so frustrating.

He seems like a nice guy I left a comment on his most recent video highlighting this problem. My thinking if we all who are having this problem comment to him explaining what's happening hell think ah okay this is happening to loads of people we need to fix it! Which Porsche? The 2018 or the 2019. The 2018 one can we fixed just through set up work and a bit of playing around, as it has massive rear stability problems. Always worth softening up the rear and stiffening the front slightly, and I run BB between 52/54% with a 2% shift rear during the tyre stint. The 2019 one is more stable though. A lot nicer to drive on base setup. Hope this helps 😊
My settings have changed sines the recent update. The update has broken my settings. I had them perfect. Now have to find the settings again and it affects your score. Not good.
t1m vor 1 Sekunde just cut the rubber to 17,4mm-16,8mm, when you remove it, it does not feel good. if you cut it it gives you a nice feel but you can get 100% brake without standing on the brake. 17,4 more force 16,8 bit lighter but dont cut to much
Has anyone had any issues with the throttle and brake not reaching 100%? They register at max on Pcars2 and Nascar Heat 4 but not ACC for some damn reason

How have you you guys been finding braking? The G920 brake pedal is a stiff bugger, but normally you can adjust brake sensitivity etc to compensate, but theres nothing like that in ACC. I've been finding it hard to brake well enough without feeling like I'm going to put my foot through the floor lol
Haha. I think the main issue I’ve found is getting smooth braking rather than trouble hitting 100% pressure. I’ve adjusted the brake gamma to give it a nicer curve and it works pretty well. It is annoying how you can’t set your own 100% brake value though like you can in other games!

Say at curva Grande at Monza as soon as I turn the wheel even slightly it kinda clunks or jolts and immediately feels very very light as if the tyre is sliding which it isn't! I have set ffb settings as advised by Aris the Dev for this game but when I set it to 85% or less the wheel feels heavier but I lose all tyre and road detail! I've driven a few race cars around brands hatch, not GT3 but I can say for sure what's happening is not realistic at all! At least your, I'm were now alone experiencing it. It really makes the game basically unplayable. Please I recommend going to Aris driver TH-cam channel and commenting on his most recent video like I have telling him about this problem!. The more people that comment to him hopefully he'll listen and realise there is a real problem to fix!

I have the same problem. It feels as if Force Feedback is inverted! Whenever i enter a corner the wheel just follows it. There is sadly no setting on the PS4 to invert this.
@@TheGenetik007 I picked up F1 2020, the ffb is fantastic on PS4 with a G29, you can feel understeer, over steer and break lockups. I don't know how a game like acc with so much time on PC before a console release can feel so crap
Soooo good! As a ps4 player looking to get into sim racing this has really helped me. I'll give all you sim racing peeps a laugh I was nearly gonna refund the game as on my g29 my wheel was having fits until I noticed the steering wheel lock had somehow accidentally been set to 40 degrees!!! My driver looked like he was having a fit in the straights!!! 😄😄. I love proper sims but it is a daunting world to enter. All help gratefully received...

Hey, are you finding your having real problems with the G29 on PS4 with ACC? I'm finding following Aris settings. At 100% gain as soon as I turn the week even slightly say at curva Grande at Monza the wheel steps or clunks and the wheel goes very light as if the tyres are sliding, which I've driven race cars not GT3s at brands hatch and that just doesn't happen like the slight curve on the pit straight, in game steering does the same!. When I put gain at 85% or lower all road detail and tyre detail has gone, the wheel feels heaver through corners etc but no detail!. I have the correct rotation settings for each car and still nothing! I've tried turning road detail to 0%,50%,100%, nothing helps!. I'm sure there is a bug or the FFB is just broken on G29 on PS4!.
I’m having an issue with my G920, the game simply isn’t recognising my wheel, what can I do to fix this? My wheel is completely functional and works on other games
We also had issues when we first connected the wheel. There isn't any in-game prompt telling you your wheel is connected. To solve it we had the game running, navigate to the in game wheel settings with a pad, while in a practice session. Turn the pad off, and it should pop up saying controller disconnected. Then connect your G920 via the USB, let your wheel calibrate and click A. You should then be able to select your gamer profile, and all wheel functions should be working.

ACC will not detect my g920. I hop on other games (dirt2.0,PC2) works fine. But when I go on ACC it allows me to use the wheel as a controller but the steering will not work, and neither will my pedals. Any idea how to fix?
Josh K. I’ve managed to sort it out. Unplug your wheel, go into a practice session with your controller/ game pad. Then turn off your controller whilst in the car and the the controller disconnected screen will appear. Then plug in your wheel and click A to carry on. That worked for me. Hope this helps
when i select the steering wheel in the settings it automatically goes back to the controller, i am not able to use the steering wheel. I don't know what the problem is, but the game doesn't leave the steering wheel selected in the settings (sorry for my english if it's bad)
Did it at least get the wheel working? It could be either your steering lock not set high enough or your gain set too high. Steering lock should be around 800. And gain anywhere between 75-100%. Gain at 100% feels good for me, but some report it being too spiky at 100% so they lower it to around 75-80%
@@SimRacingSetups Well it's really lax but then at random times it becomes spiky then it goes really lax but I'm not sure, just hope they bring a patch out or something
Dude I waited all day just to find out Thrustmaster TMX is not supported at launch. Would have been nice to know I don't know at the launch event instead of telling me about how close sim is to real life for an hour. I tried every fix out there and nothing.
?? We're did you read this . My TMX is working , it's not as good as AC but it's working . Boot up , go practice run and when your on track pull the USB from console then your wheel will calibrate then adjust your settings. Message back for help in settings.

@@NoOne-cg7bq I tried the steps you mentioned but it was a no go. Every thing felt so loose and their was no FFB for curb, rumble strips, or turning for that matter. I appreciate the assistance though.
I have tried these settings but the game is pretty unplayable. Brakes seem way off. I have standard setup at the moment but I do have a gteye spring I need to fit and will remove the rubber block will that help?
Hey im on xbox and i cant get any ffb on my g290 in acc...all the controls work but there is no ffb whatsoever?? Somebody please help! Edit: i figured out that if i reset to default and dont move the minimum force slider, it works...soon as i move that slider anywhere the FFB is gone...weird

one of my worst problems is the position of my steering wheel and the position os the game wheel. they are differents. 3:14 MINUTES we can see the differences
Every car has a different steer lock that you have to correct by yourself. If you send me a messege on psn: MisterRobsonz ill will send you a list with the numbers for each car.
A mi me pasaba lo mismo, y tenía abandonado el volante y pedales. En mi caso, como juego con cambio automático, sin usar el pedal del embrague, abrí la caja de pedales, cambié el muelle del freno por el del embrague, y fue un gran cambio a mejor. Es la única solución que pude optar por el problema del freno tan duro.
@@rubendelgadojr.8851 no, sorry, me refiero al resorte en sí. En españa es común usar el término muelle para ambas cosas de forma muy genérica. Básicamente, cambié el resorte del embrague por el del freno, creo que utilicé un destornillador de estrella bastante largo y una llave Allen para desmontar el mecanismo de los pedales 😉
I've gotta ask a stupid question, but you are using the pedals as well with the G920 yeah? I've tried playing ACC tonight on xbox and the pedals just didn't register at all? Not sure if its me, the game or a glitch?
Yea bud. I’m running the full G920 setup in its standard format. Every time I jump in to the game I have to unplug and plug the G920 multiple times before it fully works though. It’s buggy as hell.
3:14 look at the difference. I'm forever like this hands crossing etc. When the on screen wheel is not. pc2 feels more realistic. Even when you go off on grass youd think your om an ice rink. Different if grass was wet. The sounds are better but I think pc2 feels more authentic than this

Updates mean ANY AMOUNT of MINIMUM FORCE on G920/G29 with ACC will effectively DISABLE ALL FORCE FEEDBACK. Min must now = 0. Gain = 100. Damping Effect = 100. Road Effects = 0. Road effects are not modeled for G920/G29. Please make sure you keep up with the ACC developer posts on the ACC forum.
What about the "steer scale" setting? I'm about to return this game due to the dead spot when turning. ac Ultimate is great with my ps4 and g29, ACC is unplayable.
Unplug it and plug it back in again and let the wheel self calibrate. I have the issue and you have to do it every time you start the game and load into your first session 😊

Ensure you have selected steering wheel and not controller. If it still won’t let you. Disconnect your wheel and plug it back in again. There seems to be a lot of issues with Xbox ACC wheel compatibility currently.
I'm using G29 on PS4 and tried these settings. Felt like I was getting a lot of judder / knocking through the wheel. Should I try dialing something back, in which case which setting ?

I've tried literally everything the FFB on G29 PS4 is completely broken I've replied to other comments on here, nothing I try I adjust everything nothing works, 100%-85% gain the wheel as soon as I turn it a tiny amount it immediately judders or knocks and goes really light like the wheels are sliding when I put it below 85% gain wheel goes heavier but I lose all tyre/road detail even curb detail it's broken totally unplayable on console at moment! Brech - yea they finally released an update on PC2 but it's not something normally supported unfortunately. I wish I could map those two buttons but until release a new update with it enabled we are up the river without a paddle.
@@BA-rh5hy Ah. I haven't played PCars in a while. That is good that they introduced it, as I always wondered what the point in having them on the wheel was as they never worked. F1 2019 still doesn't support it. Fingers crossed for 2020.
Bfeher01 I wouldn’t recommend trying it on default!! Haha. The G920 has terrible deadzone issues with this game on console out of the box. The above solution fixes it the best we can.
I appreciate your efforts to help, but my g920 still has major dead zone issues. Especially with cars like the Merc. Exact same wheel/pedal/Xbox One X combo feels completely different in FM7. Hoping ACC devs figure this out and patch it quickly!

My G29 jerks hard around corners on these setting, so hard it spins me out, and having issues with braking , driving the Porsche

Acc on Xbox just doesn’t work , steering has so much input lag , my ffb changes every lap. Shame as I was so excited for it

@@kczr0059 brake gamma is the ramping of the brake to full so higher should mean you break full quicker

Same story here... my foot is almost on the ground when trying to brake
if you can soft brake remove rubber insert . then swap the clutch spring with the accelerator spring for a more resistive accelerator
Brake dead zone is the option you need to tweak if the brake pedal is still stiff

I've been having a similar problem except for me it just doesnt register the pedals

Those buttons are simply for show. They aren't actually map-able buttons

Hey I've just replied to another guy in this thread I'm and he's having exactly the same problem!. In corners the steering goes really really light G29 on PS4. Say at curva Grande at Monza as soon as I turn the wheel even slightly it kinda clunks or jolts and immediately feels very very light as if the tyre is sliding which it isn't! I have set ffb settings as advised by Aris the Dev for this game but when I set it to 85% or less the wheel feels heavier but I lose all tyre and road detail! I've driven a few race cars around brands hatch, not GT3 but I can say for sure what's happening is not realistic at all! At least your, I'm were now alone experiencing it. It really makes the game basically unplayable. Please I recommend going to Aris driver TH-cam channel and commenting on his most recent video like I have telling him about this problem!. The more people that comment to him hopefully he'll listen and realise there is a real problem to fix!
My steer lock is set to 0° and I cannot adjust it. Is this normal?
Do you have any advice for new wheel settings post next gen update. My logitech doesn't work at all now with the new update :(
ACC will not detect my g920.
I hop on other games (dirt2.0,PC2) works fine.
But when I go on ACC it allows me to use the wheel as a controller but the steering will not work, and neither will my pedals.
Any idea how to fix?

Josh K. I’ve managed to sort it out. Unplug your wheel, go into a practice session with your controller/ game pad. Then turn off your controller whilst in the car and the the controller disconnected screen will appear. Then plug in your wheel and click A to carry on. That worked for me. Hope this helps
Am i the only one who feels like the steering is too light? It felt better/heavier on original asseto corsa.

when i select the steering wheel in the settings it automatically goes back to the controller, i am not able to use the steering wheel. I don't know what the problem is, but the game doesn't leave the steering wheel selected in the settings (sorry for my english if it's bad)

Did it at least get the wheel working? It could be either your steering lock not set high enough or your gain set too high. Steering lock should be around 800. And gain anywhere between 75-100%. Gain at 100% feels good for me, but some report it being too spiky at 100% so they lower it to around 75-80%

G920 clips at 100% gain so why have it at 100%?
Dude I waited all day just to find out Thrustmaster TMX is not supported at launch. Would have been nice to know I don't know at the launch event instead of telling me about how close sim is to real life for an hour. I tried every fix out there and nothing.
?? We're did you read this . My TMX is working , it's not as good as AC but it's working . Boot up , go practice run and when your on track pull the USB from console then your wheel will calibrate then adjust your settings. Message back for help in settings.

I have tried these settings but the game is pretty unplayable. Brakes seem way off. I have standard setup at the moment but I do have a gteye spring I need to fit and will remove the rubber block will that help?

Edit: i figured out that if i reset to default and dont move the minimum force slider, it works...soon as i move that slider anywhere the FFB is gone...weird

one of my worst problems is the position of my steering wheel and the position os the game wheel. they are differents. 3:14 MINUTES we can see the differences
Every car has a different steer lock that you have to correct by yourself. If you send me a messege on psn: MisterRobsonz ill will send you a list with the numbers for each car.

A mi me pasaba lo mismo, y tenía abandonado el volante y pedales. En mi caso, como juego con cambio automático, sin usar el pedal del embrague, abrí la caja de pedales, cambié el muelle del freno por el del embrague, y fue un gran cambio a mejor. Es la única solución que pude optar por el problema del freno tan duro.

@@rubendelgadojr.8851 no, sorry, me refiero al resorte en sí. En españa es común usar el término muelle para ambas cosas de forma muy genérica. Básicamente, cambié el resorte del embrague por el del freno, creo que utilicé un destornillador de estrella bastante largo y una llave Allen para desmontar el mecanismo de los pedales 😉

I've gotta ask a stupid question, but you are using the pedals as well with the G920 yeah? I've tried playing ACC tonight on xbox and the pedals just didn't register at all? Not sure if its me, the game or a glitch?
Yea bud. I’m running the full G920 setup in its standard format. Every time I jump in to the game I have to unplug and plug the G920 multiple times before it fully works though. It’s buggy as hell.

3:14 look at the difference. I'm forever like this hands crossing etc. When the on screen wheel is not. pc2 feels more realistic. Even when you go off on grass youd think your om an ice rink. Different if grass was wet. The sounds are better but I think pc2 feels more authentic than this

Updates mean ANY AMOUNT of MINIMUM FORCE on G920/G29 with ACC will effectively DISABLE ALL FORCE FEEDBACK. Min must now = 0. Gain = 100. Damping Effect = 100. Road Effects = 0. Road effects are not modeled for G920/G29. Please make sure you keep up with the ACC developer posts on the ACC forum.
What about the "steer scale" setting? I'm about to return this game due to the dead spot when turning. ac Ultimate is great with my ps4 and g29, ACC is unplayable.

On console you can do it in the game menu. On PC you have to use the Logitech GHub.

Unplug it and plug it back in again and let the wheel self calibrate. I have the issue and you have to do it every time you start the game and load into your first session 😊

It should do if your wheel is working correctly. Try unplugging your wheel and plugging it back in again for it to be recognised.

@@will1856 if your on the g29 i unplugged the short usb cable. Try to not have any controllers connected aswell.
switched from Project Cars 2 to Assetto. Its insane. Assetto is so much better.

Totally agree. Acc is underrated on xb1. However the current update has screwed my wheel settings.

And how do you use the brake? Can you adjust the brake in acc xb1, because the brake is soo hard.

Ensure you have selected steering wheel and not controller. If it still won’t let you. Disconnect your wheel and plug it back in again. There seems to be a lot of issues with Xbox ACC wheel compatibility currently.

I'm using G29 on PS4 and tried these settings. Felt like I was getting a lot of judder / knocking through the wheel. Should I try dialing something back, in which case which setting ?
If you’re getting too much judder lower the gain until your happy. Anywhere between 75-100 is good. You could also lower your road effects to 10-15%

I've tried literally everything the FFB on G29 PS4 is completely broken I've replied to other comments on here, nothing I try I adjust everything nothing works, 100%-85% gain the wheel as soon as I turn it a tiny amount it immediately judders or knocks and goes really light like the wheels are sliding when I put it below 85% gain wheel goes heavier but I lose all tyre/road detail even curb detail it's broken totally unplayable on console at moment! If you go to Aris.drivers TH-cam channel he's the lead physics Dev for ACC and comment on his most recent video telling him about the problems, I did earlier hopefully everyone telling him he'll realise it's broken for everyone with a G29 hopefully he'll asap fix it, he seems like a nice guy

You have to properly stomp on the G920 pedal! It is very stiff and ACC doesn't let you calibrate the sensitivity.

just cut the rubber to 17,4mm-16,8mm, when you remove it, it does not feel good. if you cut it it gives you a nice feel but you can get 100% brake without standing on the brake. 17,4 more force 16,8 bit lighter but dont cut to much
What does it mean to drown out force feedback?
Too much vibration in the wheel that you can’t distinguish exactly what you are feeling

Brech - yea they finally released an update on PC2 but it's not something normally supported unfortunately. I wish I could map those two buttons but until release a new update with it enabled we are up the river without a paddle.
@@BA-rh5hy Ah. I haven't played PCars in a while. That is good that they introduced it, as I always wondered what the point in having them on the wheel was as they never worked. F1 2019 still doesn't support it. Fingers crossed for 2020.

Bfeher01 I wouldn’t recommend trying it on default!! Haha. The G920 has terrible deadzone issues with this game on console out of the box. The above solution fixes it the best we can.
I appreciate your efforts to help, but my g920 still has major dead zone issues. Especially with cars like the Merc. Exact same wheel/pedal/Xbox One X combo feels completely different in FM7. Hoping ACC devs figure this out and patch it quickly!
