    My current favorite wellness ritual is doing stretches and yoga to move gas through my system and reduce anxiety

    Enjoyed this video and appreciate your channel a lot! I see my Family doc and Gastroenterologist this week, follow up to recent colonoscopy and endoscopy. I have been battling Reflux/GERD for several years, I had severe reactions to PPIs/H2Blockers and need better treatment options.
    From a personal perspective my treatment philosophy is treat the ‘source’ of the disease, not just the symptoms, and here is where I diverge from treatment protocols using PPI/H2Blockers, they treat the acid but NOT the source of overproducing or underproducing acid. I truly believe the correct diet coupled with lifestyle changes you discuss are much more appropriate to treating/correcting the real cause of an imbalance in stomach acid, and healing damaged tissue as well!
    Thanks so much for bringing your expertise to those of us who do not have access to a dietitian and want to regain our health!

    Yes I feel that way to,last year in January,when I was diagnosed with gastritis and duodenitis I was only eating a few foods and lost so much weight. It was so frustrating that I would cry because I felt that I couldn't eat hardly anything and was afraid to eat foods that trigger pain.

    Hey Molly!
    This helped me a lot, I'm currently on the healing process of a gastritis/esophagitis, with a lot of constipation and also having IBS.
    A question, on your exercise point: when i did the gastroscopy I was also diagnosed with a small hiatal hernia. From what I understood not a lot of exercise is possible with this, I used to exercise 4 times a week from pilates fusion to cardio with weights, but now I don't know what to do. Do you have recommendations on this one?

    I have acid reflux and gastritis
    Every time I eat acid fruits like Oranges it hurts my stomach I don't know maybe my mind....
    Any tips to that....thanks 😊 🙏

      awww thank you for your support! yes sometimes acidic fruits like citrus can be cause symptoms - how is canteloupe, papaya, watermelon or strawberries?

      And watermelon pears and cantaleoupe in the afternoon...but sometimes I crave for Oranges or acidic fruits est...do you think vitamins C helps with craving?
