I feel your pain, I’ve had IBS for 21 years. I get all the other symptoms too, tiredness, anxiety etc. Anxiety is a massive trigger for me, it started after a very stressful time in my 20’s. Summer is my fav season too but my gut likes cold weather, hates the heat (except for my trusty hot water bottle!). I’m now 47 and perimenopausal and boy! Those hormones are no of friend of IBS! Non sufferers don’t always understand too well, it is a bit like wading through concrete some days.
I have sever ibs for 2 years, my symptoms doesn't go away and it has been with me each day. I tried everything from being lactose and gluten free, following the fodmap diet, taking probiotics, fiber supplements, meditation and exercise, taking drugs as laxative and antispasmodic and NOTHING helped at all. Till one doctor prescribed me amitriptyline which is a tricyclic antidepressants 50 mg each day at bedtime and seriously everything changed i am free of all the symptoms and i can literally eat anything even spicy foods. So please talk with your doctor FIRST and ask them about this drug. It was a miracle for me that's why i wanted to share my story. Stay strong everyone 💪
I’ve also had IBS-D for 10 years. It hit me when I was 17, now 28. I avoid caffeine, chocolate, coffee (even decaf) , sodas, fried foods, gum, soups, and most vegetables and fruits except for lettuce, cucumbers, and bananas.
Here with maybe having IBS.. haven’t gotten diagnosed but it seriously just makes me want to live in isolation with my own home, my own toilet and for me to just live like that for the rest of my life. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge of this. You’re amazing.
Please don't isolate yourself. Otherwise your life will become a hell. Just try to remind yourself that IBs is not a disease it is a life style. Going toilet several times a day is our need and nobody has the right to stop us.
Things that helped me: 1. Early sleep (at least 8 hours) 2. Replacing caffeine with decaf 3. Homemade 24 hour yogurt 4. Kefir 5. Aloe gel 6. Fenugreek 7. Limiting carbs 8. Limiting onion & garlic 9. Exercise If you can manage to do this stuff everyday hours your symptoms will decrease A Lot!! Good luck
It’s such a relief to hear I’m not on my own. The fatigue is unreal!! Along with this digestive issues which you can just deal with but the tiredness is crazy. I’m also undiagnosed for coeliac disease as already cut it out. Thank you for sharing your story xx
Do you also have this dizzy feeling, like you're not really in the moment and you can't focus. Like you can't get out of your head. I am always thinking what's going on with me but now i see all the comments i guess it could be my ibs.
Thanks Becky for sharing your experience with ibs. I do feel for you because it can be so debilitating. I suffer myself with it myself. Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason to it. I can sometimes eat something really spicy etc and be fine then other times I can have a glass of water and be cramping so much. It's a strange thing. Thanks again for sharing x
I feel your pain, I've had IBS for almost 2 years. It has called so many other symptoms, fatigue, anxiety and paranoia. I've had anxiety for my whole life but It triggers the pain a bunch, I can't eat or drink dairy, I can't eat gluten. 2 months after I started getting symptoms I went to the doctors In March 2021 and they didn't do anything, so I went to the doctors In April 2021 and they gave me Famoditine (you can look it up) and It helped SO SO much with my symptoms and acid reflux, once I finished the bottle of Famoditine I started gaining my symptoms again, So this year I bought more Famoditine and It doesn't work anymore. And like you said In the video, the weather triggers flare ups, for instance It has been raining ALL WEEK, and I have been in pain all week. Thanks for making this video, It really comforted me. Thanks.
I just discovered your videos and I don’t feel so alone anymore. Your description of how IBS has evolved over the years matches my experience too. Sugar right now is a huge trigger and it’s been hard. My wife had gestational diabetes and I cook at home, and creating a following this diet helped me so much at the time. After baby was born, we tried reintroducing sugar to our diet, and she’s fine but I get very sick.
The one good thing I can say about menopause is the absence of the hormonal roller coaster. Definitely improved IBS as long as I avoid my triggers (other than stress).
Hi Becky, love your channel! I was diagnosed with IBS 12 years ago ( I can't believe its been that long!) and while the Low FODMAP diet has helped me, there were definitely other measures I had to take to get me to where I'm at now - which is great! I feel better than I have in years! At my worst though, I was in a tremendous amount of pain EVERYWHERE (bones, muscles, joints, skin, teeth, hair follicles - it was bad), lots of brain fog, fatigue, anxiety/depression, skin and hair problems, etc. They actually diagnosed me with fibromyalgia at one point, which was super defeating because there was no treatment or cure at the time. Things did get worse before they got better, but once I found the Low FODMAP diet things really started to turn around. I also worked to rebalance my gut microbiome, which was totally outta wack, and worked to heal my intestinal lining which was inflamed and permeable. Once I did that, I was pretty much back to normal (I even have normal poos!). I still have minor symptoms during particularly stressful times or when I've eaten something I know I shouldn't have, but it's a far cry from where I started. I'm sorry to hear that you're still having such a rough go of it, and I wish you well during this ongoing journey. I feel like you've probably looked into this stuff already, but I wanted to mention it just in case. Take care.
The low fodmap diet really hasn't helped me much :( what other ways did you find that helped? I know I have a lot of inflammation and bloating is my main symptom? X
I have just been diagnosed with IBS after struggeling with my stomach for over 4 years now. Getting this diagnosis made me feel very hopeless and sad, because there is no quick fix, medicine or surgery that can help, and that I most likely will have pain my whole life, off and on. I am doing a lot of research right now on what helps, and I am very happy you made this video!
Born with colic and 60 yrs later still have IBS. It doesn't go away, you learn to live with it, and adjust. In my 60 years the food through GMO changes means thing that never bothered me, may do now. The most helpful thing I've found? Intermittent fasting, eating 2 small meals per day, increasing water intake. If I'm going to eat a questionable food for me I make sure it's when I have nothing planned for the evening. Sometimes I find I can add a food back.
After a series of tests, I am diagnosed of IBS. 😢Thanks for sharing your experiences. I think I have to start accepting that this is a life time thing. IBS is non life threatening but it’s life screwing. 😢
Whasupp man, hope ya doing good! Currently struggling with IBS aswell having symptoms for over the last 5 years. It's getting better slowly. Starting to understand what the potential cause could be after extensive research, which is inflammation that leads to excessive growth of harmful bacteria fungi, parasites. This makes sense to me because of the direct impact bacteria have over your mental and physical health. Check out the latest research on that, aswell as 90% of your '' happiness'' hormones are made in the GUT! Logically the GUT is also the '' organ'' that provides your with energy. So ofc eating most of the food in the supermarket has an effect on your GUT, because most foods in the supermarket are overly processed with sugar, salt, refined grains, conservatives etc...... IBS is just a name that doctors give to your symptoms because they have no explanation. My doctor didn't even ask once about the way i'm living or eating. Anyway what helped for me was a whole plant based, glutenfree, dairyfree, diet. Aswell recommend cutting on the grain intake since the introduction of grain as a stable was basically coming from the BIG food industry giants!! And also try support the growth of beneficial bacteria in your gut, with the use of fermented food like kimchi or kombucha. (especially if ever had antibiotics because they fuck up everything in your gut). See your gut more like an ecosystem like a forest and depending on what food you eat the ecosystem in your body grows in a certain way! There are more bacteria in your body than human cells, crazy stuff! Also check out Cellery juice (from anthony williams) as potential healing tool instead of all the medicine crap that big pharma companies want to give us to make money. Hope you can start your healing journey soon man. Spread the message. Don't give up!!🤙✌
ibs can lead to magnesiun defiency. I also have ibs and that gut disease lead me to magnesium defiency. IBS is reversible (magnesiun is needed for the body to function correctly) in order to absorb magnesium and other minerals more effiencienly you need probiotics like (kefir (water or milk, yogurt, combucha) ibs is low grade inflamation and low grade inflamation someday in the future decades will turn into cancer. Skiping vegetals is big mistake because the only way to obtain magnesium is through vegetables. Its reversible dude you need to be proactive in UK the food is depleted in minerals that explains cancer cases in young people. In order to process sugar the body uses a lot of magnesium refined food is bad becase that it does not provide any magnesiun whatsoever. You can load yourself with magnesium with fruits nuts also bone brot, blackstrap molases. brown sugar is healthy than white. You are not gong to wan to feel you brain swell due magnesium defiency i'm warning you.
Thank you for sharing all this time. After COVID-19 my GI has been a wreck. Your videos have been so helpful and I am so thankful for you sharing your experiences!
Same. I was super healthy. So much spiritual learning thru it all. I do have hope tho and was months without it. The trial and error to manage symptoms has been exhausting. Reddit has been helpful.
I suffered with IBS for over 32 years . Had all the tests and cameras up and diwn etc. My dr sent me too an IBS dietitian and put on the Fodmap diet and low and behold im gluten intolerant . My life has changed so much . No pains or toilet trips .. unless i eat wheat . Then its my fault 🙄
@@dhananjaytalwar7565 I’m in the UK and we have a diet called Fodmap and you have to follow the diet and then gradually introduce foods back into the diet and see if the pains come back .. mine was as soon as I introduced wheat . I did do the diet through an IBS dietitian. Contact your dr and get referred
As a suggestion Fibromyalgia a condition that’s symptoms are aches, pains, brain fog, fatigue can be triggered by long term chronic pain such as ibs symptoms
Thank you for sharing! I find some solace in hearing that you also react to weather changes and that sometimes you have symptoms for no reason, because I feel it too
You aren't imagining it. It is a very frustrating and difficult thing to manage and understand. Symptoms do eb and flow and change strangely. I do think combinations interact, maybe one sets you up to be sensitive to another. Thank you for making the video and sharing 🙂
ibs is reversible. I have ibs and that condition lead me to a magnesium defiency nobody warn me about that. Magnesium is needed for the body to function correctly. In order to absorb magnesium more efectly you need probiotics like kefir (water or milk kefir) or yogurt. Skiping vegetables is unwise because the only way to obain magnesium is through vegetables. If you are low magnesiun you will more prone to allergies. Magnesium controlls your mood if you are low in magnesium you will be angry and stressed also stress depletes magnesium. White sugar depletes magnesium, the body needs a lot magnesium to process it. IBS is low grade inflamation and that low grade inflamation in the future decades will turn into cancer. Magnesiun is natural antiflamatory. Magnesium defiency is caled the invisible defiency
I have been struggling with IBS for a couple years. Trying to stay positive is my main focus atm. Definitely frustrating especially socially I feel like I'm in slow motion sometimes missing out on fun. It's ok if I have to hurt but missing out on life is the worst.
I had it for 10yrs, Doctor has no clues!!! I tried gluten free and that did help but keto explained everything! I am strict strict keto almost to carnivore (some days I just eat meat). I can name what doesn't upset gut and it is a short list but healthy!
Thank you for sharing your own experience and thank you for sharing all of your recipes! I have grown to love your channel and have tried a few of your recipes now. I have not been "definitively" diagnosed yet with IBS, but I have gone through a multitude of tests and am currently taking medication for it. I also have upper GI issues. Its been a nightmare to say the least. It only began in January for me. I can completely relate to all of your symptoms including the constipation, brain fog, and pain in your muscles and/or knees. Its been the most challenging experience in my life thus far. That being said I am a firefighter/emt and also a nursing student. I have not been able to have any garlic or onion at all yet. I can't have garlic infused oil either. I am also now gluten free and have to have minimal to no dairy. Its been such a challenge for me but I am adapting as best I can. That being said I just want to say thank you again for sharing your story and being authentic to your viewers such as myself who are still so new to this. Your recipes and story have encouraged me to keep trying and that I am not alone. I wish you the best of luck as you continue your IBS journey. Some one once told me that in your harshest moments their are usually the best moments that follow. I hope that will be the same for you!
Brain fog and aching muscles have you thought of fibromalga as well. I am now 81 and had IBS all my life as have various members of my family, I managed to sort it out somewhat by diet then found I had kidney disease CKD grade4 so had to change to an Alkaline diet and boy has that caused problems.
My triggers are most artificial sweeteners, fat, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, and any raw veg other than romaine lettuce. Welchol, which is a bile binder, helps a lot during flairs. It's very difficult trying to lose weight because there's not the option to fill my diet with fiber-rich veg or going keto. ETA that I've had diagnosed IBS since I was 17, after my gallbladder became necrotic, and I'm 35 now.
Thank you for posting these videos. I have been having IBS like issues for the last couple of years. I have been so embarrassed about it or thinking it will resolve on its own that I was worried about seeing a doctor. All of your videos have helped a lot. I have definitely felt a mental connection to it as well. Thank you for all of your videos :)
Thank you for sharing your experience. This was something I been looking for. I have suffering with disease about 20 years now and I feel miserable most days. Coffee, pasta breads, onion/garlic are things that course the most trouble. I have severe stomach distension, cramps, headaches, constipation, tired, fogginess, muscle, back pain. Those are just few of my symptoms. I can’t lose weight. I feel so ugly!
My friend, you are not ugly in any way shape or form. You are beautiful, amazing and a great human being! Your story is worthy of being told and could inspire many people around you! I know you are and will do great things to influence and inspire others. Your IBS problems should never define you and your true purpose. It’s hard, I can only imagine. I don’t have ibs and hope I never get it. You’ve got this my friend. Stay strong! If y wanna talk, I’m here
I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease 10 years ago and my story is very similar to yours. Before going completely gluten free, despite being very bloated, I barely had digestive symptoms. It seems like as soon as my small intestine healed from the gluten, I suddenly couldn't tolerate most foods and developed IBS along the way. Just like you I can get very stressed about finding out what exactly is making me sick when I always eat the same thing and technically shouldn't be having a reaction. My period always make everything worse, and the hot weather too!
Hi my story is exactly the same as yours. The only thing is I am a male and I was diagnosed with celiac disease almost 3 years ago. I obviously improved a lot removing gluten but one year after my diagnosis, I started having IBS symptoms. I was recently diagnosed with IBS after following the FODMAPs diet for a bout a year. Apparently both things are somehow related
@@ATG2290 Low fodmap diet definitely helped improved my IBS symptoms. At this point I have mostly just accepted that my digestive system will never be perfect and I try to not worry about it too much. It helps me worry less about it too.
@@Gladioli10 thanks for the advice! Not worrying about it definitely helps. In fact, I believe stress is a big trigger in my case. The thing I've found to have helped me the most is exercise. Cardio in small amounts and weightlifting, it's helped my digestion tons. Highly recommended ;)
I've had IBS for 30 years back in the late 80's I was in and out of hospital with pain had cameras up cameras down had laparoscopies .Then 10 years ago I had a horrendous flare up and had to go through the whole tests again and X-rays with dyes , ive developed dairy and gluten intolerance . It's been dreadful since the whole pandemic which is anxiety related . Terrible headaches feeling sick bloated and just feeling rubbish . X
I feel you, Mine started when I was 15, constant constipation. from about 27 to 40 yrs old it was a mixture. At 41 it became almost entirely diarrhea. I am now coming 57 and for the last year it has got so bad, I am having to race to the washroom and 1/2 the time not making it. About once a month I get constipation and the pain and burning is worse than ever. I have to try so hard to get it out because diarrhea is behind it followed by 1 or 2 more blockages. I also have osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia and severe COPD , so I have accidents just by coughing. Hope you are feeling better xx
Over the past 3 years I've been diagnosed with the same 3 only not the fibromyalgia. It's not easy, I definitely feel like I'm trapped inside near the toilet such fun.
Thank you so much for sharing! The brain fog is a big deal for me and I never related that with IBS I thought there was something wrong with my brain.. Thanks you this was really nice I feel I am not alone..
Im 17 years old and I have been researching a lot about IBS and I am going to go get diagnosed tomorrow and I am very scared because Im not good when it comes to medical things but If I have it I’m glad I can watch videos like these to help me.
@@whopwhop6732 the doctor said its likely I have it and gave me medicine for it. I am still having really awful days where im just in pain but it is getting a lot better 👍🏻
Things that helped me. Available in the US on Amazon. IBguard capsules (my doctor recommended them) IBS Clear (digestion enzymes) Heather’s Tummy Tea - the fennel seed one is good for treating bloating Heather’s Water Soluble Fiber- available on Amazon and her website.
Have you ever thought that intestinal parasites may be a cause of IBS? Some people have gotten tested and went on antibiotics for 3 weeks, and the symptoms were gone. Most doctors easily dismiss this possibility, especially in UK, but it's very common.
Oh my gosh… this is exactly how I feel too. I gave up gluten 9 years ago and I still struggle. I know it has been so difficult for you too😢 thank you for sharing your experience with this condition. ❤
Thank you for sharing. It is helpful to know I'm not alone in this and reading others comments also help. Hoping you all have more good days than bad ones.
Was diagnosed with IBS about 40 years ago, then 20 years ago diagnosed with Gluten & Dairy intolerance. Things improved for few years but last few years not been good. Awaiting a second opinion appointment!!
Bro it's humiliating. I am studying in high school and I couldn't sit in class. I'm really embarrassed. I am suffering this for past 5 years. I just have one question to ask you. How did you get this ? What went wrong and where did your IBS problem started ?
The way you describe your experience with ibs is so similar to mine , you really took the words right out of my mouth. I was hoping you’d say you found more resolution than you did but I guess that’s the life we have with ibs , making the best of a shitty hand... pun intended
Just want to say thank you for talking about IBS and I'm glad I found your channel because I've been feeling like I'm the only one in almost constant pain. The condition is debilitating and I've had to leave jobs because of the pain and lose friends. It's interesting what you say about gluten because I find wheat always causes problems and sugar is also a factor.
Hi Becky, I completely understand exactly where you're coming from, I'm over 50 and got diagnosed with celiac disease only a few years ago. Doctors were telling me ALL those years it was IBS until my actual diagnosis. Anyway, my gastroenterologist told me that about 90% of people with celiac are lactose intolerant and that they have symptoms exactly as you are describing. So my question is: have you by any chance been tested for lactose intolerance? If not I would definitely go have the test. I hope everything works out for you. Love from Pensacola, Florida 😊❤
Becky try - look on the internet highly recommend - Wim Hof just a breathing technique (free and easy each day) helps anxiety and depression and therefore IBS disappears
I have IBS D around 10yrs now and can very well connect. Also got migraine since childhood which can be pretty bad too but currently IBS is a bigger problem for me. Some IBS patients may have symptoms of fibromyalgia such as muscle pain, these three conditions probably have a common root cause CSS - Central Sensitivity Syndrome.
Having a flare up now and this video has calmed me down to know I'm not alone and my cramps have eased a little bit. Honestly I wish you nothing but the best with your ibs and the strength to always get through your bad days we can do this 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Have you looked into nightshade vegetables. It quite eye opening. Some are considered low formal but have high histamine. Tomatoes, potatoes and eggplant are some in the nightshade family. Just thought I’d mention it.
Sugar is the WORST! Almost everything has sugar. It contributes to health issues. I suffer with Lichen Planus( the worst skin disorder ever) had to stay away from sugar and processed foods completely for a while. Thank you so much for this video.
If you havent, you should make a video about travel tips for people with IBS. I am trying to think what I could do once i start traveling again. Developed IBS late last year :/ so now im coping with it.
Take imodium plus comfort tablets they'll help you with bloating and diarrhea you'll get rid of all IBS symptoms and can eat whatever you want but I noticed it made me get constipated and all bloated the next day💔💔
I have been suffering from IBS for the past six months, those were the worst 6 months of my life. It makes u feel really insecure and affect your productivity at work, its even hard to think about going to work even. Sitting from 9 to 5 with constant bloating and abdominal cramps is a nightmare.....
I got diagnosed in 2018 my mum had it and when i complained of some symptoms to her she took me to get diagnosed and now 3 years later i have delt with it well. I didn't and don't have any food triggers but i do get triggered by leaving the house and especially going to school or to play sports. I'm not nervous to do these things but it still happens and i really wish it didn't. Although im not nervous when i leave the house in year 6 just before i got diagnosed i did my SATs and the anxiety from that ment i was dealing with it for about a month. And also when it gets hot and i do physical activity it triggers. Ngl feels good to just type this out
One of the things that have eased the symptoms quite a lot specially the bloating and constipation is doing intermittent fasting. Started gradually with short periods of fasting and now doing 16/8 is working really well and just getting hydrated since waking up in the morning until eating the first meal at 12 noon is a great way to re set the digestive system and get everything flowing and moving inside the stomach. Also very important and beneficial is to practise meditation and if you can also exercise even better. The brain is connected to our gut and everything we think we feel it with our stomach so worth to check it out first, see what this stuff is all about before giving it a try. But might be very very good ;)
I have had IBS c since I was about 10 years old, mine is definitely triggered my anxiety and stress. I can’t wait fruit though it instantly gives me awful stomach cramps
It changes on you all the time sometimes it overwhelming yes I know about the pain and the runs have to stay by a bathroom mine is the runs and the gas smells bad I know everything your talking about and stress will do it to trust me I understand sometimes you feel like you're all alone yes you can feel it coming on you just don't know sometimes it won't go away that's right except it you have to or you will drive yourself crazy and make things worse I love the video blessings to you and yours stay safe 🦋
I wish there were more youtubers who talk about this as much as she does. Sometimes I feel crazy like I’m making it all up. I feel so alone and sad sometimes and jealous of people with normal functioning bodies. If anyone knows of any resources that makes them feel less crazy or alone, please share them with me.
@@samkcatladyaks I wish there where more that talked about it to but it tis what it tis all I can tell you is keep your head up and tell yourself. I have had ibs for years too, cant eat milk, gluten, onions.a nd the flatulence..its a total nightmare.. Youve basically have summed up my life.◼ my gastro started me on trulance, which gives me diarrhea😞
I know what you mean about the sugar, I now have real problems when I have fatty foods, especially fatty sugary foods and also satsumas, there doesn't seem to be any consistent pattern to it though, it really wears me out dealing with my ibs
I’ve been suffering with IBS -c for many years and it’s debilitating! Doctors don’t help . I also suffer from anxiety and depression they make ibs worse . I can’t cope with IBS. I get wind, bloating, bowel doesn’t always empty and I get left with an uncomfortable feeling in my stomach.

Hi Becky … just a thought (because I’m listening to you talk about your symptoms …) have you had your thyroid checked - could also be a contributing factor (as it is for me! Ps love your books and your vids.
Wow. I just stumbled on your channel looking for fodmap information. We've been vegan/vegetarian for a while but most foods we eat are high fodmap list. Looking forward to seeing more videos of how you do your meals.
So many tests and just recently a hydrogen breath test with lactose and a gastric emptying and still no answers. I have IBSC but my gi dr is struggling to help me
I have suffered for 10 years triggered from stress periods make it worse and weather and some foods and omg summer does make me bloat relate to all of these
I’m curious how many of you have tried vsl3 or Visbiome probiotics? I did six months straight alternating both of them about 2 years ago and I have t had ibs since. Before that I was going to the bathroom 4-5 x a day, constant spasms through my gut. Had to take 6-12 immodiums per day to leave the house Also, how many of you took accutane as a teenager? It destroys stomach bacteria for decades but I was able to fix mine with the vsl3 and visbiome
I am just now watching your video and I know it’s a older video but if you haven’t been diagnosed you sound like you have fibromyalgia, and IBS comes with it if I was you, I would see the doctor and have them check you. That would explain some of your other symptoms. Good luck.
@@sweethome4175 now it’s very better, symptoms are not that frequent after completely change my diet and taking diazepam to relax the muscle. Ask to your doctor of course. Hope it helps.
I get fatigued easily, if I have too much sugar I get anxious, lactose intolerance, wheat and gluten intolerance, I've never been formally diagnosed and it's really frustrating. 😞
I can totally relate. The symptoms that appear in the week to and of the time of the month is the worst for me omg. Thanks for sharing this video. Hope you feel better soon.
Just got diagnosed with gastroparesis, have you ever had a gastric emptying test done? I've had IBS and GERD my entire life but I'm only 25 and have developed a paralyzed stomach.
Thanks for sharing Becky. I can relate to you a lot as I suffer from ibs too but find a low fat diet helps. Also gluten free food and exercise have worked for me too. Don’t think my body can absorb fatty food so I steer clear. Sending positive vibes 💖😊
Wow this really breaks my heart. I had IBS for almost a decade before I found my cure and it's 100% gone now. When I tell you my IBS was severe I'm not exaggerating. Today and for the last 3-4 years I don't have any symptoms or food intolerance anymore. My diet no longer needs to be strict. I'm going to make some videos on how I healed for those who need it.. If I healed completely, you can too.
Hi mam can you pls share me what did you do to make you cured? It's a huge help to me and to my little children. Thank you very much mam. Hoping for your reply
ive never been diagnosed but sure i have it..did good for a few or 4 days after watching you and other videos..other day my daughter went to eat out so i dint have to cook i was tired and killed a can of sirloin beef and potatoes out the can on bread just for a quick dinner and..been paying the dues for 2 days now wow i gotta be carefull lol!!!
Problem with food, especially here in the US. Its all so jam packed with preservatives, sugar, fat, and grease... hell water was even a trigger for me (Tap water consists of Chlorine and Floride which is natorious for upsetting the gut microbacteria) so i drink bottled alkaline water which appears to be giving me the best results i can get.

3. Homemade 24 hour yogurt

6. Fenugreek
7. Limiting carbs

2 months after I started getting symptoms I went to the doctors In March 2021 and they didn't do anything,
so I went to the doctors In April 2021 and they gave me Famoditine (you can look it up) and It helped SO SO much with my symptoms and acid reflux, once I finished the bottle of Famoditine I started gaining my symptoms again, So this year I bought more Famoditine and It doesn't work anymore.
I'm glad you're better now, i trust that i will also be better one day 🙏🏼I have a lot of gases and it overwhelms me
Yes what worked for you to restore your gut microbiome and leaky gut?
I have just been diagnosed with IBS after struggeling with my stomach for over 4 years now. Getting this diagnosis made me feel very hopeless and sad, because there is no quick fix, medicine or surgery that can help, and that I most likely will have pain my whole life, off and on. I am doing a lot of research right now on what helps, and I am very happy you made this video!
How are you feeling right now? I’ve been diagnosed last week and idk what to do
@@kevinsunny8919 look into the Fodmap diet, it helps alot of People.
God is your healer! Don't give up
Eish it's been 11 years for me. I also thought I was going to be cured one day. Stay strong Becky.
After a series of tests, I am diagnosed of IBS. 😢Thanks for sharing your experiences. I think I have to start accepting that this is a life time thing. IBS is non life threatening but it’s life screwing. 😢
I agree
How do you find out if you’re gluten intolerant?
@@dhananjaytalwar7565 I’m in the UK and we have a diet called Fodmap and you have to follow the diet and then gradually introduce foods back into the diet and see if the pains come back .. mine was as soon as I introduced wheat . I did do the diet through an IBS dietitian. Contact your dr and get referred
As a suggestion Fibromyalgia a condition that’s symptoms are aches, pains, brain fog, fatigue can be triggered by long term chronic pain such as ibs symptoms
That time of the month becoming half of the month really gets me! It’s almost like it’s all the time now! Uuugghh so frustrating
Its definitely a life that is held back. Its so hard. Other people never get it.

How are you now?
i feel you, girl. stress and anxiety are my major triggers.
i also do not eat any process food/ junk foods.

Just now finding this after years of suffering. The mental toll is wearing me down. Thanks so very much! This Truly helps!
ibs is reversible.
So glad to find your video… I thought I was alone with this journey. Your food triggers sounds similar to mine.
Can you have watercress/arugula/tomatoes or Brussels sprouts without any reaction? Thanks
I’m so sorry for all your pain. You’re not alone and keep on fighting❤️
You’ve got this! You can do it!
I'm right there with you on the sugar and gluten. Those seem to cause so much pain amongst other things but sugar and gluten are the worset

I'm in the process of being diagnosed with IBS and just found your channel. Perfect timing, huh?

Eat probiotics. Look up Kefir L. Reuteri yogurt SIBO yogurt. Good luck

But might be very very good ;)
Hey Becky, did you get tested for any bacteria or parasites?

Its all so jam packed with preservatives, sugar, fat, and grease... hell water was even a trigger for me (Tap water consists of Chlorine and Floride which is natorious for upsetting the gut microbacteria) so i drink bottled alkaline water which appears to be giving me the best results i can get.
Did you get mucous in the stool or around the stool?

Is there anyone out there who has had their gallbladder removed and now have terrible digestion issues? I’m a year on from the surgery but now suddenly am having terrible, constant symptoms. I always suffered fromIBS to begin with but now it’s been made so much worse. Already on a no wheat and gluten and no dairy diet. Feeling pretty desperate.
