    Absolutely the best video I have ever seen on explaining sibo/ibs and why bloating happens in the first place. Makes perfect sense as well as the solutions you mentioned.

    Hi, thanks for your video it was very helpful!
    How should we ingest ginger? Will certain cooking methods make it less effective?
    I usually grate it in sauces or sometimes put a knob of it in my tea. Is that helpful?

    Such good information! Thank you! What type of ginger would you suggest...fresh cut, tea, lozenges, etc?

    • @gutmicrobiomequeen
      @gutmicrobiomequeen  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I usually recommend fresh :) although sometimes I will put dried ginger chunks (from MountainRoseHerbs.com) in tea mixes for my patients, and that works well, too.

    Hi Dr. DiNezza. I have a question please if I may. What about the over the counter peppermint supplement that doctors say that may help those with IBS-D is to take IBguard. Is that ok to take everyday for intestinal inflammation, cramping, bloating, muscle spasms with those who have IBS? Thank you in advance.

    Hi DrDinezza I was diagnosed with diverticulosis around 2017.Since then I have had terrible IBS.Mostly bloating and fatigue.Would you suggest ginger tea made with tea bags or do I have to make it with fresh ginger?

      I have had painful bloating due to IBS for years and years. The pain is immense. I then tried probiotics, several of them, they helped but the painful bloating was still there. Only when I combined probiotics with enzymes in tablet form did I finally get relief. It is as if the bloating and pain completely disappeared. I want to tell people that suffer from this so maybe if they try that it will help them too.

      @@dm5129I tried probiotics, probiotics, fiber, you name it. Nothing helped my bloating until I went strict Carnivore. 3 weeks of carnivore seemed to do the trick and then I slowly put back foods to see what caused the bloating. Lost a bunch of weight and inches doing that with some intermittent fasting with time restricted eating and bone broth fasts. I will never go back to the SAD (standard American diet) again.

    You are a genius. I learned more from you in a few minutes than my stanford gi in 6 months treating my sibo. Just wondering why so many people starve the bacteria with the elemental diet and they have success but I heard you can't starve the bacteria it'll just come back so can you explain this I'm confused

    • @gutmicrobiomequeen
      @gutmicrobiomequeen  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yilmaz, I'm so glad you are benefiting from my videos and learning about your body! That is a fascinating, high-level question you pose! My theory is that the elemental diet acts as a sort of fasting mimicking diet and that there is a profound anti-inflammatory action that is more important than the bacteria starvation.

    • @affordableaquariumservices1663
      @affordableaquariumservices1663 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@gutmicrobiomequeen so you're saying that fasting and eating smaller more frequent meals instead of three big meals is better when you have sibo? by the way I just purchased multipro based on your video going to give it a shot.

    • @gutmicrobiomequeen
      @gutmicrobiomequeen  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Fasting is a definite yes for IBS and SIBO! Small frequent meals are a no-no and that tends to zap your motility. I wish you luck with the MotilPro! Keep in mind that if that one isn't helpful you have plenty more to choose from :)

    I’m not constipated but I’m so bloated. I’m about 11 months pregnant! I can’t sit and lay comfortably. I’m in so much pain that it’s aching in the ribs under my right arm. The skin on my belly has gone numb. I’m taking Buscopan for the spasms but it does nothing for lol this pain. I need sleep. 😭
