Dr Berg notes on this leaky gut episode: A very thin, single layer of cells acts as a barrier between the inside and the outside of your intestines. The intestines provide protection and absorption of 90 percent of all your nutrients. They also contain a mucus layer, microbes, and 80 percent of your immune system. Medical professionals typically recommend increased soluble fiber intake to fix leaky gut when you should actually do the opposite. The carnivore diet is the best leaky gut diet. More fiber creates more inflammation. Medical professionals also do not point to diet as a primary cause or solution of a leaky gut. Most diseases are triggered by something in your gut, which has everything to do with your diet. Broad-spectrum antibiotics can also affect gut health. Tampering with your gut microbiome can have serious consequences. You need the microbes in your gut to help you digest, and you don’t want them to become pathogenic. Glyphosate is an herbicide sprayed on most GMO and conventional foods patented as an antibiotic, so it has an antibiotic effect on your body. Whole grains are also recommended, but they can wreak havoc on a leaky gut and cause an immune reaction. Seed oils are another major contributor to leaky gut. Here are seven signs of a leaky gut: 1. Abdominal pain, cramping 2. Constipation, diarrhea 3. Fatigue 4. Brain fog 5. Mood issues, anxiety 6. Skin inflammation 7. Autoimmune diseases When you have an autoimmune response, your body considers normal tissues foreign or pathogenic. If your body sees your thyroid as an invader, your thyroid will become inflamed. This is known as Hashimoto’s and starts with inflammation and a leaky gut. The carnivore diet for a few months can help repair a leaky gut by removing the foods causing inflammation. Glutamine and glycine can also help with leaky gut repair. Thank you Dr Berg! 😺👍
I recently lost my wife because leaky gut and severe inflammation. She had all of those symptoms along with parasitic infections. We were told to go see a psychiatrist and would not help at all in part of our parasitic infection and prescribed prednisone for the inflammation I just lost my whole word because of incompetence in our so called healthcare system
@@gradycarter6473 I am so sorry. 😢 Sadly my opinion on most medical Doctors would not remain within polite parametres. I recently lost my mother due to similar conditions. It is appalling that these people are earning so much money and living such care free lives.☹️

I recently was diagnosed with leaky gut by a functional medicine doctor and we subsequently found out we had a hidden mold problem in our house that started slowly over a year ago. I’ve eaten healthy keto over 8 years now and was quite sick and surprised. We ended up doing a whole house remediation. Diet is very important but so is environment.
I have a very similar story, we had mold in a house we just moved into. I knew something was off when I was wheezing at night when laying down, I never had that before. We looked and found a window that was not installed properly so the rain just poured right in for years. We ripped the entire room out, new windows, walls sills and flooring. Then we went room by room gutting each room over the next 3 years. We only found one other small mold issue. Thankfully my husband is handy. We ate raw for 6 weeks and just needed more, we still do daily green smoothies and 50% raw. We also did anti-fungal meds we got from a walk in clinic. Its been 5 years since moving in and we are healthy with no issues. Even through the lock downs! God Bless.
Mold is tested through a urine sample in the body. Usually ochratoxin A is the mold spore found in water damaged places. Dr berg won't touch this subject I've asked numerous times. Even big hosp8tals like Rochester MN won't fuck with mold patients. If you have mold problems I'd r3commend justinhealth off of youtube or a naturopathy close to you. Google shoemaker protocol but above all else move to a clean space and get tested.
Before I was diagnosed with leaky gut, I had started eating only lean meats, vegetables, and occasional fruit. Even as i was eating "healthy", I was suffering from a severe form of histamine intolerance (caused by toxic mold in a house we immediately vacated) where every day I would have multiple episodes that consisted of diarreah, hot flashes, crazy high heart rate, dizziness, nausea, itchy eyes, sometimes a tingly tongue/lips. After nearly collapsing and having a psychotic break (i nearly started screaming uncontrollably from how severely my body was responding) from a really severe episode caused by eating a piece of jackfruit, my husband told me to go carnivore. I would do anything to never have an attack like that again. I have been eating carnivores for only four days, and those episodes gradually softened. Today was almost a normal day, and I am shocked and so grateful i took his advice. You are providing life-changing information, Dr. Berg. Please keep sharing this knowledge with the world in the simple, compassionate, clear way that you do.
I’ve been experiencing alot of what you mentioned the last week and I thought carnivore wasn’t good for histamine intolerance/mcas symptoms. It’s also disturbed my sleep so much and I feel so lost!
Can you please provide me more information on how the mold in your old home was affecting your health. Because I’m experiencing the same thing with the histamine intolerance. How did you heal?
since 10+ year I have been living in enormous emotional stress and I have developed IBS and later on hemorrhoids, enormous problems in the gut, allergies, malabsorption, tiredness, insomnia, anxiety, heartache and in consequence adrenal fatigue and the list went so long that I entered a terrible loop of being worried about my life. I gave up on toxic relationships, I started to prioritize my peace, sleep, hydration, taking nap during the day, doing massages, 18-20/6-4 intermittent fasting, liver cleansing with milk thristle, wormwood, no processed food, pure meat and veggies/fruits, fresh food only, omega-3, natural vit C, berberine, resveratrol, magnesium, sodium butyrate, colostrum, as I live in Poland and we have a great tradition of food fermentation I took the advantage of it. My gut started to heal. Thank you for all videos dr Berg, even though I am a biomedical PhD, so I know a lot about biology and nutrition - I always watch your videos and it keeps me going. All I want to emphasize is: PLEASE, take into account your emotional issues and stress or toxic environment - all that really keep all the issues being generated and even we take care of diet, we cancel all effort we try to put into the process of healing. Also parasite and microbiome imbalances were mostly the reason for my previous healing failure.
The milk issue relates to the way we process milk in the US. It's different if you drink it right from the cow. I'd like a video where you address this. People drank animal milk for thousands of years, but now it's a problem, because our government makes sure it's processed.
I agree with you, milk is a natural nutrient dense perfect food, the first food of many lives, how can it be causing damage now? It is because milk is altered, or because our gut microbiome is damaged. I healed from "intolerance" by drinking only natural milk and eating natural yogurt, this brings back to our bodies the milk processing good bacteria.
@@containedhurricanetoo many people are healed by drinking RAW milk ,raw A2/A2 milk to take your logic seriously.... Ten years ago I was finally diagnosed with gluten intolerance. This means that I had been poisoning myself continuously for decades and had all the symptoms described above, which got worse and worse before the diagnosis. Since then I have been gluten-free and the symptoms have disappeared or at least decreased significantly. I can only strongly advise anyone with unclear symptoms to get tested for intolerances!
What he was saying is that your gluten intolerance is a result of long time gut issues. So you need to heal your gut in order to address the root of the problem
Same here! My first diagnosis was IBS. Then three months after that diagnosis I had an emergency gallbladder removal. It’s all been downhill. I’m allergic to everything and peanuts and meat and gluten milk and milk and you name it a battle since. But I am on protein plant powder. I’m mixing milk and I feel much better! I have to self treat itself diagnosed myself because doctors are worthless, except Dr. Berg , lol I do take doctor Berg, TDCA DIGESTIVE ENZYME. i’m starting to feel much better.
@@linden5576 also taken out fuller here. I added digestive enzyme , as well as ox bile, and probiotics. Now my stool is perfect, and feel I can absorb much better than before.
Similar. I have celiacs. My family said "it's normal to fill the toilet bowl with blood every few days." If your family is abusive, it might be their fault, too. There's a strong correlation. It's amazing how the body changes when you're under constant stress.
When I first tried to “get healthy”, I made a lot of green smoothies. High in fiber and vegetables. I had so much gas and abdominal discomfort. I went carnivore for a little while, actually a year or so. My gut must’ve healed, I recently started making the same green smoothies, and I can tolerate them now without any gastrointestinal issues. Thanks Dr. Berg!
I got Leaky Gut around the young age of 16. Absolutely wild that this could happen to someone so young. My diet was pretty terrible when I was younger. I was eating all sorts of processed crap full of gluten and seed oils, and I didn't understand how to be healthy. I played a lot of sports so I think my parents just thought it was fine for me to eat all that bad food because I would "burn it off anyways." I had lots of acne and skin issues, and doctors prescribed me Accutane, which I suspect totally destroyed my gut. I had Leaky Gut, Candida, Parasites,.. all sorts of stuff. My gut bacteria was very imbalanced. It took me 13+ years to figure out what was going on and how to fix the issues. Thankfully, I'm now 35 and I have consistently clear, glowing skin. I've done blood work and stool tests and now know that my gut is in fairly good shape. I still have to avoid certain foods (A1 Dairy, Seed Oils, artificial sweeteners, thickening agents, etc) but it's all manageable now. Gut issues can be tough to fix! What a journey. Keep fighting.
It's crazy how others push towards consuming more fiber, while this video is the real answer to the problem. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos and after being on carnivore for 2 months, my TSH dropped for the first time ever, which is an indication of the validity of information presented here.
Dr. Berg literally helped me regain my life back! I eliminated wheat, oats, corn, rice, seed oils, and dairy and that’s when I started getting better. I am forever grateful!!!❤❤❤
I eliminated most of those, as well. The only grain I will eat now is the Food For Life Ezekiel 4:9 bread, and the only dairy I will eat is natural non-RBST cheese. I also don't eat pasta or consume any oils other than olive oil and avocado oil. I feel 100% better now than I did just 3 years ago. 😀

@@jsmit9161 No. I ate only vegetables for a long time, then another couple of years eating only meat, eggs, fish, and vegetables. I suffered the most on only vegetables. In fact, I suffered more eating only vegetables than I did the years before when I was eating a lot of processed junk. The ONLY way of eating that eliminates my suffering entirely is eating carnivore. We're all different, so by all means, do what works for you, but don't pretend you know what works for everyone. Carnivore works best for me and that's what I'll continue to do.
I have psoriasis. Several years ago I went completely vegan. My psoriasis cleared up in three months and I was psoriasis free during the three years I was vegan. I started to eat animal products after the three years and my psoriasis came back. I’m s confused with everything!!!
@ajinkyanagare6835 I second this, eggs and dairy are inflammatory. Except ghee is good - it's butterfat with lactose and casein filtered out. Stick with bone broth, organic and wild meats.
OMG. You're literally a genius Dr. Berg. So here's what I want to say. I am 38 now. I was born with allergies (dust and tree pollen) as I was born in the city which has the highest pollen count in the world. Born with blocked tear holes by the way. Allergies were not understood by my parents and they believed I had some evil eye or black magic or demon possession ongoing, even though a ENT specialist told my dad that this kid had dust allergy when I was 12. So, rewind a lil bit. From my early childhood my mom was giving us raw COW milk (as we had a cow) so from age 5 to 15 I consumed raw cow milk. On top of mouth breathing due to allergies I got some serious gastro issue when I was ony 11 and initially thought to have some ulcer but was finally diagnosed with INTESTINAL INFLAMMATION and got very good after being treated for that. The diet that genius who terated me at age 11 had almonds with pure butter (breakfast), vegetable curry with only black pepper and salt (lunch) with flat bread followed by fruits and (a must) and then finishing off that curry with spoon without bread at dinner. Then as I was not on allergy medicine for decades I finally got worse in 2018 breathing wise and mouth breath a lot in 2018 summers after an asthematic allergy attack and got GERD out of it. The reason why I called Dr. Berg a genius is that tomorrow is my apoointment with a gastroenterologist and I watched this vid for a better discussion and I am SHOCKEd to know that I actually have all SEVEN symptoms :( which are [abdominal pain (4 years), constipation diarrhea, fatigued (increasing yearly), brain fog (need to confirm), change in mood (very mild), skin issues (vitiligo and skull dandruff baldness), autoimmune disease]. Now here's what I want to add and may help others: Please pay attention to AUTOIMMUNE diseases. I got VITILIGO in 2014 after not paying attention to allergies at all and not worrying about gut health. Vitiligo is the end of the glory road you are on, So do not have it. GERD is also not something to have. If you mouth breath and have allergies and gut issues (gastro) please go see a doctor like Dr. Berg before it is too late :) I also have now pain in upper right shoulder (backside) and neck pain from 20 years and symptoms that indicate towards bile again Dr. Berg's vid helped me lot to understand those and now I can discuss these better tomorrow !
I'm in poverty and sick. On the brink of losing everything but I can't effectively work sick. I will do this carnivore diet and also see if the celery juice can help. I wanted to go back to vegan but I will trust Dr. Berg...today is Sunday 4/28/2024 I'll keep returning with progress. I'll also weigh in and take before and after photo
Im sure my leaky gut was caused by lectins. I ate peanut butter and peanuts almost every day. Suffered for about 3 years. When i stopped eating it, everything healed.
I was a meat eating fool, I quit eating red meat and processed foods, started taking glutamine and I feel amazing, wished I did it years ago! I’m not advocating this to anyone but simply stating that meat wasn’t the answer for me personally, jams things up if you get what I’m saying.
I know someone who had an incredible recovery from IBD by strictly following the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD). This person ate only meat, unprocessed aged cheese, fruits and vegetables. All symptoms disappeared; the prescribed medications only lessened the symptoms.
That's very interesting! I was already starting to think about how I could eat carnivore but still be able to eat plenty of carbs, so that I don't loose to much weight. The answer is fruit, obviously lol.
LECTINS I have leaky intestines and Autoimmune disease. I went on the autoimmune diet, which basically is an elimination (no pun intended) and the reintroduction of foods. There was a variety of problematic foods that seemed unrelated. A year later I discovered that the commonality between all the reactive foods is, LECTINS.
5 out of 7 signs and now I figure it out, leaky gut. I just can't control eating until I have the worst heat rash-like episode. Thanks again, now I know what to do.
This is a big one for me, very important, being a person with psoriasis for a long time. Losing a healthy small and/or large intestine wall is the gateway to all kinds of inflammation, at least that is my opinion. All your videos are great but this one is key. Good to hear someone else talk about this.
I had to take antibiotic for 15 days from an infection in my jaw from two bad teeth I finally got removed. I had been working on my gut biome for the last 4 years and was so bummed out that I had to destroy all that. I had a gut ache the entire time. It has taken me almost two weeks to get back to my new normal.
This is very timely information as my friend is looking for ways to deal with her mom's leaky gut. The doctor gave her antibiotics, but I worry about the results from this treatment. I will share this video with her now.
That's very bad, antibiotics destroy the gut microbiome. Probiotics are needed urgently. They allow leaky gut to heal completely, along with a natural sugar free gut repair diet.
They gave me that too. It doesn't work. Three weeks of this and it didn't work. It had to go away on it's own. Glutamine, and glycine does help, and for me spirulina.
Exactly and you're totally right, Dr Berg. Gut microbiome plays a fundamental role within body function, it should be healthy and properly balanced, the least we want to do is to mess with that. Thank you for all your insightful throughly well researched and helpful advice 🙏🏻
There are also other common factors that can trigger leaky gut. One of them is Vitamin B1 deficiency, along with consuming too much coffee and alcohol. In addition to maintaining a good diet, incorporating probiotics is also very important.
Hey everyone if I may..I did keto, carnivore, fodmap etc. and let me tell you begin with removing gluten give it time and remember gluten is in so many things to my surprised I didn’t realize all the issues I was having was gluten test results was coming back negative and I would get brushed off by doctors and I realized it’s ok to doubt yourself but write your symptoms down all these things he listed was symptoms I had and so many more and I stopped gluten and within days I was feeling amazing I can’t wait to see how much progress I’ll make but I don’t wish this on anyone please people start with your food if you can’t fast or try diets at least stop the gluten and work your way..if any questions or concerns I’ll respond in the comments section about my experience good luck and stay gluten free

This is good and valuable information. Honestly if you get in tune with, and listen to your own body, it will tell you what to eat. Certain foods will bloat or cramp you when you eat it. You can feel it disturb your digestive system. For me eating clean vegetables and fruit help my digestive tract. Also drinking more water (recommended amount) to flush my system.
I have had IBS to fatty liver and many more problems and controlling diets and all I tried nothing has given me the relief. Fasting for 58hrs once was the only relief I had once in 20years. I was a healthy teenage once and now just getting out of bed is hard

I was on the carnivore diet for 3 months and it did nothing for my healing. I just read a book called The Tiger Protocol and he talks about the importance of fiber in healing the gut and aims for essentially as much as you can get. Hi Dr, when you already suffer from constipation due to gut issue and leaky gut, then going on carnivore diet and eating only meat etc wouldn’t it make constipation even worse?
When you mention the Gut Brain Axis…this is a fascinating, ultra-complex subject just in itself! Amazing what science is revealing about the importance of our amazing guts!
Hey Dr. Berg. What would you recommend for post covid gastrointestinal issues? Red meat, glutamine, and glycine? The only thing that helps with the bloating is kombucha. It’s getting annoying now, it just won’t go away.
Hi I have severe constipation. Functional dyspepsia and I suffer on a daily. I can't get out of bed & I hardly eat bcz I'm scared of the pain. I've spent a fortune on consultants, supplements & other treatments with no success. I watched a video today & he said it's bcz of leaky gut issues & to take a soil based probiotic or both pre & pro biotic which should contain Lactobacillus paracasei Bifidobacterium breve Bifidobacterium longum and get omega 3. I'm going to start these and hope for the best 🙏
Great show! I have had my leaky gut tested every year for 3 years now. I do vibrant intestinal permeability test. It keeps getting better but still says I’m moderate. I’ve given up gluten, dairy, corn, wheat and all processed foods. I haven’t eaten any of these in 3 years.. I have now given up Almond flour because I feel that could be the problem. I don’t think I can eat all carnivore and also our meat can be bad too. They feed and inject the animals with antibiotics as well. Make sure you buy pasture raised pasture finished.
I completely reversed a *severe asthmatic response to histamine* in 6 months by IF and prolonged (3- to 5-day fasts, mostly water fasts and a few soft dry) and overhauling my diet to be mostly low carb and all whole omnivorous, organic (for the most part) foods. I assumed that meant I healed my leaky gut, but I still have rosacea (skin disorder) and I can't eat eggs - those are the only symptoms on this list I have. I'm completely befuddled. P.S. Maybe I've not been careful enough to eliminate eggs completely from my diet and that's causing my rosacea. But why am I still sensitive to ANY food if I've healed my leaky gut? Can you have food sensitivity _without_ leaky gut?!
Hi, Dr. Berg! Can you do a video explaining why certain tissues are specifically targeted in an autoimmune disease? For instance, I have a rare autoimmune disease called Takayasu’s arteritis. It targets my large arteries - aorta, carotid, renal, subclavian… why did my body choose to create antibodies against those areas specifically? Do specific food allergens correlate to that tissue? Thank you for all of the wonderful information! It is incredibly helpful… God bless you…
@goodybaker9483 I'm really sorry to hear about your experience with Takayasu’s arteritis Autoimmune diseases, like Takayasu’s, are complex, and why certain tissues or organs are targeted can vary from person to person. In your case, the immune system is mistakenly attacking large arteries, which can lead to inflammation and narrowing of those vessels. While the exact cause isn’t always clear, research suggests that sometimes gut imbalances could, in theory, play a role in how the immune system becomes dysregulated, though more research is needed to fully understand those connections. Working on gut health, reducing inflammatory triggers, and addressing any potential food sensitivities can sometimes provide relief or at least help manage symptoms. Are you still suffering?
Can you recommend any references to find out what could be causing a lot of body and head pain? The person in question has already been carnivore for a few years but uses medicinal teas to help manage the symptoms.
I’m having an anxiety attack listening to Dr. Berg, speak on this topic. I could’ve corrected so easily if I would’ve known… Finding root causes versus being ‘slapped’ with three different medication’s ? Thank god for Dr. Berg🎉 EveryBody’s friend!
😮 I suffered leaky gut until a month or so after giving up grains, dairy, soy, and GMOs. I had chrinic bladder infections because of it, and constant stomach and back pain.
@Dr. Eric Berg DC I have been drinking raw cows milk from a local farm and my symptoms have improved. I have been getting a few acne popups on my back but my skin overall has improved quite drastically and I have been gaining some much needed weight!
This reminds me of my situation. I went to my doctor and told her I was having gut issues so she referred me to a gastroenterologist to get a colonoscopy. I go through the colonoscopy and they find nothing. I talk to the gastroenterologist afterwards and her only advice is that I should take some Benefiber 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ All of that for absolutely nothing
I have Hashimoto's and I have been testing myself over and over. It appears that for me that animal fats it the culprit for my body to develop TPO antibodies against my thyroid. I can't eat dairy (milk and cheese), or bacon, and sausage, or processed meats. I think I have to eat very lean meat but I am scared to eat it. I am eating chicken fried oysters cooked in olive oil to get zinc.
Sadly some people have big problems digesting meats, like me. No matter how it's cooked or if it's organic. Also I can't tolerate ox bile, betaine HCL or digestive enzymes. So I can't do carnivore, if I don't want to feel like crap all the time. So the only way has been to heal my gut with other ways like bone broth fast and/or juicing. And of course avoiding all problematic foods like grains, dairy, nighshades etc. I was eating tons of quinoa for a decade because I thought it's healthy but as I'm gluten sensitive I discovered this "grain" can be a huge problem for many people and cause leaky gut. So I finally got rid of all grains.
The problem with the carnivore diet is it is extremely expensive. Especially now with inflation. I was on it for a few months, but it just wasn't sustainable. I couldn't find a way to make it cheaper without going for the worst antibiotic filled meats and processed meats.
But aren't the veggies or plant based products you're eating also sprayed with glyphosate and other crap? Imo and as someone who has severe IBS, a cheap carnivore or low carb diet is still the better option.
@@JessG_20 I think that depends on where you're getting them, same with the meats. To get something that isn't riddled with all the pesticides and hormones is more than twice the cost in some cases. And inflation is just making it worse. For example, I go to the store to get a cut of meat, a single steak, not too large, is still around $16 for the just-okay-stuff. That same size piece of meat free of all the hormones automagically jumps to $18-$20. That's a lot to spend on one person for one meal. It's cheaper, and encouraged in todays society, to eat like shit.
I ate a triple cheese burger the other day and it cleaned up my leaky gut symptoms. Wouldn't recommend doing it too much. Too much can probably cause colon cancer but it was crazy how fast the symptoms stopped.
Are ulcers also "leaky gut"? They diagnosed me with psoriatic arthritis and gave me celebrex for imflamation but a side effect of celebrex is "perferation in you gut or intestines".
Ive been carnivore for over a year (with "cheat" days once a month for special occasions) and I'm still having issues. Idk what to do, i've tried everything it seems
Dr Berg notes on this leaky gut episode:
A very thin, single layer of cells acts as a barrier between the inside and the outside of your intestines.
Here are seven signs of a leaky gut:
1. Abdominal pain, cramping
2. Constipation, diarrhea
3. Fatigue
4. Brain fog
5. Mood issues, anxiety
6. Skin inflammation
7. Autoimmune diseases
When you have an autoimmune response, your body considers normal tissues foreign or pathogenic.

Carnivore might be the Best method. But the Dr Grundy Lectin Free Diet worked for me and a lot of people too and is way easier.

Its been 5 years since moving in and we are healthy with no issues. Even through the lock downs! God Bless.
@@userofyoutube123 I was told the lymes test is the same blood test that is used for mold.
Give me like idea what you had for breakfast lunch and dinner today so i can better understand
I am having the same issue always constipation and anxiety as well gastritis
What did you do for the parasites
Could u please guide me how to cure leaky gut and Ibs C as I have been facing this since 2018 and since last 6 months my weight reduced 15kg ..😢
@@tameishalcampbell i use pumpkin seeds on the daily. But make sure they are not from china.
she's right it's parasite but in order to get them out you also need to take olive leaf extract and garlic and get rid of the eggs
The milk issue relates to the way we process milk in the US. It's different if you drink it right from the cow. I'd like a video where you address this. People drank animal milk for thousands of years, but now it's a problem, because our government makes sure it's processed.
Milk is pasteurized because of the long supply chain and human is the only animal that drinks milk after the infant stage
No it's NOT the wheat 🙄 It's the chemical called Roundup they spray the crops with before the cut the wheat so it doesn't dull the blades 🙄😖
Berg , lol
I do take doctor Berg, TDCA DIGESTIVE ENZYME. i’m starting to feel much better.
@@linden5576 also taken out fuller here. I added digestive enzyme , as well as ox bile, and probiotics. Now my stool is perfect, and feel I can absorb much better than before.
Similar. I have celiacs. My family said "it's normal to fill the toilet bowl with blood every few days."
If your family is abusive, it might be their fault, too.
Plzzz tell me i have leaky gut aswell i m triying to cut all of bad food but still have inflamation you gut is perfectly fine or you still deiting
Please tell us how you got better. What protocol did you do? I’m dealing with the same issue
Not even one gastroenterologist gave this clarity and may have knowledge.
Wonderful! Glad to help!

Did you do the carnivore diet? Did it help? How are you doing?
Im sure my leaky gut was caused by lectins. I ate peanut butter and peanuts almost every day. Suffered for about 3 years. When i stopped eating it, everything healed.
Arent lectins supposed to be healthy? I'm questioning everything now..
Lectins damage the gut, especially when it is already previously weakened.
My health changed dramatically (for the better) as soon as I eliminated peanut butter and apples from my daily diet.
Probably right! Good for you! Peanuts are full of mold.

I know someone who had an incredible recovery from IBD by strictly following the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD). This person ate only meat, unprocessed aged cheese, fruits and vegetables. All symptoms disappeared; the prescribed medications only lessened the symptoms.
That's true. I followed this and I feel better.
I followed SCD for my daughter who had undiagnosed bowel issues after a viral infection, symptoms gone in 10 days
Even used to make the yoghurt at the prescribed temperature and time
the question is did the symptoms came back after he introduced carbs?
That's very interesting! I was already starting to think about how I could eat carnivore but still be able to eat plenty of carbs, so that I don't loose to much weight. The answer is fruit, obviously lol.
LECTINS I have leaky intestines and Autoimmune disease. I went on the autoimmune diet, which basically is an elimination (no pun intended) and the reintroduction of foods. There was a variety of problematic foods that seemed unrelated. A year later I discovered that the commonality between all the reactive foods is, LECTINS.

The antibiotics destroy the gut microbiome. Probiotics are urgently needed, with a repair diet like gaps diet or keto.
The only way to really fix leaky gut is probiotics, in fermented foods or probiotic supplements.

Can you make a video on why people urinate beetroot colour urine after eating betroot
beturia 🤔
What age is it ok to start drinking milk? @ 4:14.
Love the line 'you don't want to piss them off' (the healthy gut biome).
I ate a triple cheese burger the other day and it cleaned up my leaky gut symptoms. Wouldn't recommend doing it too much. Too much can probably cause colon cancer but it was crazy how fast the symptoms stopped.
That’s all I eat all the time! Carnivore baby!
Did you eat it with the bun?
@@susieqsevenable most times no but sometimes out with kids I do once in a while. So I guess I’m not strict carnivore
@@susieqsevenable I did but normally limit bread and rolls.
Are ulcers also "leaky gut"? They diagnosed me with psoriatic arthritis and gave me celebrex for imflamation but a side effect of celebrex is "perferation in you gut or intestines".
I got the first 4 items for sure and I got to figure out what is causing it. I got to get on carnivora diet to start.
Ive been carnivore for over a year (with "cheat" days once a month for special occasions) and I'm still having issues. Idk what to do, i've tried everything it seems
Same…
