I usually agree with your analysis, with a few occasional exceptions ofc. You tend to gave rly good insight into the psychology of the characters and situations. That blake issue though, I couldnt disagree more. It doesn't matter whether Blake cognitively understands that Yang is almost certainly innocent. She can't truly believe her easily because of her major trust issues due to past abuse. She also didn't project a damn thing, she just said she had trouble trusting. That's so completely understandable in her situations. Emotions don't always line up with what you rationally understand in the moment, and Blake is triggered in this scene by Yang asking her to believe in her. Which Adam also did. Blake knows the situation is different but the old emotions will surface anyway. Blake took the situation slowly, explained herself, calmed herself, then moved past the emotions and believed her friend. Amazingly well handled. Good for her.
God this hurts the second time around. Also to note, RWBY had the regular release schedule of an episode a week. These episodes and waits in between were BRUTAL for the FNDM when we realized this series was not afraid of offing characters. You could feel the hysteria from the community during this period.

Like, what she saw - what everyone saw - was Mercury going up to Yang to shake her hand for winning or something, and then Yang, turning around to break his leg. To ask someone to believe the opposite, over everyone else in the world and live video evidence, can be akin to GASLIGHTING, I'd even say. And she definitely knows how that feels. I don't blame her that this is a difficult pill to swallow. As a hurt person, I totally get Blake, but her making the conversation about her - and her pain - it's not what's needed. Right now, they're in this room to comfort Yang, not comfort her. Right? It's not fair to Yang either who didn't agree to be her therapist or her savior. Even if it wasn't instant, Blake should have said, "Yeah, no totally believe you, trust." and then in private, have a one-on-one convo about it, just like Yang did with her in V2. But, I get that that's not what happened, I ain't gonna attempt to know better, and Blake not trusting her immediately did get us Yang's tearful "Blake??" that STILL breaks my heart, and I love the VA and visuals for doing that to me.
I'm the kind of guy who loves a good house of cards fall down. The whole setting was an extremely elaborate explosive contraption, rigged to go off spectacularly - and the writers weren't afraid to light the fuse and let us enjoy the fireworks. The next episodes have some of the most impressive displays of skill in at the very least the earlier part of the series, if not the whole franchise. Especially the fight on top of Beacon Tower is insane if you consider that you have to scale the skill to the raw power on display!

Some of the best parts of RWBY. The only thing that bothered me, was why were all the audience panicking and running away, a lot of them were students from different Hunter Academies. Why were all of them running, why didn't some try to fight similar to the main and side cast. The only story reason I can think of is for the series to show us the difference between The RWBY characters and the average hunters. Also now that I think about it, what happened to the professors, they just disappear when RWBY showed up again, it couldn't have been long if Ruby was able to rush to the platform with her semblance? But RWBY is definitely in my TOP 10 most enjoyable shows to watch.
Ya know, the conversation between Qrow and Yang always confused me. Yang says she thinks she saw her mom, because of seeing the sword. But, at the end of V2, Raven and Yang did meet and talk. Raven pulls off her mask and says they have a lot to discuss. But here, it's like Yang never talked to her.
Hm, i wonder how this Tournament would’ve went if Cinder and her Faction hadn’t managed to interfere, at least not to the extent that they did? Also, i didn’t think much about it at first, but now, while this whole invasion was presented pretty well and it was well done, i feel like Cinder and her fellows pulled all of this off a little too well, like I think this went a little too easy for them and now i wonder how things could’ve gone differently, like if we could’ve had one more Volume at Beacon before the Fall? All that being said, they did very well with this entire Finale Section, it is my favorite part of Volume for a reason after all, just kind of wish it could’ve been longer though, but well done nonetheless.

With no reason for suspicion beforehand, any info they’d need for the tournament like semblances would come from (doctored) school records. And it’s not really that weird to not show a semblance in a tournament, given you have semblances that are useless in a huntsman v huntsman fight (like Ren’s), only show in niche circumstances (like Nora’s), and some people even just refuse to use them most of the time (like Neptune or Yatsuhashi)

Some of the best parts of RWBY. The only thing that bothered me, was why were all the audience panicking and running away, a lot of them were students from different Hunter Academies. Why were all of them running, why didn't some try to fight similar to the main and side cast.
The only story reason I can think of is for the series to show us the difference between The RWBY characters and the average hunters.
Also now that I think about it, what happened to the professors, they just disappear when RWBY showed up again, it couldn't have been long if Ruby was able to rush to the platform with her semblance?
But RWBY is definitely in my TOP 10 most enjoyable shows to watch.
Ya know, the conversation between Qrow and Yang always confused me. Yang says she thinks she saw her mom, because of seeing the sword. But, at the end of V2, Raven and Yang did meet and talk. Raven pulls off her mask and says they have a lot to discuss.
But here, it's like Yang never talked to her.

Hm, i wonder how this Tournament would’ve went if Cinder and her Faction hadn’t managed to interfere, at least not to the extent that they did?
Also, i didn’t think much about it at first, but now, while this whole invasion was presented pretty well and it was well done, i feel like Cinder and her fellows pulled all of this off a little too well, like I think this went a little too easy for them and now i wonder how things could’ve gone differently, like if we could’ve had one more Volume at Beacon before the Fall?
All that being said, they did very well with this entire Finale Section, it is my favorite part of Volume for a reason after all, just kind of wish it could’ve been longer though, but well done nonetheless.

It's crazy how in a world with semblances, checking what Emerald's semblance is is not the first fking thing we're doing. Like, come on, the fact she's friends with Mercury and she hasn't showed what it is yet is sus AF. And there's actually a witness. Coco knows is hallucinations. I swear most adults in this show are so incompetent for the plot's sake. Cinder could scream at their faces she's the villain and they'd arrange a meeting to discuss it.
This is just me speculating, but it's possible she had faked having a different semblence.
@@simonO712 Yeah, with a semblance like illusions, it seems pretty easy work to just pretend to one person (two if she tried), "Hey look I can wield fire" or maybe a useless semblance so she wouldn't have to justify not using it in a match, or something.

Just a while ago they let a hacker into their most secure facilities and they checked shit after she left when she obviously messed with something. Ozpin always tries to give out wise vibes but I think he's quite retarded TBH. And knowing about his background, it's a crime he's so unprepared for everything. A great season, nitpicking aside.
@@simonO712 Actually I don't think she can do that. She'd need to be creating images in everybody's minds at once and there must be a reason why she tricks one person into doing something and not everyone else into watching that person do it.
With no reason for suspicion beforehand, any info they’d need for the tournament like semblances would come from (doctored) school records. And it’s not really that weird to not show a semblance in a tournament, given you have semblances that are useless in a huntsman v huntsman fight (like Ren’s), only show in niche circumstances (like Nora’s), and some people even just refuse to use them most of the time (like Neptune or Yatsuhashi)

@@RotaAbyssian It is kind of a misdirect with Professor Port at least, because he's so much of a blowhard bragging about his past adventures that it's clear the narrative is telling you he's all talk, so it's kind of a subversion of expectations when it turns out he actually is all that.
