Iv owned two foxes and two new edges and while a fox will always hold a special place in my heart, I'm a new edge/sn95 fella. They are just so comfortable for me. My next one will be a 96-98. I even love the weak little 4.6 sohc. Put a good too end on one and they are tons of fun. Add a built bottom end and boost, you gotta pretty sweet hot rod! Coyote swaps are still too much money for me and difficult to do in the driveway

I own a couple Coyote cars now but DAMN I love me a New Edge!!! Bought one brand new in 02', ex-wife still owns it. With bolt ons it went 12.61@109!!! 4r70w car and a 3200 PI converter alone dropped 7 tenths off that thing!!!
How much did you get it for? Just found one for 3k. 165k miles, manual. Only bad thing is someone gave it a red spray paint special on the interior plastic and the driver seat is ripped up
Lord in heaven! Realy?? The whole bunch of those 2004-2014 new edge/old edge Mustangs are sinfully UGLY!! They lack any form of character, the interior is so bloody cheap that if you live in a Southern state, the seat cushion will rot in the sun, the door handles break-off, the paint doesn't last nearly as long as it should, transmissions are known not to last, the cooling system on the V6 is a known joke; a quandary at best! Hey all you New Edge freaks, I do have a 1999 Mustang V6, Auto., it's rust and dent free, silver over dark grey cloth (I am a bit color blind), 97k and it's as clean inside and out as the best 25 or so year old car. Everythings new!!! I wasn't lying to you above; however, THE ENGINE SEIZED; $650-ish for guaranteed under 150k donor & $1,175 is my best price from known and skilled mechanic. I'd like to rebuild the original engine but I will never, ever have the time! Best cash offer takes car- car is as described; however, it's not flawless and how could it be when its built so cheaply! Sorry if my words above weren't kind and cheerful; you gotta please try to understand my frustration with that Bastard parked outside!!!
You better of got these old new edge mustangs cheap because if you didn't an don't know how to work on em they'll drain your bank account an your 401 k because these cars are not only old they need 1000 s of dollars of repairs including interior work I'm a expert on this I got an 01 cobra an it's in really an I mean really nice shape it's a convertable mineral gray an the only thing in the interior that's not factory showroom shape is the passenger front seat an I don't think it had evev been sat in as the back seat an the driver's seat when I bought the car was in very good shape I mean the bottom was a little ruffled but the back was still like brand.new any way I've had the car 12 years an its cost me a lot of money an I mean lot of money to keep it up sence this September its cost me 4000 dollars for a tune up yal 3 coils went bad an two new heater hoses coming out of the firewall an now when they had it in in lift it needs an oil cooler an they lisson to this they got ahold of the only brand new ford motor craft oil cooler left original yes I only put factory Ford parts but that oil cooler alone was 600 dollars yal I know buy an aftermarket no way because if I can get factory cobra ford parts I get em an especially if it's the last an only one left on the shelf even if that cooler is 200 more than the aftermarket an struts for trunk deck same thing when I had them order trunk struts for my 01 cobra an yal you guest it they came from Detroit an only two pairs left original factory stock yal on my cobra is all the way or no way one more thing the back trunk stop lite wmhad a lot of little cracks in it from slamming it all these years so I had the dealer order a new ford of course tail trunk stop lite that was 5 years ago an just to make my point clearer an why it ford factory only parts ok now lisson the body an paint on my cobra is in close to perfect shape but when I put on that new Brite red an I mean Brite red tail stop lite in an stood back it finished the car I mean that made the car look so perfect like it had h Just came off assemble line an yes I've seen aftermarket tail stop lites on my friends cars an people compared to mine they look like they got em off a faded lite car an also my one friend didn't believe me when I told him my tail stop lite was a new original ford part but then I told him look on the right side lower corner of the lite an there it is the ford logo circled any it takes a lot of money to keep these cars up nice an I've put other money in other stuff it needed ab yes no end I now want to get rid of the cobra an it's nice an oh yes it's got the best clutch you can buy in it nothing better an you all know from the 01 cobras to the 03 an 04 terminators are all walker drainers when it comes to clutches .

not bad, i bought one for 4k but the body has 250k miles. i think the motor was rebuilt 80,000 miles ago or so
