    All the airfields on the north coast of France are subject to sea mist, the whole of the U.K. can be CAVOK as can most of France. A few years back I left a cloudless summers day in the U.K. to arrive at LFAT for three trips around the LT hold and an ILS.

      I have an ir(r) so can fly an ILS but only in this country. I think it's time to upgrade to the full IR.

      @@FamilyFlyouts the IR is worth doing but make sure that your training provider has aircraft capable of PBN, usually the provision of data bases is the issue
