This is the best butter I have ever made! It’s not too greasy it just melts in your skin. Oh my gosh I made almond lavender butter I used almond bakery emulsion for the nutty smell. A little goes a long way of emulsions.
Im so happy to hear it turned out great! Sounds like it smells delicious. Thanks for watching 😊

Hi! I also add: Apricot oil, buriti, oil, cranberry oil, granate apple oil, duindoornoilie, and passion fruit oils, for the softer skin, and getting rid of aging!
I'm wondering what consistency you were going for. I whipped mine for about 20 to 25 minutes and it turned out too liquidy. I placed it in the fridge to get it not so liquid but it's still more liquidy than I wanted. I will say though that I didn't have any arrowroot powder to add so I used colloidal oatmeal.
Cocoa butter is harder than mango butter so you will probably get a harder result but you can certainly use cocoa butter instead if you would like. Thanks for asking.
I thought it was going to be too liquid but once whipped and put in jar it had the right texture. I also substitute Lavender oil because didn't have sweet almond oil. It was lovely. thank you
About the SHEA BUTTER: It's in preferrence!!! It's either, you're a yellow lover , or white!!! I very like the YELLOW one, because, it smells soooo good, and the nutrients are all in there, just like Mother Nature gave it to us!!!! I so so so SHEA BUTTER from GHANA AFRIKA!!!! You guys are so "beautiful", since you've been using that butter!!! I mean, you're already beautiful without it, but, you shine with this butter more......And, that I can also use it for my skin is a bonus!!!!LOVE YOU GUYSSS FROM GHANA!!!!!
Hi! I have never used coffee butter before so not sure about the texture and i know cocoa butter is much more firm than mango butter so u will probably get a final product that more form. But i would say to try them out and see what you get you might love the outcome ☺️
Ohhh I need to try this ! Can I use 3oz of apricot kernel oil instead of sweet almond oil ? Would love to make this for my business but I know some people are allergic to nuts . But also if I want to put fragrance in it , how many oz would I put in it ?
Different butters have different recommended temperatures that you should avoid going above when melting to prevent the loss of nutrients. So as long as you stay under that temperature your butter should be good.
Would you use a preservative to allow it to last 1 year on the shelf and not have bacteria? If so, how much of the preservative would you use and which one?
Well the butters take longer to melt than the oils to get hot so if you boiling all together at the same time the oils will lose its properties. What a waste
6oz mango butter 6oz of Shea butter. 3oz of jojoba oil. 3oz of sweet almond oil. Melt butters together on stove top, low heat. Low heat the oils separately. Add all together once slightly cooler to a mixer bowl, put in freezer til reaches the texture she showed, looks hard but not. Remove from freezer and mix with your mixer and hand beater starting on low and gradually increase. In the middle of gradually add 3 tbsps of arrowroot powder, still mixing after each add. Then add vitamin E oil, about 20 drops equals 1 ml. Then if you want to, add a skin safe Essential oil for fragrance. She did not. I'm adding vanilla to the batch I'm currently working on.
Great video! I am wanting to take a whipped body butter recipe and add zinc oxide to make sunscreen. Do you think this particular recipe will work? I'm going to try it this weekend! I am excited. The last one I tried didn't have arrowroot so it was greasy but your recipe is awesome. Thanks
The shelf life on this would be good as long as the expiration date is on the oils. That’s what I would use to measure my shelf life because I didn’t use a preservative. Since there’s no water only oils and butter you really don’t need a preservative. I have a customer that has had for about 2 years or more
Hi! Thank for watching, i don’t use a preservative when i mix using only butters and oils. And like someone mentioned in the comments check the expiration of the oils u use 🤓
Just saw this great video and your question. Has anyone responded already that Vitamin E is a natural preservative?! I put it in all of my soaps and butters. 💖 Happy Holidays!
Thank you. Many others that make body care products add preservatives. I’m just learning. Are preservatives necessary? I see you don’t add them. Thanks🌹
For emulsified body butters when water is added, a preservative is necessary, but for body butters with no water (or ingredients that contain water) it's not necessary ☺️
I just saw this Chanel now sis, please i want to try this out but i only can measure in grams, so can i do 50g each for both butters? And 50ml each for both oils and 2 table spoons for the arrowroot power? Then 1ml for the vitamin E oil and essential oil? Thanks for your quick response sis. Your got a new subscriber here.
This is best video on the internet. We appreciate you and used your link to purchase some products. Question: If you wanted to add fragrance, do you add when the vitamin E is added? And what percent? #newsubscriber
Thanks. I add the fragrance towards the end usually after the vitamin e but you can add it before. As far a the percentage, it really depends on the fragrance oil it's normally listed on the package what percentage to add...normally about 1 %, but it best to follow the manufacture instructions ☺️
@@ReneeBarnettTV Thank you so much. Last question, if I use Vitamin T - 50, do I still need to a preservative to prevent contamination if left in a damp environment like a bathroom?

This body butter will last up to 6 months. You can add a preservative if you like but its not necessary since there is no water in the ingredients. Thanks for watching 😊

Doesnt freezing the body butter cause water to form afterwards while whipping? Thus should it not require a preservative?
Isn’t warming the oil taking out/removing good nutrients that we want to keep in the butter?
Different butters have different recommended temperatures that you should avoid going above when melting to prevent the loss of nutrients. So as long as you stay under that temperature your butter should be good.
I still have very greasy feeling on the skin and hard to absorbed by skin. Prefere creams over butter.
This is amazing can I ask how its stored please and how long it would last
I store it with the rest of my lotions, but if your area is extremely hot them storing is in the refrigerator is an option.
