Just testing out the sampling capability. would it be possible to mount EG Pulse into AUM as an effect unit similar to koala and DigiStix so one can sample into it..👍

Lots of stuff here. Second time through and still haven't got it all. Few questions though. Is there any way to assign different fills to different patterns? Tried everything I could think of but it would either repeat the 2 fills that I made or do the same one for each pattern I tried to assign it to. Never could get the mic to record. Kept crashing the app. When using it as an AUv3 in AUM, is there any way to get them both to start at the same time? When I try to punch it in the timing is always a little off. Any way to export a "song"? See what else I can think of tomorrow.
Hi Slim, you can only assign one fill at a time, however if you have a bunch of fills programmed you just hold the big fill button and when you want the fill to come in you hit the pattern number you want, the mic record is a bug and will get fixed. There is no export song option, you just need to record it into the DAW. Make sure you open EG Pulse an an AUv3 inside AUM, if you have the Standalone version of Pulse open, close it. If you look at the interface in EG Pulse when it’s open inside AUM you will see an extra button has appeared in the row where the FILES icon and SETTINGS icon are and it says something like Host Sync, make sure that is switched on. Then you can use AUMs transport and tempo options to control EG Pulse. Hope all this helps 😎👍
@@TheSoundTestRoom Heavens Yes that helps Doug. I can work around the fill thing by not using the fill button at all. Just when I am recording a loop I can just hit the pattern select for the fill right before I want it to play. Using Dean's AUM Loop technique I can punch the Record button to stop the recording and still get it all in. If that makes any sense. With my background it's much easier to punch in and out then to try to program it. Of course a song export in .wav format would make the whole process simpler (nod, nod, wink, wink) Do love some of the sampler options. Might use it for that more then anything else. Talk again soon. I can't change the kits! Every time I tap on a kit, the app crashes. Can anybody give me some advice? I've tried to edit the pads and tried the different kits, so I know they're on my iPad, but trying to change them from the list crashes the app. Help!!!
Could you please tell me, if i wanna use this under AUM, can i easily import my own samples other than drag n drop? Unfortunately that feature is not supported on my Air1 :(
Is it possible to play the drum kits in Pulse using the patterns via midi from the Lumbeat drum apps inside of Audiobus? I.e. using the patterns/random fills etc from Lumbeat with the kit sounds from Pulse. I use the Lumbeat drum apps with a 4 pedal bluetooth/midi controller but I have issues with some of the kit sounds in the Lumbeat apps so looking for other kit sounds.
Same old story- bought the app on a whim, looked for a Doug tutorial, and there it was. Thanks- will have some fun with it now…

Why does it slow the pitch down and speed up when playing in keys mode? It should keep the duration while changing pitch….
