Creating an Export Template - CustomCat App Tutorial

To create an export template within your CustomCat account, you’ll begin by selecting the store you’re creating the template for.
Next, click “Add Product” to begin building your template.
Select the products you’d like to add to your template. For the purposes of this tutorial, we’re going to select an 11oz & 15oz white mug.
On the next page, you’ll add a design to your products & edit the product details so they’re exactly what you want to see in your template.
For instance, we’re going to change our product name & add tags that are specific to our product & niche.
Next, select each of the products. In this example, we’d like these products to be grouped in our template so they’re exported in one listing.
From the Actions menu, we’ll select “Group Products.” Next, we’ll name our group & adjust our product descriptions.
Moving back to the Actions menu, we’ll now select “Save Export Template.” Notice there is now a star at the bottom of each item you selected for the template.
To save your Export Template, you’ll export the products to your store.
After export, you’ll see a new template in your list, named with the date & time of the export.
You can edit the name of the template by clicking the Edit button next to the title.
And that’s it! You’ve now created a brand new Export Template for your store in your CustomCat account.

I followed these instructions, the template saved, but there were no products in the template when I went back to add a variant??

Hi Sadie -- we're sorry to hear that! Our technical support team may need to take a closer look to identify the source of the issue. Please send us an email at [e-mail] with your store URL & the products that were supposed to be within the template so they can get to the bottom of it.
