Now finally I've found a good video simply showing how it's done and how it looks. I got my MT09 (RN43) in Tech Black last year. Got me some GT mirrors by PUIG, their clutch and front brake racing handles and footrests.. A shortened license plate holder was already installed by the dealer, only adding the cost of the item itself (they had a checklist, no extra installing cost, only paying for the items).. Damn it is really a nice combination they've designed there. But I am still not sure about ordering and installing the lcd flip because I have an extended warranty.. Gotta ask my dealer first since I am going to have the annual inspection in April anyway. I honestly never liked how the MT09 (RN29) just had the same headlight as the MT-07.. But I got to admit that your glossy black from this video is looking very fancy. In combination with your mirrors and the windshield, it is looking perfected. And that's the only RN29 I really like to look at. Greetings and big thanks from Germany.
go to a local hardware store and pick up some pieces of copper tubing... then you can cut them with a pipe cutter and when you put them into the bar you can put your mirror on the open section between your bar and the bar end then just screw the bar end on and you have the factory bar ends with bar end mirrors. did this on my fz07 and it kept any vibrations to a minimum.

Apply films like screen protectors or the polarising film in your bathroom, after a nice, hot shower. The moisture in the air prevents contaminates from landing on your screen.

FYI it's not that smart to remove the original bar ends, since they work as a stabilizer. You probably felt that they are kind of heavy, that's why. It's tends to wobble a lot more at higher speeds when they are swapped out! :)
You will need the pegs back on for the MOT as it will fair without them without replacing the pillion seat with a cowl. How much more vibration do you get with the mirrors vs the weights.
How did you get the smudge from too much pressure to go away? Did you leave screen in same spot on dash for a few days or take off and flip upside down
Would dielectric contact cleaner work on the screen adhesive? I've put that stuff in a plastic cup before and it somehow melted it, but you think it would do that to the screen too?
Soooo, what did you do to remove a baffle out??? 🤔 I bought a used Acra for my MT-07, which came fully assembled, as all parts baked in to each other! 😕

I installed the flip on my MT07 2018 maybe 1-2months ago and the white spot, similar to what you have in your video still hasn't came off. wtf, don't know what to do, Clusterz support said it is moisture and I need to be heated up with the dryer. I did that and no luck, spot hasn't came off even for a millimeter. Don't know what to do

Nice mods - I'm a fan of the MT-09SP and your bike is coming along well.
Create a spacer for the stock bar ends and clamp the mirrors onto the bar ends. I used copper piping for that.
Pro tip to remove any adhesive in the future gasoline works really well to remove any adhesive and also engine oil stains

Pro tip for anyone trying to remove adhesives (even including residue from window tint). Eucalyptus oil on a rag removes it effortlessly.

Use a damp towel and leave it on the screen for a few hours it will take the film off really easily without damage
