- The MT-09 colour change was a good excuse for me to figure out how to wrap a motorcycle once again in 3M vinyl to get rid of that indecisive purple.

Perfect!! I've never been happy with the color of my CB1000R and thought the tank had to many sharp angles to wrap it, but hesitant to have it painted, never thought about doing it in sections! Ingenious!

I do signage and graphic design mixed with photography so your content is always a perfect balance. You did that wrap so well! Especially using that vinyl, heat is your best friend and worst enemy

Looks sick in B&W dude! If you go down this route again, use a spray bottle with water and mist the surface slightly, it helps push out air bubbles when you run the squeegee over it
I've wrapped interior car panels, engine plastic panels and roofs and other parts. I must say I've never thought about using cutting tape.
A far easier approach you've taken with amazing results.

Man this is so fantastically done! I don't think I'd ever be brave enough to attempt something like it. And the black and white is a great look; I had a CBR600RR that was B&W and it really stood out (though it was much busier looking than this). The MT just looks fresh.

I'm actually in the same place as you, I bought a Night Fluo MT09 back in june and absolutely hated the color scheme and thought about powder coating my wheels and wrapping the tank but it has actually grown on me big time.
Was thinking of wrapping the tank and tail pieces of my mt07 since its all black, you gave me the inspiration to do it!

Wanted to cover scratches on Tank and rear fender from dropping my Aprilia before selling her. First time using vinyl. I did not buy knife less tape and just used a razor blade to cut carefully directly on on the bike, where i wanted the vinyl to end. It did not feel good to cut directly on the bike, but worked well enough. I was too cheap to order that knifeless tape for the 2 patches I did. Btw the atmosphere and vibes of your video are really relaxing and pause reality. Love the audio quality! Keep it up man

A month ago, me and my friend wrapped his Honda Hornet in a Glossy White, but everything with single sheets, without knifeless tape or squeegee. Everything we had were hot fan, and pieces of cloth because with bare hands it hurts after an hour of work. You did an awesome job tho, congratolations.
