GREAT INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO!! Is this the same as the 2023 KTM 300 XC-W TPI Rekluse clutch install? Rekluse website only goes to 2021 for KTM, but pretty sure no changes were made these years. Cheers
I tried To use the stock basket it was in better shape than that one and it made the clutch have e vibration and the engagement was as good as it was when I installed a brand new rekluse basket made squeal/vibration go away and that set up has lasted 400hrs on it that's not a typo just started getting notched and friction pads on the exp disc need to be replaced,
@@UPSHIFT_ONLINE solid piece of craftsmanship from rekluse that clutch never slips. I let people ride that bike and they never new it was an auto clutch during covid a Harescramble series where I live was letting me race a/b sportsman in am race 1 and a half hour race and and b vet in afternoon Wich was 2 hours I will say I was proud of myself getting 2nd in the am and 3rd in the pm one day although it was super dusty and hot that day and having already rode in the morning I new exactly where to go in the second race gave me huge advantage in the pm start. Think I was in first on last lap but I hit a wall, got tired and absolutely fell apart. ya was really hot and almost didn't finish
When you measured the clutch pack thickness, you didnt put the caliper on the friction material of the EXP disk. Was this intentional? I would think thats where you would want to place it. The diagram in the directions does not specify. I am sure that thickness will vary a few thousandths.
It looks like we cut that in editing and didn't use the correct part. He changed his grip and took a second measurement to get the friction material. We screwed up and clipped the correct part and left the incorrect part.
I noticed that as well and when I measured mine I included the friction plate. My measurements were on the edge of 2&3 of the Bellville spring. I initially set at 3 but the gears weren’t as smooth as it should be, so I moved it to 2 which was perfect.

Excellent video. I was able follow along to diagnose and resolve an issue I was having with my Radius CX dragging.
Glad it helped
Excellent video, very clear and easy to understand!
Glad it was helpful!
Nicely done. Best video out for Radius CX install. Now can you do a video for Lefthand Rear Brake install on 2021 KTM 300XC-W TPI or similar?
It is on our list. Getting the parts has been an issue.
Several times, torques were said to be “10 Newton-meters or 8 inch-pounds”, but
10 N-m is 8 foot-pounds.

400 hours is a solid piece of riding. Nicely done.

This is a great question. We have reached out to Rekluse to get a proper answer.

if just use rekluse friction & steel plates and the auto plate with oem hub pressure plate and clutch cover, that will work?
Yes, that is fine. What we are showing is the full meal deal.
@@UPSHIFT_ONLINE thanks save tons $😁
What happens if you torque clutch hub nut to OEM spec at 100nm
