@@22Yammyha450 id swap the clutch basket and washer its a know issue. A stabilizer IMO is a must have mod. Good skid plates belly and rotor guard and sprocket guard if you plan to race an oversized gas tank is nice as well even for long trail rides. Bead-locks and good tires should be on your list as well. If you want to add some power than a full exhaust or slip on exhaust is nice along w a vortex ecu. Its pretty much endless with mods.
Its pretty close i have not done one on a raptor and i’m not 100% sure if they make them for the raptor. I have done some installs on the trx450r and thats a little different but installing the clutch pack is the same.
Hey Onewheel I need to ask you a question please regarding the YFZ450R clutch. I replaced the slipper basket with the ealier version that doesn't have the springs on the back you know the one. I was riding this weekend and noticed that when in neutral and the clutch lever is out I can hear a distinktive noise. When you pull the clutch lever in the noise goes away. Its not a bad noise but a noise that noticable and for the life of me don't remeber it last year. Any insite on this and if this is normal or worse concerning?
Thanks bro I did open it back up for inspection and everything looks fine. Additional research shows that what I'm hearing is normal and there is nothing to worry about. As always thank you for being there for the community!
Would you recommend this clutch over others and if so would you only recommend to those that race or is it good for the weekend warrior on the trails too? Never messed with slipper/auto clutches and am curious
I stared using this clutch after breaking my wrist (clutch hand) once i was healed fully i never went back for me weather racing or just riding its sweet some people love them som don’t its really up to you. Once in a while in the off season ill throw the stock clutch in just for fun but for racing its a must have for me.
@ononewheel7 thanks man. I've been binging your videos since i got yfz450r in January. Your videos have helped alot with how to do things and what parts to order. I have the recluse clutch sitting on my workbench ready to install just waiting for the clutch basket to come in.
Nice video very informative and people will learn from this
Thanks man.
love the pan!

Great video! I just purchased a 2022 YFZ and I’m wondering what mods you recommend doing first.
Depends what your gna do w the quad.
@@ononewheel7 for now just some trail riding and maybe down the road some XC racing.

Anytime
Have you tried the new 4.0 version?
Yup i have been running it this year.
@@ononewheel7 How do you like it? Can you tell a difference?
@RYDRmotorsports so far it’s great i really don’t notice a difference between the 3.0-4.0
Is this the same procedure for the raptor?

It may just be normal but to be safe you may want to just pull it apart and take a peak inside just to see if anything may be out of place.

In the manual it says once you do the full counter clockwise turn, then go 2 indents CLOCKWISE. I’m unsure what to do
Its 3 indents clockwise
Can you do the break in procedure video?
I will once she is running.
