I totally definitely and deadly agree with you too I hope in episode 8 they could talk things out together and work things out together Stolas truly loves Blitz truly cares about Blitz and truly in love with Blitz but Blitz did build a wall around his heart it's because Blitz is afraid to get hurt again he did accidentally killed his mother and Barbie didn't want to see Blitz after the fire in there the circus but most importantly Blitz is afraid that he's just being used for sex let's just hope there's a way for Stolas to reach Blitz's heart and away Blitz to reach Stolas's heart I hope it's not too late
Stolas also calls out that the way he treated blitz at first kinda forced a give and take relationship which ruined a chance of growth until the asmodean crystal came into this, because once given to blitzo it would remove the point of blitzo needing Stolas.
This song in terms of lote is different from the song its based on as now its Stolas hoping that even without his usefulness to blitzo with his book that blitzo will still "look his way" to save what relationship they have and make it better then what its already become
I think blitzo feels the same about stolas, but he's scared that stolas just wants to take advantage of him.
I hate when people say "We heard Bryce instead of Stolas" in reference to the claim he didn't try hard enough to do Stolas' voice. He did Stolas' voice and accent, but much deeper. And that's because he knows what the hell he's doing. You don't want to hear a high pitched bird sing a dark, depressing song.

Never got that impression. People's voices always sound a bit different in tone when they sing as opposed to when they're just talking. If you watch interviews with vocalists such as the likes of John Davis (Korn) you can tell how different one's talking voice and singing voice really are.

Plus Stolas has many voices. The high pitch fake flirtatious one, and a far deeper melancholy voice that he’s using to sing.
@@CarlosRIOS777 The former is a voice he only ever really uses when he's around Blitzo. The melancholy one is more or less his normal speaking voice. Makes sense he'd use that in any "serious" song.
Stolas is such a beautiful, likable character. Your heart just aches for him. His entire life has been awful and yet he has such a sweet, sensitive demeanor. He’s completely broken, but he still tries to be a good partner, a good father and a loving individual.
I fully agree. There is literally no fault other than maybe that bit in Seeing Stars where he dismisses Via but thats it. Hes just a loving father who's true love is emotionally unavailable. I really hope that Blitzø can eventually let down his walls before Stolas falls out of love with him.

this is really something else, the builds, the emotion- and i like how blitz is represented in the moon through the piece in the start, he hold the moon and it orbits him, small enough to hold and feel close to, but as hes realising and actually saying these things to himself- understanding what blitz is feeling, it grows bigger, harder to grasp and then in the end being reached out to, coming so close but being unable to touch before falling further and further. this may just be my take but i think its beautiful

Stolas went from a thirsty, horny birb, to perhaps one of the most tragic characters in this show. It just makes his breakup with Blitzo so much sadder. I think I can say safely that Stolas gives Lucifer a run for his money in terms of the most depressed being in Hell.

I think i got it. Stolas giving the stone to Blitz will confuse him at first, make him effectively making Blirz think he was always right about that notion that Stolas only wanted to fuck him but Fizzaroli is the only one that can make him jump into sense now that they're friends. I mean he wouldn't even touch much on the subject with anyone up into him and Fizz got kindapped and he jump into talking about it with his long childhood friend without even realising and Fizz could definitely see that Blitz was being a fool mistaking Stolas feelings for him knowing himself that love of that kind is possible since he has Ozzie. He's going to set him straight and make Blitz go for Stolas.

It's pathetic that this song, made by a bunch of amateur creators, is better than the entirety of every movie made by Disney in the past year. Disney, who is a multibillion-dollar company with thousands of writers, animators, songwriters, actors, and voice actors. Getting absolutely dominated by amateurs with an incredibly limited budget.
Even if I agree with the statements about Disney, with exception of 1 or 2 movies in the last 4 years, Vivienne Medrano, Brandon Rogers and all the others who put blood, sweat and tears into making this show and this song a masterpiece are anything but amateurs! Well, about the music: It's wonderful! I cried when I heard it, and felt a sense of loss. I feel so sorry for Stolas, he loves Blitz to the point of letting him go, but he has such a distorted image of himself that he thinks it's his fault that Blitz doesn't love him, even though we know it's not him .
I hope this character's arc ends well, even though...well, it's hell, there's nothing really good there, and that makes me apprehensive about the fate of Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel.
Songs like this make me appreciate music and the talent it takes to make it
And to think Stolas started out as the rich horny snob and now is one of the most emotional and well written characters ever

The heartbreaking thing is that Blitz even talks about some of stolas's actions - like asking about his day and wanting to actually talk to him - but sees them as manipulation instead of realizing they're the opposite. I need Blitz to have a lightbulb moment SO BAD
It's funny to me that some people actually say that Blitzø doesn't love stolas. Like, have we watched the same show??? They both love eachother, but their emotions and relationship is so complicated. Thats why this is lowkey the most interesting relationship I've ever witnessed in a show like this. No other couples come CLOSE to what they have, what they went trough and how much they need eachother. Like yea Fizzarozzie is cute but will never be nowhere near as beautiful, deep, and emotional as stolitz, and they arent even confirmed endgame so that says a lot

Stolas is so patient, which is what blitz needs, and blitz cares so deeply, which is what stolas needs
It seems more like he's trying to convince himself that Stolas is using him and wants to validate it, but a part of him knows that isn't true.
You can tell because Fizz clearly didn't care about him and Stolas outside of using it to get under his skin, but Blitz wouldn't shut up about it.

But Bryce did such an awesome job with the emotions in his singing, and once again, Vivzie's animators did an astonishing job with the beautiful animation. Truly a masterpiece!
