I'd like to see a video on the Partner 'mons and their megas: Those being Pikachu, Meowth, Eevee, Duraludon and Fidough. And yes, that does mean Mega Fidough is an actual thing. I look forward to seeing how you react to that.
@MegaFidough Yeah, I kinda figured you had something to do with it. It's kinda your username after all. (I'm also the guy on discord who roasted you for forgetting Mega Torterra on the Mega Grass-type video).
Another great video! Damn there is so many mons I didn't even know had megas, or even 3rd stage evolutions! I think that would be a good video, maybe a top 3 or 5 of the new best last stage evo mons! Keep up the great work man!
@@MegaFidoughBro I was playing randomizer and saw an infernape with lightning like hair that was flying on a cloud and also an espeon looking like the universe
I swear that Snipe Shot should have been an auto crit from the get go to truly synergize with Sniper "But it would be too strong to" they gave Urshifu as Auto Crit move of similar BP in the same gen whilst it got much better coverage and an ability to ignore Protect entirely for Doubles. Genuinely, they could have done it. At least Inteleon would have had a niche as a pretty reliable Specs nuke for Rain teams for example. Definitely not as powerful as the other 2, but it would have made it much better at utilizing its power and would probably have fared better
@patrickstar8132 Exactly, that thing still has only Water moves and what ? Ice Beam, Shadow Ball and U-Turn apart from that ? Stil can't touch water but at least it would have the option to be a special Dracovish (though weaker it's much much faster) essentially Edit : I just did the Calc. Specs Snipe Shot crit (Timid btw not Modest, and weatherless) does 46.2 to 54.7% to Blissey or 60% chance to 2HKO, 100% with Rocks. Yup, I think as it stands, that shit would hit really hard, and that's weatherless, and if you want it to genuinely break walls, Life Orb + Nasty Plot basically is a delete button. Holy Shit I calced and LO Nasty Plot in Rain cleanly 2HKO SpD Pex in the rain, that's hilarious Definitely still worse than the other 2, but it would be hard to argue against it being a mon that would find a place for itself
It's a redux darmanitan, it also has battle bond, which changes its form when it gets a K.O, it's ground fighting type when in base form, and rock fighting in battle bond
Rillaboom: a noob trap mega in the vain of mtyph and especially mega meganium. On paper, it seems like a powerful mon, and it definitely has its potential fully established on the turn it megas. But then after the fact, you legit have to get hit for your whole deal to be established again, which isn’t as easy as the stats seem between how strong everything is and how many weaknesses boom has due to it’s typing. You’d much rather use other grassy terrain mons like celebi and especially hisuian electrode, the latter outclassing this by a golden mile on the account of being faster and stronger while not taking up the mega slot, letting you put it on something actually useful. Inteleon: Before the video, I, and a LOT of the server, didn’t know what exactly deadeye meant by “cannon” moves, and thus didn’t know the full extent of what this move made broken. Now that I understand that it essentially means mega launcher moves, aka this thing’s entire fucking kit in this case…. Yeah that cursed. Inteleon essentially becomes the special mega hitmonlee: perfect coverage paired with absurd stats with an ability that negates beating it with raw bulk. And it becomes more crit happy for each kill, and those crits deal more due to sniper. Cinderace: isn’t nearly as capable of abusing deadeye (thank GOD, considering they made sunsteel strike a mega launcher move, pyro ball seems in their jurisdiction), but still can take the ability for perfectly accurate hjks and pyro balls. However the thing definitely has a slight ability conondrum, since in particular turboblaze is amazing for ignoring multipliers and also helping out sd sets, while defiant lets it be useful on webs styles, especially for the short time mega corv is going to be popular. By in large, it’s now gen 8 cinderace with sd who’s stats now are equal to everything else in the meta, and as such can cause the havoc it does in vanill gen 8, albeit for all out attacking sets in particular, it does hate losing boots due to liking to spam u-thrn
Eevee is not even in contention, though. It's just... nowhere near as good as Pikachu and Meowth, due to Partner Eevee having a sorely lacking moveset (Since Partner Eevee _does not evolve_ it cannot use the nigh-unlimited coverage of the Eeveelutions, and multiple of its partner moves (chief among them Bouncy Bubble) just fall flat, especially since it can't just use any combination of them since they're a mix of physical and special. The devs should've given Mega Eevee Equinox. And beyond that, you also missed Partner Duraludon and Partner Fidough. Yes, this does mean that Mega Fidough is an actual thing in Elite Redux.
I wish they wouldn't JUST use a sprite form of their Gmax form, i think it's good that they use the designs as megas but some of them look clunky as sprites (not hating or saying the devs are lazy)
i actually wonder why they didnt implement the G-Max mechanic, since its kind off a hassle for Mons with many similar forms cough Charizard cough but its a nice addition anyways since rather than a 3 turn beefed up Mon, it stays much longer and probably less complicated
Well because if someone had to choose between a gmax/ dynamax form or mega they'll choose the Mega because it isn't limited to a 3 turn limit and actually boosts Pokemon unlike dynamax which just increases HP by 1.5 which isn't great
Or they could do what Pokerogue did and just make G-max like a secondary mega, gaining +100bst for the whole battle instead of double hp and stronger moves for 3 turns
it was nice to see the gmax forms get implemented without the gmax mechanic itself
