I like the concept, but i'm glad you can use the UI to check effectiveness of moves, because tracking all weaknesses and resistances with 3 types is really hard to do, especially with so many pokemon in Elite Redux.
I have an all Rotom run going and they are all solid. The only place they really struggle is Trick Room. Mow can spam Leaf Storms freely because of Hyper Cutter and delete Terrain just by switching in, Wash can punish contact with Damp and get rid of Screens, Fan gets to spam +1 Razor Wind all day, Heat has STAB Overheat (combos great with Frost Breath or Eject Pack!), Fridge can throw 96% accurate Blizzards and Thunders, and base Rotom can just turn off annoying moves with its ability. And Phantom has mostly been a liability for all of them. Tate and Liza's fight is in Inverse Room and that stupid Tapu Lele is a menace with Attack Order, and Sucker Punch is almost always a pain and priority one for Rotom to disable.
Cant wait for them to add steel type to frosmoth, and while theyre at it, giving him the dry skin ability too. After that use forest curse on it too A x20 weakness to fire, dude prob faint from sunny day
And Yanmega, According to the Dex, doesn’t even have Levitate. You could easily replace an Innate like Predator with Dragonfly or Levitate for that sense of realism. It doesn’t make sense.
Yea I agree. The ones like turboblaze having mold breaker built in especially how useful it is in this game makes it worth it but just adding a type usually doesn't do much
Not at all, with random abilities and innates you can have one of those abilities on a pokemon that doesn't have it I had a tsareena that was also steel type And a mega houndoom that had one then 3 when mega evolved
Fairy Tale and Hover feels like a type adding ability that will only bolster some Pokemons offensive capabilities. Maybe they can add an ability called Green Thumb that gives a Pokemon the Grass typing and it can be a built in Storm Drain/Sun Worshipper.
10:29 you should probably mention that it only has a 4x weakness to fire still because of it's innate Fluffy, otherwise it'd be a 2x with that type combination.
Mega Redux Toxtricity in its Dark Electric (Steel) form is the definition of busted. Choice Specs Metallic Amplifier Boomburst is destroying EVERYTHING, even things that resist Steel. Hopefully they get an analysis video soon
for me, I still prefer the ghost variant. chunky bass line is more useful for breaking sashes and sturdy, although the steel type gets hyper aggressive, it would lose its stab steel boomburst
To come outright and say it, most of these additional types are more bad than good, since it applies weakness to the point where the benefits don’t compensate, but individually: All of the rotom forms are now on roids because of the ability to gain each other’s moves. Washtom becomes an absurd defensive pivot with actually great options like flash freeze, splishy splashy splash, etc for support. Mowtom becomes a horrifying terrain focused sweeper thanks to lawnmower+terrain seeds. Frostom is actually the least reliant on the new coverage, and its boltbeam is now upgraded due to refrigerator upgrading its stab to include moves like thunder and making blizzard more reliable. And fantom is legit kilo lite that trades speed and raw power with bulk and leagues better coverage Even heatran, the worst of the bunch, can do similar things to washtom, albeit it has a worse typing. Mega bat in 2.5 got hit HARD. Deservedly so, and admittedly it losing momentum in favor of tinted lens isn’t the total end of the world, it just means it has to go back to mainly amplifier special sets again. Phanphernal sounds good… but then you see the meta and realize it’s VERY hostile to set up sweepers, what with all of the pressure mons running around like glowking and ting lu. Redux tox is by far the worst offender of the third types being more harm than good, legit gains 2 4x weaknesses and steel as an offensive type isn’t all that great. Fuzz tox is much better, however it still isn’t using all of it’s stab, since dark and ghost stab is extremely redundant 99% of the time, and it’s ghost stab is leagues better. Dreadnaut’s new access to a total of 4 stabs hides the fact that it has the same niche, build, and weaknesses as dhelmise. Mega krook likely didn’t even need to have a 4x fighting weakness to be completely outdone by mega flygon as a sand mega. To explain something: hazards go after the type ability activates, meaning hazard damage doesn’t take that into account (it’s similar logic to how if pelliper dies to rocks, it doesn’t set drizzle) so if a Mon like dhelmise comes in with stealth rock up, it would take neutral damage. However, the showdown is bugged to where hazards are applied AFTER the abilities activates, making Mon’s like kyurem white worse. Would this being fixed make it viable in Ubers? Nope: Kyurem black will forever outclass it as long as they both occupy the same format(tho considering Kyurem black is tearing the rest of the meta to shreds, hope isn’t lost) Koraidon, despite the absurd nature of what it got, isn’t all that popular between, Kyurem black, mega ray, yveltal and all of the fairies running around. Carapace’s K it it’s generally great between speed force, shift gear, and it’s stabs, tho it has a painful time setting up between its frailty and terrible defensive typing. Kyurem black’s only checks are healthy pdon and zamazenta crowned, and both are vulnerable to hazards. Everything else’s loses to it after 1 dance between refrigerate espeed and bolt strike, and if it wants it can troll both of them with band sets with eq. Redux claw is an utter nuisance to switch into between the wide coverage and constant status effects, tho like Kyurem white, it’s heavily impacted by the hazard interaction Dragalge doesn’t even really use its water typing offensively, tho it does like the ice neutrality. It doesn’t effect it’s ability to throw out contrary draco meteors or abuse adapt +protean The cool tech dodrio has is unable to mask the fact that it’s essentially just a bog standard breaker when those mons are everywhere. A long while back, the thing used to be an utter terror since solenoglyphs was bugged to where it just added +50% chance for the effect to occur in a biting move, essentially making draconic fangs remove everything that isn’t immune or faster as an answer to it. With that patched tho, it’s mostly passed over, joining the fate of the original. Base aero is never used over maero, in fact all the dragon typing does it worsen it’s ice weakness Salazzle is leagues better than salazarus since the star distribution is leagues better. However it isn’t saying much, they both are unimpressive breakers are apart of the sea of breakers the game has to offer. Ever since mtyph got completely gutted in 2.0 Flygon has effectively taken the place of the main sand mega and has sufficiently led the style alongside excadrill. Redux flygon’s the one case where the third type gets betrayed by the kit. The dragon typing would help with the fire weakness, but fluffy cancels that out. Not like it would help the terrible defensive typing.
I remember I was making a Pixelmon server with a friend before ways to properly change things became a thing. We learned triple types are a thing that can be done, and in fact there’s no type limits so you can give something two of the same type or multiple. We learned this from when we made Water Compaction try and give the water type to Pallosand, but just decided to give them triple type and change the ability to SAY it adds the water type. It worked. We tricked people into thinking we know coding.
I think the 3 types at once are a great idea. Although I am glad that they are still a rarity. I also like how many Pokémon like Charizard, Ledian, Lugia and Ho-oh lost their Flying types but got Levitate instead, which doesn't make them Flying types, but sort of gives them a weaker pseudo STAB for Flying type moves. I think that's a neat idea. Also do you know which Pokémon will get Fairy Tale and Hover?
Hey guys, does ver 2.5 have tm hm case? I have a problem finding it. I got hm1 but when i tried to teach my pokemon with it, i cant find it nowhere. Pls help
@MegaFidough yes and I don't know all the ones so that's why I'm asking you to do a video of all those pokemons to let the players know about them and use them to enjoy Pokemon Elite Redux
Three are 18*17*16/3! = 816 possible three type combos in theory, so they aren’t going to run out! (Some of them would be silly flavor wise, or bad competitively, or both, though)
Iron Carapace when it sees one grain of sand:
I don't feel good
*explodes*
*Burried*
A Diglett using Mud Slap against Iron Carapace is basically the equivalent of getting a Hollow Purple thrown at it.
Even better that Mud Slap in this game is basically multi-hit moves lmao
I like the concept, but i'm glad you can use the UI to check effectiveness of moves, because tracking all weaknesses and resistances with 3 types is really hard to do, especially with so many pokemon in Elite Redux.
Yea the in-game tools make this less of a nightmare lol

Honestly, a much more interesting watch than I was expecting! Keep up the good work!
glad you enjoyed 🙏🏾
Cant wait for them to add steel type to frosmoth, and while theyre at it, giving him the dry skin ability too. After that use forest curse on it too
A x20 weakness to fire, dude prob faint from sunny day
Sadly you can only have 3 types at the same time
Forest curse would replace metallic’s steel type for grass
that'd be a 32x weakness to fire, actually
i mean your point still stands but
9:46 This is just the biggest insult for yanmega. The dragonfly Pokémon not getting the dragonfly ability? It’s just not fair man.
And Yanmega, According to the Dex, doesn’t even have Levitate. You could easily replace an Innate like Predator with Dragonfly or Levitate for that sense of realism. It doesn’t make sense.
My favorite type combination is Chimecho the amount of resistances it has is nutty. I hope it gets some love in the next patch like an evo or mega
The concept is cool, but it feels a lil lame when all an ability does is add another type.
Yea I agree. The ones like turboblaze having mold breaker built in especially how useful it is in this game makes it worth it but just adding a type usually doesn't do much

@@MegaFidoughEven minor added effects could be neat. Like add a 25% damage reduction from Contact moves to Phantom or something.
Yeah I agree. Ik it's easier said than done but they should code it so a pokemon can just straight up have three types (or more)
Somebody give that robo centipede an air balloon 😂
Im willing to get my boy an anti gravity bubble so that he doesn't have to worry about DIRT for the rest of his life
Fairy Tale and Hover feels like a type adding ability that will only bolster some Pokemons offensive capabilities. Maybe they can add an ability called Green Thumb that gives a Pokemon the Grass typing and it can be a built in Storm Drain/Sun Worshipper.
A Ground-water-flying pokemon... with ice dew.

Question: what's the "Myste" type? What about "Stell"?
What is the Myste type?
Mystery type, used for Present (the move) in Elite Redux.
7:16 No. It's Dragon Alge. Drag-Alge. Dragalge.
wrong
When the next update of elite redux come out
December
@MegaFidough I dont mean that update What I mean is that when will the next new update come out
What's the Mystery Type?
for the move present. a nothing type
Aer there Z moves in this? Or are they not added yet?
they wont be added
@@MegaFidough Ok cheers
What is Myste?
Mystery, functionally typeless damage like the ??? type in the normal games.
