"We Can Just Put it Right Back in There", a full Ghostbusters Reconstruction with deleted scenes, alternate takes and unused music is available here: archive.org/de...
This montage definitely makes it clear why they were hiring and happy to have Winston. Their work is exhausting. It seems they need all the help they can get.
I love this fan-made extended montage. If New York City really was plagued by ghosts and the Hook & Ladder Company 8 firehouse really was Ghostbusters Headquarters with the same interior that was used for the Engine Company 23 fire station in Downtown Los Angeles (before it was acquired to be turned into a youth arts center), I would definitely want to work there and help capture ghosts, and as scary and dangerous the job may get, it would keep my adrenaline pumping. But I wouldn't let that stop me from quitting my job, I would still keep pressing on forward. There's no other job in New York I would want that could compare to being a Ghostbuster. I know that ghostbusting can be a tiring job, but Peter, Ray and Egon didn't give up, they still kept pressing on forward. After all, it was Gozer's approaching time of arrival that provoked many ghosts into being much more active than usual. It's a good thing that Gozer didn't learn about the Ghostbusters capturing ghosts and containing them. Otherwise, it would've sent the most powerful ghosts and demons to destroy them before the Ghostbusters had first encountered Gozer. It's also a good thing that Peter, Ray and Egon had hired Winston to help them capture ghosts and stop Gozer from destroying New York City. Otherwise, just Peter, Ray and Egon wouldn't have stood a chance against Gozer. Then again, they probably would've stood a chance when they had crossed the proton streams to destroy Gozer's portal banishing it back to its hellish realm, but it wouldn't be complete without Winston included.
One thing everyone says they’d have wanted to be a ghostbuster I guarantee you would have quit once encountering something like say Vigo, Gozer, from real ghostbusters, boogeyman, or nexa. Even with a proton pack you’d need a genius like Egon or Pheobe to help you build weapons and more advanced containment.
@@charles1203 Well, I can assure you, I certainly wouldn't want to quit a job like that, especially after playing Ghostbusters: The Video Game. As I played it, I imagined that I was there helping the Ghostbusters with their missions.
@@JoshuaModerwell the game put you in there but you know you’d have ptsd doing some of those missions unless you’re into it like ray, smart like Egon, have the sense of humor like Peter to make fun of every situation.
@@JoshuaModerwell I think after almost getting zapped off a building by lighting then everyone calls you a fraud would get to you after a while. Like being a veteran and no one appreciates you.
Been thinking. If there isn’t much for Ghostbusters 2, there are ideas for Ghostbusters 1. We already have the extended version of the one you edited unless you’re thinking about removing some of the beeps whenever there is an alternative take so that we feel like we are watching the final version of the extended version. Also, we can watch Ghostbusters with isolated music without dialogue and watch Ghostbusters with sound and dialogue without music. Again, just ideas for the first movie.
@@foolwithaguitar84 oh! Man I haven’t listened to the score of Afterlife since I first bought it but now I need to listen to it. Good score though. Thanks.

This is an absolute masterpiece
0:42 so this managed to make it into the second movie
A very special treat for hardcore fans. Cheers, mate 👍
They should release this extended version, this montage is better than the original
Who was that blonde lady Jennifer the leguminate phenomenon? Lol

This is fantastic.
1:34 never knew why they kept that scene of the Ecto-1 turning on the right instead of using the original take
They just mirrored it to fit with the magazine cover better

amazing
I love it.
Is something trying to get out? Lots of things? You’ve been containing ghosts here since 1984?
Question. During the Fort Detmerring scene, where she first appeared in human form, what music is it from and what is it called?
It’s actually a piece of the Afterlife score called “Under the Floor”. I put it in by mistake initially, but got attached to it

Any plans on doing ghostbusters 2
I have seen the deleted scenes from GB2 but there's not as many from the first movie.
@@bryanrizzo9377 there's actually much more but most of them are unreleased
