    Tamur Lane was a momin and a practising muslim, whereas Gehngis Khan was a non Muslim. Taimur was a hafiz of Quran, and during his rule the arts and sciences flourished, and he promoted Islamic scholarship. There was no comparison between Gehngiz Khan and Taimur, apart from both being great military commanders.

    • @veergokula8785
      @veergokula8785 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      How you know Timur the Lame was a mumin, Allah only knows. We can only judge from the apparent, and boy was his apparent bad. He looked upto Genghis and wanted to emulate him in his barbarity. By some people's estimation Timur the Lame killed 5% of the world's population, that's around 17 million people. He literally puts any other genocidal mass murdering nutter to shame, Hitler, Pol Pot, Yazid or Hajjaj are amateurish in comparison.

      How do we know you are a momin, or the next person? If you use that silly logic then one can do Takfier on any Tom Dick, and Hary. You see you take the History of the Muslims from the biased view point of the Orientalists. Had you gone to the historic sources of the time, you would have discovered that indeed Tamur was a very pious individual, and his sole motivations for his conquests was to strengthen Islam. He may have admired Gehngiz Khan, not due to his cruelty, but due to his Military genius. Even I admire Gehngis Khan for this fact. During the rule of Taimur, muslim scholarship rose and flourished. He was a patron of the various arts, and sciences, and ultimately upon his death he died reciting the Kalimah.

    • @veergokula8785
      @veergokula8785 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mirzataimurbaig4806 In your OP you stated he was a 'mumin and a praticing muslim'. From that I assumed you were talking about the level of his iman, and that is what I was referring to, ie, the perfection of faith and the high rank which is above the level of just being a Muslim.
      So you are prepared to overlook mass murder and genocide just because he was a Muslim? The deaths of potentially 17 million people isn't enough to sway your judgement? His sole motivation was to strengthen Islam, really? By invading an already existing Muslim sultanate, killing its inhabitants and looting and making off with its wealth. It is estmated he killed 1,000,000 people during his invasion of India. It seems to me like its the complete opposite of strengthening Islam.
      You admire Ghengis you say, you do know during his time, he created such terror that the Muslims thought, the Mongols were Yajuj and Majuj? They literally thought the world was ending. Not something to admire in my opinion.

    • @mirzataimurbaig4806

      I think those numbers of him killing are highly exaggerated, and must be taken with a pinch of salt.
      In any event those existing
      Empires were extremely materialistic, and committed extreme oppression on their populace, therefore they had to be punished, and removed. Everything happens with the will of allah.
      Thirdly I do not admire Gehngis Khan for his atrocities, but for his Military genius, which even non Muslim scholars praise him for. In any event the Mongals en mass accepted Islam in a few generations. So some good came out of evil.

      Jon Snow, I sympathise with your sentiments. It doesn't befit an apparently religious individual to behave so unIslamicaly. Just because this was the done thing amongst the Turks doesn't negate the utter unislamic barbarity of it. Similarly unislamic, was his inappropriate relationship with a Hindu girl in his court, but these things are seldom discussed.
      This is the problem with portraying an individual one dimensionly, building him up into something he wasn't. People are left with a false impression and when they read the actual history they are left confused.
