  • In this video I will be talking about the importance of leg movement in the follow through. Sometimes this is the cause of mobility issues and early evidence or the cause of early extension.

Either I have every fault there is or you seem to know exactly what I need to work on. Thanks for your great tips. I never even noticed what my right knee was doing until this video.

I have played golf for over 50 years and this is the first time I have seen this advice. Excellent.

I never thought about straightening the right knee, I always fixated on the lead (left knee). This makes sense. I can't wait to try this.

The right foot feeling it more in your big toe, this really helped me. I saw somewhere else someone described it as 'squashing a bug' under that right big toe to initiate the downswing.

Teaching is an ART and you certainly have that talent 👌. You seem to be hitting all my issues.
Bent elbow , early extension etc .
I am going to take the time to go through all your videos

Your videos are great, and I particularly appreciate that you get to the point quickly, give a great drill, and then direct us to more information if needed. Thank you

I wish I had this video a year ago. Lol This was one of my issues for awhile. It is a friends of mines still. Great content as always. Love how you broke this down. Sending this to him. I couldn't figure out how to explain the issue to him. Thank you Jonathan.

Your videos are great and you are a fabulous teacher! I have much to learn reagrding the game, but you explain things so well...the best golf videos by far on utube (in my opinion, for a person who is still learning the game).

So glad I watched this today before going to the course. I learned this in a different video before but forgot about it. Ball striking was better than it’s been in months. I hit more GIR’s and fairways today as well as won the greenie money for the par 3’s. Thanks for sharing this tip.

I break 80 on a regular basis, hit a high push draw with driver and irons onto the green... but if you watch my swing on slow mo have this exact same issue...
always felt like it was a rare swing flaw... I'll give this a try
    thx

Wow. Been trying to figure out what to do with legs since I started playing golf. I’ve known that my jutting hip screwed up my club path but didn’t know how to fix it. I think your drill is similar in conception to the bowler drill (a hockey type move), but the moving the leg back feel was unnatural. Extending the knees through the swing seems to complement my normal pattern. Thanks, thanks and thanks.

I think that is the reason my ball always go right - the right knee is not straight up. Also it helps my hand waists to flip over after contact the ball - more power. Thanks

I use a staggered stance for every shot because ,at my age, it makes it easier to rotate the body.

  • @Haller3131
    @Haller3131 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

This is me badly. Can't get the legs straightened out. I end up with a chicken wing in my left arm through impact and the hips are level. My rotation comes to a dead stop right at impact basically.

Great golf instruction, however it seems you are starting to do what many others do and that is spending a lot of time telling me what I'm doing wrong. I want to see what I need to do to get it right more than knowing what I'm not doing. I really do enjoy your teaching style so please focus on what "to do". Thanks.

Appreciate the feedback. I think it is important to explain the issue as clearly as possible so that players can understand the reality of what is happening and so there is no confusion or misunderstanding especially since this is online. In the second half of my videos I always explain drills and “feels” that can help address the specific issues I mention.

Utter carbage....every pro gets into a deep squat in the downswing...ben hogans secret is to throw right knee at ball
