The thing I love the most about Sanji is how he had every reason to be a cold blooded power-seeking guy, but chose not to. He was considered a failure, severely abused, locked up, starved for months, basically had to fight for his life on a daily basis. Yet in the series, despite being one of the monster trio, he never actively trained to become stronger and his goal had nothing to do with power. He went through all that and still retained a kind and gentle heart.

The moment when sanji REALLY SHINED was during the whole cake island arc. I actually cried when i read what puddings last request was. I think the whole cake island story arc is the best, regardless of GrandLineReview's opinion. Based on his moral choices and how he reacted to his father's wishes, the drama and the roller coaster of emotions make me really think of this arc and this character as clearly one of Oda's finest creations

You did a good job in mentioning his time line and his abilities but also an underrated ability would be his swordsman ship he holds compared to his intelligence as many characters are smart on the crew compared to luffy. Also that he didn’t get any redemption having getting beat from his brothers once more after his brother beat up the maid he was being kind to. I’m happy you mentioned how despite how Pervy Sanji is he would still be progressive in women’s rights compared to most of the people in the higher up positions.

Damn, I never knew that Zeff disapproved of Sanji's smoking or what Sanji's favorite brands are. As a cigarette smoker myself (switching to vaping to quit smoking, it's tough), I don't think it's so much taste buds as diminishing your sense of smell which affects the ability to taste. Fortunately, if you quit smoking, you can regain your sense of smell.

I have a theory I don't know if it has been answered yet but here goes: In sanjis battle with vergo his leg bone gets broken in the process by vergo, in the proceeding arc when sanji battled doflamingo he faced a devastating defeat. I think this is due to sanji's broken leg bone which prevented him from using his full power. In the wholecake island where sanji completely overpowers oven with a never before seen technique I believe that due to enough time passing by sanji's leg bone was able to fully heal allowing him to use his full power without restraint.
KingFoofy I found it really weird how his leg’s bone just broke and nothing else ever was commented on it apart from the pain he left once after the battle with Vergo, if I think about this regarding what happened to Zoro with “nothing happened”, Sanji’s bone breaking pretty much rivals that scene in my eyes at least.

I feel like you forgot to add that diable jambe had nearly no build up and as such when it comes to new world he can now fly but still doesn’t get any valid fights for a big time. You did a good job in mentioning his time line and his abilities but also an underrated ability would be his swordsman ship he holds compared to his intelligence as many characters are smart on the crew compared to luffy. Also that he didn’t get any redemption having getting beat from his brothers once more after his brother beat up the maid he was being kind to. I’m happy you mentioned how despite how Pervy Sanji is he would still be progressive in women’s rights compared to most of the people in the higher up positions.

Damn, I never knew that Zeff disapproved of Sanji's smoking or what Sanji's favorite brands are. As a cigarette smoker myself (switching to vaping to quit smoking, it's tough), I don't think it's so much taste buds as diminishing your sense of smell which affects the ability to taste. Fortunately, if you quit smoking, you can regain your sense of smell.

I have a theory I don't know if it has been answered yet but here goes:
In sanjis battle with vergo his leg bone gets broken in the process by vergo, in the proceeding arc when sanji battled doflamingo he faced a devastating defeat. I think this is due to sanji's broken leg bone which prevented him from using his full power. In the wholecake island where sanji completely overpowers oven with a never before seen technique I believe that due to enough time passing by sanji's leg bone was able to fully heal allowing him to use his full power without restraint.
KingFoofy I found it really weird how his leg’s bone just broke and nothing else ever was commented on it apart from the pain he left once after the battle with Vergo, if I think about this regarding what happened to Zoro with “nothing happened”, Sanji’s bone breaking pretty much rivals that scene in my eyes at least.

I used to think it had something to do with haki bc ive seen other haki users produce fire, but now im beginning to wonder if that was going to be his ability from birth, like niji’s electro blue and Reiju’s poison pink. No telling though but just a cool head cannon. Wish I could see sanji owning his brothers in a fight though i am very tired of watching him take L’s and all his other battles happening off screen

In reality though i think an argument could be made that fishman island IS the all blue. After all, knowing the geography of the one piece world, the only place besides reverse mountain where all 4 oceans meet is at fishman island. Also it’s worth considering that all manners of undersea life can be found there, even sea kings. So was Sanji’s quote of “I found my all blue!” Truly just a joke? Or could it have been a sneaky way of saying it without outright saying so.

He meets pudding, she doesn’t beat him off with a stick and he’s got no idea what to even do if a chick likes him back. Imagine a one piece where instead of sanji’s hopeless love life being an ongoing character gag, they integrate his flirting into the story and give it some use. You know how Luffy seduces Hancock and she instantly uses her power and influence to help him and move the plot forward? That could have been sanji’s niche. What women doesn’t love to eat?

If you rewatch that fight you will see that Luffy didn’t even attempt one attack he has too much respect for his crew mates he would never fight them like this (also yes I am aware of the fight with ussap but that was under different circumstances)

Mate you should have really scrolled down and looked at the hundreds of other people who have made this comment, but I'll tell you the same thing I told all of them: You're wrong. In the manga, Zeff severed his leg with a rock and ate it to survive. The anime changed it because that was too brutal to show on TV. It's still the canon event though.
