well being the navigator she does occasionally take over some duties that would normally belong to the captain such as deciding the ships course and keeping track of their money and could seem to be in charge while sailing, although she still cant stop luffy from derailing and heading towards obvious danger lol
Brandon Withnell she plays more of a mother and big sister role I would say tho. Luffy doesn’t do any of the captain duties forreal unless it’s the final decision on what island they want to go to. She was honestly doing that even when she first met Luffy and zoro

There is pretty good theory that kuina did not die from falling down the stairs. This is the one piece world people fall of buildings and they survive. Sometimes even as a comedic scene. Kuina was probably murdered and it wasn't stairs-sama. Maybe this will be revealed in a future arc for zoro just like sanji or robin got their arc
Zoro isn't just a one dimensional character, his portrayal would make him seem like it. He's earned his place as the best straw hat crew member and Luffy's right hand. •He's been the most level headed and objective since the beginning, continuing on even into the new world. I.E. on Punk Hazard telling Luffy they can't fuck around if they want to make it in the new world. •His goal, besides Luffy's, is the only one to really force him to put his life on the line (map of the world, all blue, visit Elbaf, etc.). •He says the tough things that need to be said, i.e. leaving Usopp at water 7 if he doesn't apologize. •Numerous other characters have mentioned that Zoro seems more of the captain than Luffy.
btw i think when zoro performed "Ashura" only his 3 usual swords connected and the other 6 were illusions, which while not necessarily increasing attack damage, will bring the perk of the enemy not knowing what to dodge. maybe i'm the illusionary one here but im currently revisiting the enies lobby chapters so I'll look out for it.
I don't think that is the case as it wouldnt be a good powerup and also he was able to cut through kaku's strongest attack in ashura form which he was not able to do before

Zoro also uses some saber-like swords in the Drum Kingdom that he stole from Wapol's minions, just after he stole a warm coat. He uses two of those in the manga, and three in the anime.

There is pretty good theory that kuina did not die from falling down the stairs. This is the one piece world people fall of buildings and they survive. Sometimes even as a comedic scene. Kuina was probably murdered and it wasn't stairs-sama. Maybe this will be revealed in a future arc for zoro just like sanji or robin got their arc

Zoro isn't just a one dimensional character, his portrayal would make him seem like it. He's earned his place as the best straw hat crew member and Luffy's right hand.
•He's been the most level headed and objective since the beginning, continuing on even into the new world. I.E. on Punk Hazard telling Luffy they can't fuck around if they want to make it in the new world.
•His goal, besides Luffy's, is the only one to really force him to put his life on the line (map of the world, all blue, visit Elbaf, etc.).
•He says the tough things that need to be said, i.e. leaving Usopp at water 7 if he doesn't apologize.
•Numerous other characters have mentioned that Zoro seems more of the captain than Luffy.
btw i think when zoro performed "Ashura" only his 3 usual swords connected and the other 6 were illusions, which while not necessarily increasing attack damage, will bring the perk of the enemy not knowing what to dodge. maybe i'm the illusionary one here but im currently revisiting the enies lobby chapters so I'll look out for it.
I don't think that is the case as it wouldnt be a good powerup and also he was able to cut through kaku's strongest attack in ashura form which he was not able to do before
my guess is that it definately has something to so with his cursed sword, maybe it will be explained in wano
