Honestly it was Usopp who made me appreciate Oda's writing so much. Actions of shonen protagonists are more or less predictable like Luffy, Natsu, Naruto etc while Luffy being more of an extremist and having a substantially better story to grow around. But Usopp is different. He was a complete weakling and for someone like him to have a god tier Observation haki, overcoming his weaknesses and fear almost every time and being nothing but a bundle of surprises is what makes this man truly lovable! He will surely have a breathtaking arc at elbaf and by the time one piece ends... Usopp will become more or less as popular (in some ways) as Luffy himself! :)
For a time Usopp was my least favorite Strawhat despite him being useful and some points. It was until Water 7/Enies Lobby where I began to like him a bit more. I actually didn't know that Sniper King had a different name in the Manga/Japanese version of the series. His theme song is so damn fun to listen to.
I think what I love most about Usopp is how realistic his backstory is. His father left him when he was a kid and his mother died not long after, I KNOW PEOPLE WHO’VE BEEN THROUGH THAT!
Afonso Martins nah man. I know a lot of people who relate to franky. I mean, who HASNT gotten abandoned by their parents ending up at this island and building killer boats with fish people and a man named after the thing that killed titanic. So relatable
Usopp... one of my all time favorite anime characters... I am SO rooting for him to become an absolute badass as One Piece progresses and it is SO satisfying to see him gradually become that!!!
Usopp is my favorite straw hat surely because the fact that he's intentionally written to be the weakest straw hat (of the ones that actually fight) means his victories end up being a lot more meaningful by comparison. After all, while Luffy, Zoro or Sanji winning becomes predictable but Usopp winning in inventive and outside the box ways tends to be a lot more engaging for me. His victories feel a lot more earned this way. That and I identify with the fact that he feels insecure about what he brings to the table. I often feel like the "weak link" among my companions or family.

Alejandro Rodriguez watch the grandline explained video, it’ll make you wanna dive into the series, and if you do watch it, watch it for what it’s for ....ADVENTURE
I also like that hes stood up to some of the big bosses in this series like Enel, Lucci, Kizaru and even Luffy himself. Sure, he didn't stand a chance in any of those situations but I give him props for at least trying.
This scene at 3:00 made me laugh so much and I love the dynamic between Chopper and Usopp so much. There's another comment that Chopper made that made me smile, Chopper saying that Usopp told him the story of how they go the Going Merry a dozen times already.
Usopp is hands down my favorite character in all of One Piece. To me he's the most relatable and realistic of the Straw Hats. Although he has his "hero moment" in almost every arc, it doesn't get any better than his speech from Chapter 87. That's what really made me fall in love with his character. The only thing I can think comes close is him confronting Trebol and Sugar.
I have just started watching your videos recently and have to say i really like your OP 101. They are pretty accurate, informative and over all well made. And i actually learn a thing or two which i didnt know about. And your videos help me to remember of some infos i have forgotten. Im looking forward to more of this kind of videos of you. Keep it up.
When I was younger and rather unknowing of One Piece I thought Usopp had died and became Brook I realized my mistake after I eventually started watching One Piece as if it was my religion
Usopp is definitely one of the more interesting characters in One Piece. He's also one of the more relatable characters. Also, are all of the strawhat pirates orphans?
aw man i loved that moment in enies lobby along being handcuffed to zoro(and being used as a sword.)and tiny gear 3rd luffy punching rob lucci in the nose giving rob lucci a hilarious "you little shit" reaction(kinda wish luffy still had that setback to gear 3rd as it would've been funny to see boa hancocks reaction to it.:3)
Usopp is not trying to be a brave warrior of the sea. He Effing is. The fact that he overcomes his significant cowardice and stays with the straw hats through thick and thin makes him an excellently brave warrior of the sea.
I have a theory about One Piece and it basically means that God Usopp is legit. If any of us ever met Usopp, he would murder us with ease. Yes. Even pre-timeskip. Basically my theory (probably a common one) is that humans from the OP world are.. well.. OP. lol I don't think it's unique to the Monster Trio, Royalty and special bloodlines. I believe all humans from the OP world are much stronger and more durable than us humans. Just look at the beatings Usopp has taken even pre-TS, and when he first joins the ship there is a gag that his bag won't fit through his door... his bag is probably several hundred pounds or more and he runs with it no problem. We see children like tiny Zoro lifting boulders and trees, and we see normal women capable of smashing buildings and kicking the shit out of monster peeps. My theory is that weak ass Usopp is probably equivalent to Captain America in our world. If he somehow came to our world he run faster than Usain Bolt, be stronger than Halfthor Bjornsson, and more durable than any human alive. He would be a legitimate superhero. My theory is that all humans of the One Piece world are affected by not only the harsh world they evolved on, but also that none of them are actually Homo Sapiens. I think they all have some amount of alien, giant, and other mixed race blood. This is how you get abnormally large humans that aren't giants, wierd monkey men, Shandorans, and "normal" looking base humans with the strength of giants and fishmen (like Zoro.) because it's just latent genes adding to an already robust and seriously powerful baseline. This might be why many of the strongest characters get I'll and die, Whitebeard likely had giant genes and like real life giant people, his organs and body couldn't handle the strain of his own physiology. His body basically destroyed itself, he got immense power, but as he got older his body deteriorated very quickly... like many real athletes like Shaq being huge and strong has real downsides as you get older, especially if you live a rough lifestyle. Basically all of this is to say... Usopp could kick your ass. Shit... whiney book one Helmeppo could kick your ass. Lol Aisa the sky brat could kick your head down through your gut and out your own ass if she wanted to! God Usopp is legit! (Like he says often, It's just not his fault that everyone else is freakishly overpowered! Haha) P.S. This theory also explains odd hair colors, wierd features like Usopps nose... etc. It's probably latent genes for fishmen or other races being randomly activated and passed on. Perhaps Usopp has latent swordfishman genes, or his nose just grows at a faster rate like a giant. Maybe 90yo Usopp will have a 4 foot long nose, since noses never stop growing! Imagine that lol damn. Poor Usopp...
I hope when the straw hats come face-to-face with the red hair pirates, would be so epic if Usopps dad took a shot at him to test him and with out a second thought Usopps dodges and fires right back and he smiles knowing his sons a great sniper.
Little fun fact: most of usopp’s attacks revolve around trickery. One case is when he presumable pulled out a one million pound mallet and managed to raise it over his head, but it turned out to be a balloon. However, and forgive me for forgetting the person he was against, it was convincing enough to cause his enemy to pass out. His usual trick is the katchup ball, with which, he places it into his mouth and fakes an injury. In most cases, he uses this to lure his enemy in a false state of victory, before attacking. However, in one case, this method was used after being chased by a fishman, which he pretends to die to get the fishman to leave. This actually sparks a bit of confidence in his when he realizes that none of his friends would back away from a fight, so why should he. While he does still fears getting into potential fights, usopp still stand beside his friends when in a serious battle. Also, usopp is considered the best sniper in the crew, and possibly the world. One instance being where usopp made a deal with a man that he would snipe a weather vane in the shape of a whale with a crown in order to get a pair of goggles. (The weather vane part is important) Should usopp fail, the man who dared him would shoot usopp dead, as during the time, usopp threatened the man’s daughter, who bought the goggles that usopp wanted as a gift for her father. Usopp accepted the dare and proceeded to shoot at the weather vane, at first believing he missed, before realising the he hit the dead center of the whale’s crown, and winning the goggles. Even before this, usopp would often declare himself as the king of snipers, aself proclaimed title that, interestingly, seems quite fitting.
One thing about usopps growth as of right now. he has NO issues raiding onigashima, he hasn't show much fear over that matter at all and thats against Kaido
Usopp reminds me a lot like Saka from the last airbender series where he doesn't have special powers and he always doubts himself but he ends up becoming a better warrior and has a creative mind.
happy birthday god usopp!!!the luigi of one piece(if you added a mustache he would look like a one piece equivalent to luigi.kinda makes me wish in super grand battle x they had usopp be luigi instead of yoshi.the two are pretty similar being scaredy cats that also embody the true nature of bravery doing something even when your scared and both luigi and usopp embody that with how they go through dangerous situations just to protect their friends/brother in luigi's case.:3) and its pretty cool that usopp is one of the few strawhats to have confirmed love interest waiting for him in a classical sea goer way(and the fact that all of his stories are in some way coming true.:3)

Afonso Martins nah man. I know a lot of people who relate to franky. I mean, who HASNT gotten abandoned by their parents ending up at this island and building killer boats with fish people and a man named after the thing that killed titanic. So relatable
Kizaru: Hey there, your "God" Usopp ain't ya?
Sokaking: Na
Kizaru: Aright, Carry on. *turns away.
Usopp* Dash's as fast as possible.
That'd be the only admiral that that would work on XD
You’re*
But doesn't Sogeking technically still have a bounty himself.
She!! Don't tell Kizaru dat
I need Sniper King to make an appearance, Post Time skip, just one more time.
Usopp may very well be my favorite straw hat!
Also he ain't no liar! He's a prophet!
Usopp... one of my all time favorite anime characters...
Ussop is my favorite character in One Piece. He is the one that is more human, and in his way, the bravest
Dude I just found your channel , I’ve been trying to get into one piece but the amount of episodes I need to watch pushes me away , but through ur vids I feel like I’m getting all the info I need to get what’s happening in the one piece world , I really gotta watch one piece but for now imma keep watching you 😂
Alejandro Rodriguez watch the grandline explained video, it’ll make you wanna dive into the series, and if you do watch it, watch it for what it’s for ....ADVENTURE
Thank you very much! That's an amazing compliment and I hope that you end up getting into the series one day! Thanks for watching! :D
Your best course of action is to read the manga.
I love one piece, but Toei animation is ruining it.
I also like that hes stood up to some of the big bosses in this series like Enel, Lucci, Kizaru and even Luffy himself. Sure, he didn't stand a chance in any of those situations but I give him props for at least trying.
Wait wait wait... why were you talking about sogeking in this vid? I thought that this vid was supposed to be about Usopp
This scene at 3:00 made me laugh so much and I love the dynamic between Chopper and Usopp so much. There's another comment that Chopper made that made me smile, Chopper saying that Usopp told him the story of how they go the Going Merry a dozen times already.
Fun fact:You always put 101 in your videos which i love a lot
Usopp is without a doubt my favorite Strawhat.
Top 5 Rather Creatively Named Pirate Crews.
"When combined with his super human eyesight"
Hear me out here....
*Hawkeye Usopp*
Uhh did you repeat yourselve when you did the useless fact bit?
EDIT: why yu fools like dis comment so much?
It was for emphasis
*EMPHASIS*
I had to rewind the clip because I thought I had a stroke lmao
Brian Jones SAME I THOUGHT I WAS TRIPPING
This bro faced Luffy after seeing how much he could do. Truly God Usopp.
The enthusiasm of the video at the start is amazing no cap 😉
I’m in the ending of the Alabasta arc and Usopp is my favorite character
Usopp is hands down my favorite character in all of One Piece. To me he's the most relatable and realistic of the Straw Hats. Although he has his "hero moment" in almost every arc, it doesn't get any better than his speech from Chapter 87. That's what really made me fall in love with his character. The only thing I can think comes close is him confronting Trebol and Sugar.
He is the one that changed (for the best) in the crew... In the last movie "stampede" I was seriously impressed...
Keep it up.
Thank you very much for the positive feedback! I'm glad you're enjoying the channel! :D
Usopp doesn't lie, he just has the great Observation Haki that see into the future.
*UsOpP ThE WaLkInG SpOiLeR*
When I was younger and rather unknowing of One Piece I thought Usopp had died and became Brook I realized my mistake after I eventually started watching One Piece as if it was my religion
Top 5 Usopp snipes, please!
i second this!
After watching his fight with Luffy my respect for usopp is so high, he is undoubtedly one of my most favorite characters
4:56 That's theory is almost as ridiculous as claiming Lucy and Luffy are the same person.
I really want Usopp to have long flowing dreadlocks by the end of the story.
If he doesn't die 😏
Dont even talk about god dying
Usopp is definitely one of the more interesting characters in One Piece. He's also one of the more relatable characters. Also, are all of the strawhat pirates orphans?
Luffy, Sanji are known to have atleast one of their parents alive.
@@TheArshitauheed oh yeah, but non of them were really raised by their biological parents.
@@neutraljump Luffy was raised by his grandfather a bit and sanji grew up with his father and mother
@@minecraftmadlad3593 yeah, but I think you could consider Sanji at least orphaned, or worse.
@@neutraljump no at most he would just be disowned since his father never died
0:26 "God Ussop" Get It Right
My apologies >_>;
I really like Usopp, he's the most relatable character.
First!!! I love Usopp and Sniper King!!!!
Usopp the brave warrior of the sea 💪🏼
join the discord server!!
Sniper King is not Usopp.
elijmin I never said he was. I said I like both of them.
@Quinton Rogers King of all snipers.
Just for you guys to know, at one point, Sogeking's theme was my ringtone.
A firm believer of the Go D Ussop. Nice
Imagine Usopp , with sea prism stones and coated haki in his bag.
so powerful
Usopp wasn't lying he was predicting the future
Remember that time usopp got cracked on the skull with a 4 TON BAT AND STILL WAS CONSCIOUS and took out Mr. 4 shortly after
You forgot to say "amen"
When Usopp was immune to the hollow hollow fruit cuz of his negativity and depression, I felt that
One of my most memorable One Piece moments is watching Ussop trying to steal Jabura's key in enies lobby for the first time! *That chicken* LOL
Of that damn chicken did go there. With out that stupid chicken, Usopp would've gotten the key.
aw man i loved that moment in enies lobby along being handcuffed to zoro(and being used as a sword.)and tiny gear 3rd luffy punching rob lucci in the nose giving rob lucci a hilarious "you little shit" reaction(kinda wish luffy still had that setback to gear 3rd as it would've been funny to see boa hancocks reaction to it.:3)
Im calling it.... Usopp will have "Brave Warrior of the sea" as a title along with God
Usopp is not trying to be a brave warrior of the sea. He Effing is. The fact that he overcomes his significant cowardice and stays with the straw hats through thick and thin makes him an excellently brave warrior of the sea.
I love how you quote they're vital speech that display they're complete loyalty to luffy
You misspelled God in the the title
Go *D* io Usopp
Favorite one piece character this man helped me thru a fuck ton of shit and shows you must stand up to the opps no matter what
Secret fact: Ussop is a close friend of sniper king.
Oh Boy I have been waiting for this for so long!!!
I am a lil upset there was nothing about giants since they were a huge influence on usopp giving him a clearer path to his dream
After seeing some of these, I'll definately be looking forward to your 101 video on Robin and a DF Encyclopedia video on the Hana Hana no mi! 👍
I have a theory about One Piece and it basically means that God Usopp is legit. If any of us ever met Usopp, he would murder us with ease. Yes. Even pre-timeskip.
Basically my theory (probably a common one) is that humans from the OP world are.. well.. OP. lol
I don't think it's unique to the Monster Trio, Royalty and special bloodlines.
Haha)
I like your background music, I like it when you had it slightly louder
pinocchio x boy who cried wolf x pirates... what a combo
Do you think usopps name is a mix between uso( lying) and aesop? A Greek fabulist?
Usopp during the Dressrosa Arc was such a return to form it was too hilarious.
" Managing to defeat Koro, Jango and the other weirdos." 😂
Usopp is one of my favorite chatacters in One Piece. Hes funny af!!!
(The weather vane part is important)
Should usopp fail, the man who dared him would shoot usopp dead, as during the time, usopp threatened the man’s daughter, who bought the goggles that usopp wanted as a gift for her father.
He should name a island as sniper island after their journey end as he has already become of soge king
Oh the wind carries my name
From sniper island far away
I want to see his father reacting to his bounty 😊
That would be amazing
Once Usopp was bitten by a poisonous creature.
After the 7 days of agonizing pain the creature die.
YYEEEESSSSS LORD USOPPIN!!!!!
Theory Usopp is such a good sniper because of his nose. He uses it to help line up his targets.
Usopp got his own video. But how will the other discord yonko feel?
6:36 that face tho 😂
Did you know that even though we act like sniper king is not ussop ussop made sniper king because he needed more conference
Who in the blazes is Heracles? Why is he just chilling on an island that tries to eat you?
happy birthday god usopp!!!the luigi of one piece(if you added a mustache he would look like a one piece equivalent to luigi.kinda makes me wish in super grand battle x they had usopp be luigi instead of yoshi.the two are pretty similar being scaredy cats that also embody the true nature of bravery doing something even when your scared and both luigi and usopp embody that with how they go through dangerous situations just to protect their friends/brother in luigi's case.:3) and its pretty cool that usopp is one of the few strawhats to have confirmed love interest waiting for him in a classical sea goer way(and the fact that all of his stories are in some way coming true.:3)
The best thing I love about Usopp is his Sogeking Intro
