Dyson Corrale vs ghd Platinum+ hair straighteners - Which?

How does the Dyson Corrale straightener stack up against the ghd Platinum+? We got five volunteers with hair types ranging from straight to afro to try them out. Despite the Dyson's extra features (including 30 minutes cordless battery power) and its hefty £400 price tag, the ghds came out on top overall, proving they're still the market leaders in hair straightening technology.

Excellent review! Thank you. I had the GHD for several years and loved it but it greatly damaged my hair. It was lost in the move. So now I’m lost on what to repurchase! Thought Dyson could possibly be less damaging. Hmmmm🤔 Arghh 😩😩😩

All straighteners will cause heat damage. If you don't need a completely ironed straighten the Airwrap is a much better value option for styling and drying, and doesn't go above 150

I wish I had watched this before buying the Dyson, it’s heavy and leaves my hair static, it doesn’t stay straight. It’s not shiny. GHD is way better and I’ve just purchased an upgrade because I’ve had my others for over 10 years which reminds me a pair of my Dyson straighteners broke and I had to get replacement warranty
