Thank you for doing these videos! I inherited my great grandmas singer touch and sew 700! So these were very helpful at getting me going! I do have a question. So after winding the bobbin, having the continuous thread and start sewing, I sew and then have to cut the thread to move on to a new piece, do I have to re thread/ wind the bobbin to that continuous thread before I can start sewing. I haven’t but then I’ve run into the thread clumping up underneath the metal plate. Ahhh HELP. Haha.
I recommend trying to hold onto the two ends of the thread as you start sewing. This helps prevent the thread from bunching up underneath the fabric. You can let them go after a couple stitches.
