    Sir,
15 years I have been interested about Discus(I have 10 big discus in 120gallons water) for the whole time I haven't heard anyone else so clearly and convincingly and with "no secret" explained how to take care Discus. You do a good job. Great respect!

Great video!!!!! I would recommend storing water in glass, not plastic, because most plastics leech hormone-like chemicals that have estrogen-like activity, even plastics that are deemed food safe and BPA-free. Use a spare aquarium or source some huge 14 gallon glass demijohns from the home brewing trade to store water (spare tank is cheaper than many demijohns, though). If you want to store water in plastic anyway, fill the containers and allow heated water to sit for at least a month, then discard that initial water, refill and use that 2nd if not 3rd batch for your tank(s). Great video and beautiful fish!!! I simply double dose Seachem Prime during water changes because my tap water has a stable pH.

Hi Dave, do you have any idea how to prevent split fin from occurring ? I highly doubt fin rot because the fish has a minor split initially and goes on to split further and the edges starts to fray. I have people telling me it's due to chlorine, some says due to poor water condition and overcrowding. Thank you
