5 Minute Hand Exercises with a Ball for Both Hands: 5 Minute Movement Series Week 2

  • Workout both of your hands with week 2 of my 5 Minute Follow Along Movement Series! In this video, I share 5 Hand Exercises using a ball. These exercises will work on increasing finger range of motion, decreasing hand stiffness, improving grip strength, and enhancing your finger dexerity.
    Every Friday I'll be uploading a variety of quick finger, wrist, and arm exercises you can do just about anywhere with little to no equipment. Make sure you subscribe so you can follow along each week!

    00:44 Tendon Glides on both hands
    02:37 Ball Manipulations on right hand
    04:11 Ball Manipulations on right hand
    05:19 Isometric Ball Grips on right hand

    In this 5 Minute Movement series, we'll be doing 5 exercises, some are done on both hands at the same time while others are better done seperately. Each exercise is only 1 minute with a total workout of 5 minutes. That's a quick way to care for your overworked hands!
    Most of all don't forget to breathe (we have a tendency to hold our breath when doing hand exercises), but more importantly be proud of yourself for caring for the 'tools' you were given to create, work, and play!

    Hello mam my hand,fingers,wrist are so week.my fingers are going down but can't move up give me some exercises for me.

    Hi, It's Saturday morning here in Sri Lanka, and good to see a video to brighten up the day. What type of ball are you using for this exercise , is it hard, soft or like jelly? Is it OK to use a hard ball for this because at the moment I have only one finger giving me problems?

      It is a firm or harder ball. You don't want to use one too soft or like jelly.

    My pinky ring finger on both hands are starting to stick when they're bent and then I have to pull them straight, I'm quite concerned and don't know what's happening. My grandmother's same fingers on each hand were benk permanently and she said it was a type of arthritis the only way could straighten them was to have them this was several decades ago, maybe they have treatments for that certain type of arthritis she had
