I broke my wrist and had my cast removed 2 months ago. I went back to the doctor because of stiffness and pain. After some X-rays, they said it all looked good and to just give it time. No mention of therapy😩. This video has been extremely helpful for my recovery!! My wrist literally felt 5 times better after the first session! Thanks for the help!!!

Ive had a sprained wrist injury for 3 months. I’m 65 and during a soccer game with my 7 year old grandson I tripped and put all my weight onto my wrist. Ive been in agony at times, But after discovering your fantastic exercise following trigger finger surgery I checked out your wrist exercises. 3 days of those and my pain has gone. Your videos are doing an amazing service. I’m in the UK and most healthcare establishments hand you a printed sheet but your structured and gradual exercises are a real game changer.

I'm 9 days out of surgery for a plate in my broken wrist. The hospital (UK) took my cast off yesterday and gave me a support sleeve and a page of exercises. I tried to do the exercises today, but can't manage any of them because they all involve stretching the fingers, which is too painful. I came across this channel, and the exercises on here are so much more helpful. It helps to have someone explaining how to do them properly as you go along. Thank you so much.

I so enjoy all of her exercises they have been a great help. I have had my wrist cast off for 10 days now.I am working on all of the exercises overcoming pain. But this morning I happen to think about my hot curlers to do my hair. I'm slowly working with my curling iron as my thumb is my finger that needs the most prayer. So I plugged in my hot curlers and was able to do them fairly well. And when I picked one of them up I thought this would be great to hold and grip helping me with getting my fist back into a complete tight fist. It is amazing. I hold one until it cools down and then I go get another one and I hold it until it cools down. I can do my fist so much better after holding a hot curler. I have to let him cool down a little bit as they're way too hot when I first pick them up but this was a GREAT answer to prayer and I certainly wanted to pass it on.
God Bless everyone who is working through a fractured wrist. Susan

I am so thankful you founded Virtual Hand Care and that I found this channel following my wrist fracture in October 2022! These have helped me so much! I knew I had to start doing these exercises again - and they continue to be very helpful!

This is really good! I could feel a difference in a very short period of time.. my tendons stopped clicking, and I could feel the blood flow. I was an interpreter for the deaf and started to get carpet tunnel, and a nurse told me to do the traction on my fingers, and my pain and discomfort went away. She called it decompression. Wow, what an Angel to share these gifts with others

I had my stitches out two days ago and the cast came off 10 days ago but I was offered no therapy so my wrist felt really stiff although I could move my fingers and make a full fist. Your exercises for regaining flexibility are amazing. I’ve only started but I already feel better and hope to regain full mobility and strength in a couple of weeks time to be able to drive.

I just had my cast off today but I am no stranger to rehabilitation after injury, and I know from experience that starting early improves and speeds results overall. (Within reason, not looking to run a marathon on day one.) Just a few of your videos have been super beneficial. I had a fairly short cast with good finger motion, but the wrist is stiff as a board and being able to massage and incrementally stretch the wrist has been very helpful, I can see the results already. Heat and massage, never would have thought of their benefit yesterday when the cast was still on but they've made all the difference today. Thanks so much. The muscles and tendons in the back of my hand can't thank you enough.

These are so helpful! I started therapy out of state as we were gone for an extended time when I broke my wrist. In the transition to coming home, I am unable to get back to therapy right away. These exercises are great! Thank you!

Excellent! I could do these without the pain I have at OT using the net press and hand presses which put too much pressure on the top of my hand and kept me from loosening up the wrist properly due to discomfort. Love the traction pull prior to the last press. Love the active rather than passive stretches. Loved the tip on not flexing and extending in the same series before measurements. Trying to get "catch" back (swimming). Warm up exercise perfect for wake up with swelling mornings. Thank you! (DRF volar plate, 71, master's swimmer/ballet dancer).

The isolated wrist flexion really help me a lot. Because it was hard to flex those wrist inward, don't know how to do it. So by placing the arm like you did in the video, it really worked! Thank you so much for explaining it so thoughtful~

These are very helpful and I have added this video to my playlist. My radius bone was cracked rather than broken, so no surgery was needed. But I still required a cast. I just had it removed yesterday, and was given a soft small brace which is really more of a reminder than an actual support so that I won't lift anything heavy using my right hand or at least another two weeks. Then I will start PT.
But I felt a stiffness was not comfortable . These gentle stretches have been very helpful with removing the stiffness. I am using them along with another series of exercises for the fingers called the six pack. Thank you for this demo!

With a standard distal fracture, these exercises have helped me increase my ROM extensively. The traction exercise especially helps me. It really helps my wrist feel so good. And with the odd metacarpal popping it just seems to help keep things lined up. Regardless of the expert terms, it feels so awesome to begin to get some range back. Thank you so much for the excellent video.
