With Newey gone, car losing its dominance slowly but surely, Honda clocking out and the change of regulations, Max will almost undoubtedly change teams and it’s probably gonna be Mercedes. I do hope he brings GP with him to merc tho

Newey has co-build a upper midfield car. And was not even very actively involved the last period . When this driver joins Merc, Ferrari, Mclaren they would be WC the next year
Honestly in this day and age Newey isn't contributing as massively as people said even C H said so I mean there are 2000 people working at factory and they are one of the best engineer in the world and it's all done in computer

1: Mercedes proved before that they can build a super engine -out of nothing-.
2: RedBull powertrains didnt prove anything yet.
3. Max his dad will push Max 100% when the RB disappoints in 2026.
4. The trouble caused by horner is not helping
5. Max wants a competitive car and only talks about 2025 and RB because he is part of the development, doesnt want to confirm he stays after 2025
toto better offer 1 billion $ over 10 years if he wants to get Max

You would have to be blind if you think Russell is gonna be around in Mercedes come the 2026 season. 2025 will be Russell's last year at Mercedes. Wolff really screwed up, and he screwed up bad. Getting smoked by your customer team with not only one good driver, but two really high caliber drivers. Piastri is putting it down with Norris and its getting embarrassing for Wolff right now. He didn't make a move for ANY high caliber drivers for 3 seasons because the car has been so bad. Treated Hamilton like crap for 3 years. Treated Bottas like crap. Didn't even try to get Sainz. Not committed to putting Schumacher in a seat. Let Piastri pass him by. How many years does it take to realize that Russell is not all he was cracked up to be? For 3 years when Hamilton couldn't haul the mail, Bottas stepped up and brought home the wins. How many times did we see a Mercedes 1, 2? Ever since Russell came the car has gone from bad to worse.
