- In recent F1 news, there is an apparent leaked email by an apparent mercedes team member that is doing the rounds on social media, with it alluding to the belief that Lewis Hamilton is being sabotaged by his team. The email was apparently sent to key personnel with F1, including the journalists, and that Toto Wolff is a key factor in this.

George used Lewis data, which is why he was able to reach pole. Lewis was the fastest in Practice 3 in Canada, and no other driver came close. When it came to qualifying, Mercedes turned down Lewis' car. This is what Jacques Villeneuve asked Toto Wolffman about. If Mercedes is sabotaging Lewis, how can he compete with George? Lewis engineer stated that soft and hard tyres were available on Sky TV. Lewis preferred soft tyres, but the engineer demanded Lewis use the slower hard tyres. Mercedes did this so Lewis would not compete with George. Lewis was 22 years old when he was a rookie, and he also won the Formula Two title.
It wouldn’t be the first time - the Germans even gave Rosberg Hamilton’s crew at one point to help him get 1 world championship (and then retire because he couldn’t hack the pressure). Having said that Hamilton has quit, he can’t and whouldn’t expect any favours from Merc but tampering with his tyres is a whole other level.

Mercedes didn’t give him an ambassador role for when he eventually retired as I suppose they were counting on him still being tied to them after his run in F1. Lewis however took matters into his own hand and pulled the greatest chess move by going to Ferrari. That wasn’t the plan Toto & co had in mind and they are clearly pissed. Email probably came from Pirelli, my thing is, Pirelli has the data. They know how much tyres Lewis had in Free practise, what he used, what was still left, the temp of his tyres and what is going on with tyre calls, and it can make them look bad as well as Lewis.

This prompted the now famous quote from Hamilton " Somebody doesn't want me to win the WDC...." . You betcha! They wanted Nico to win - that was why Nico retired, he knew that assistance could never happen again! Why does an F1 driver retire at the height of his career only to languish at home driving F1 simulators on his TH-cam channel for the benefit of fans.

They sabotaged him in 2016 with those reliability issues and failures too even though Mercedes was one of the top reliable teams during that time and then you got Masi 2021 bending the rules and scripting shit like this WWE by only letting the lap cars between LH and Max when all lapped cars should’ve unlapped themselves and the race would’ve ended with a safety car, it might’ve been boring but at least it would’ve been fair if he followed the rule book otherwise why have a rule book in the first place. It has seemed very suss that Lewis can go from top 3 multiple weekends this season during practice to absolutely nowhere as soon as quali starts. I do like that the article is encouraging people to keep asking questions although it would've been nice to know in a specific area or to look at though, but to know there is data that can be exposed is interesting. If this is true, it'd be great that the information comes out before the year's end.

Whatever Allison says, the tyre temp data is recorded. So that's a lie. Then there's the strategy issues. Those aren't Hamiltons fault, but the Team's. Then there's communication issues or lack of. It all adds up. Now, if you just look at Quali results alone, of course Russell looks better. However, what about all the testing that Hamilton did in '22 and the first part of '24? George did none!
It's a weird situation to say I quit ... next year. It doesn't make sense that mercedes would intentionally want to do poorly things that could make sense is keeping secrets from Louis. Information about development that could be brought with him to Ferrari.
Maybe that could carry over to changes in his car that he would feel and then know and then be able to share. So in that sense, maybe they would want to keep things from him. But I don't see any direct benefit to him performing poorly. It would reflect too much on the performance of mercedes. How did he get cold tires? Maybe it was a genuine mistake. Because the team is in some termoill and maybe losing key people and someone slipped up. This whole thing just seems weird to be intentional.
If you was toto which driver would you want to win? it looks like George has been made the number one driver, so how can they make it happen if Lewis car is just as good as George's, George is a decent driver but he ain't as good as hamilton especially when under pressure. Knew it i mean Lewis was on fire during Canadian GP practice and team even said that they used Lewis's data to set up George's car. Fast forward to Quali the guy who's data was used can't drive the car and George is on pole I mean you don't need to be Einstein to understand that they changed things on Lewis's car. Lewis was in contention for a podium finish and they put hard tyres on because soft won't last 15 laps according to Team Mercedes. Bottas sabotage when? Toto was Bottas manager and it was in Lewis contract no sharing data and car setups. Well 2019 Bottas was given Lewis engineer of 6 years to help Bottas compete with Lewis during qualifying and race. The engineer fed all Lewis data and car setups to Bottas and the same engineer has been feeding George all Lewis data and car setups instead of him learning how to do his own work and he was given some of Lewis mechanics. Lewis has always shared everything with his teammates instead of them learning how to do their own work it's his work they are fed.
Lewis is the only champion, who has to share his work whether he wants to or not. Lewis side of the garage are always taken from him and given to his teammates. Other champion like Michael, Alonso, Seb, and Max don't share their data and car setups or their side of the garage to their teammates.

They also gave him a death trap car in 2022 that nearly damaged his health, didn't fight for 2021 in court, and Toto lied to him in 2023 forced him to sign a contract. Once signed told him they won't have a car for next season, with plans to boot him out of F1 after 2025. Lewis was not meant to sign for Ferrari, he was meant to retire. Toto soured the relationship. Notice how the Mercs is finding form now Toto wants to entice Max.
