Being I am autistic and stay part of the larger autistic community, rainman isn't really an accurate description of us. For those of you who will undoubtedly say "but autism is a spectrum", the term spectrum doesn't mean what you think it does. The spectrum isn't linear, as in more of less autistic. A person either is or isn't autistic, this is how you are born. The spectrum describes how, like all humans, we can appear different from one another. The link below goes into some more detail. The main quantities that describe autistic people as being autistic is the manner of which we communicate, thus express and understand information, and the way we perceive information (our senses). How those aspects are different from non autistic people (allistics) can be detailed and slightly complex to non autistic standards. the-art-of-autism.com/understanding-the-spectrum-a-comic-strip-explanation/

Elder scrolls lore. The only lore where canon or not does not matter and its lore and story to this day are still expanding and analyzed by the active community, not by the writer. Hell, even one of the highly regarded writers of the lore isn't even part of the tes dev team anymore. Its pretty much an open source literature at this point. Which is what makes it awesome.
In the first 35 seconds he described me perfectly 0:10
I’ve actually been binge playing Oblivion recently and in a few days I’m nearly done with all the quest lines except the main and shivering isles.
I wanna make a Paper Mario style video for this.
It's too bad Paper Mario sucks now :( TTYD and the original are like top 5 games but all the new ones are trash.
I already knew a shit ton about TES but after watching this a refresher, I found out some stuff I either didn’t know or forgot! Thx! (I’m not a dummy tho)
Shit Scott! I'm a 56 year old Skyrim newbie having a bucket load of fun. Your videos are massively useful to me in understanding WTF is going on. So thanks. But man... I hope your applying that adept young brain to real world stuff too. You'd be well on your way to a PHD thesis if your knowledge of anything that's ever happened on planet earth was half as extensive. Yeah, but very useful for a newb nonetheless. Thanks mate.
I just need a refresher 😭
Love you fudgemuppet and thank you hope you are all well and im still loving fallout and elder scrolls too :0)
Haha I can still see some people just going, "whaaat??"
Pretty much this. I could feel my brain experiencing a runtime error about the time He started on with the Magna-Ge, and I've been playing Elder Scrolls religiously since Oblivion.
Yeah, the Elven part might confuse people who have problems with systemic thinking in particular. They might just get lost lol.
And I am that "some people"
Same..
Me rn. I've been trying to get into the lore for like a year and I still don't get it
Honestly I must admit I thought the aldmer where the ayleids
And I thought "Aldmer" was just a different spelling for "Altmer".
I started playing skyrim because of assassins creed 3. I searched up games like assassins creed 3 and started playing it in 2018

@@Super50ldier would be nice seeing Dwemers making a comeback in The Elder Scrolls VI.
@@radical105 Yeah, I wonder what happened to them?
Thanks!! I was so confused playing this game, 45 lvls in and there were still so many things I didn't understand..
I like your funny words magic man
the captions are incredible
Thanks for making this video, couldn't have asked for a better guide!
I like how your picture of the Bosmer is shirtless. Very nice.
OH MY GOD IM SO PROUD OF YOU GUYS!!! you came up with a new vid idea all on youre own instead of rehashing and speculating about tes6
Just say you don't like their content and unsubscribe, there's no need to be a passive aggressive bitch about it.
This game makes me so happy, on my 4th playthrough I get off my 8 hour shift get right on my pc and play until i go to bed every day
Being I am autistic and stay part of the larger autistic community, rainman isn't really an accurate description of us.

Most of my family still call it the "Skyrim Universe". Long story short, I may be an orphan soon.
So cool and edgy wow

@@CyberController- Lol.
@ShadowOfDeath🥀 Looks like you've been reading a little too much Camoran for your own good, friend.
This may be an old vid, but since I'm a MASSIVE fan of skyrim I wanted to understand the lore of the whole of the elder scrolls
More of this video style please
What a fun video! Thanks Scott!
My friend suggested Skyrim as I asked her some games I might like and now I’m addicted but I know nothing about the lore. So this is very helpful. Thank you. :3 💙
I am sucker for RPG games, played GOW(PS4), witcher 3, Dragon Dogma, Cyberpunk 2077, Ghost of Tusuhima, Horizon zero dawn and many others multiple time, but never in my life touched Skyrim and I feel blessed because I will get experience this masterpiece first time which many people crave for.
Im actually somwhat new to this channel as I subbed to it a week ago, but I actually got into the roleplay aspect of skyrim from playing D&D with my family and it lead me to this channel.
Im currently roleplaying as a Khajiit named Dar'Tafiir who is actually named similiarly after a character who I made in ES4 Oblivion as a master thief (without much roleplay involved I just liked stealing stuff) and Dar'Tafiir is her predecessor who came from the cyrodilian Thieves Guild in cyrodil to live a life of crime in the war ridden skyrim seeing great oppurtunity in a war torn land. Also he loves gemstones and shiny things so I have a safe filled with like 100 different gems and jewlery to sell but dont have the perks to invest money yet.
As a TES fan, this is an awesome video. I still wont show it to a newcomer tho, not dumbed down enough unfortunately.
I thought I was deep in the lore then I had no clue of the beginning of time
Me, that played the game but didn't care about lore:
Ahhh, i get it! That's why! Now that makes sense Bethesda!
Would you guys consider doing a video series entirely about the Greg Keyes novels? I just finished reading myself and I want to share their lore with everyone
"Martin Sean Bean Septim" 😂
Was hoping to hear more about the Redguards.
May fudgemuppet elder scrolls lore videos continue far beyond the 5th era!! 🙏😻
I am a huge follower of the lore myself and like to watch these kinds of videos. But honestly I feel like it was a bit to fast, I can see how this might make someone even more confused. What would be great is like a picture type animation like you did when showing the races and talk over that. When you talk over paused gameplay while panning the camera, it feels a bit confusing. But overall great video as always.
My friend got Skyrim for Christmas..... Gonna send that link right nooow!
Still won't be easy enough for him though....
My friend literally linked this video to me to watch because they’re trying to get me to play and now I’m excited!!!
play morrowind its excellant
okay so since I'm early. Im going to comment without even getting past the intro
Thanks
Very nice! Just bought the game today, gonna try it out at last.
fine im convinced. another playthrough wont hurt.
had to switch the playback speed to .75 because my man was talking wayyyyyy too fast
2:55 minutes in “and acooda” Brain: AND AKOODA MUTADAAAAA.. fuck what was he sayin?
Stuff keeps happening for a long while

Whole impression of Lorkhan upon me changed after I learned he acquired anti-chim like dagoth-ur. Both paid the price with their lives.
I saw that clip of a knight fighting a viking and i was sold. Bc i play witcher game they told me its kina like that
The video is good if you pause 100 times. It's too fast to understand.
Very good, much obliged, Sir. Even though I've been playing Elder Scrolls since daggerfall, some things have yet not seemed to fall into place...
Great❤
Massive props to Scott for the amount of jokes he managed to sprinkle throughout the video. I was grinning like an idiot the entire time.
I didn't know the Bosmer were cannibalistic. Like I get that they love nature and don't harm it but god damn.
Not only that. They MUST eat all meat they kill. So if Bosmer kills someone, he MUST eat the whole corpse to it not go to waste. They can't even use wooden tools etc.
