Thank you for another valuable video, Chris! I went for an interview at my local Nissan dealership in the UK over the weekend, having no previous sales experience. Two hours later, they called me back to offer me the job! To get the interview, I created a LinkedIn profile and connected with Sales Managers in my area, sending them a message expressing a keen interest in getting into the industry, and asking if they had any advice. Hope that helps somebody out there looking to get a foot in the door, as it worked for me!
I watched your video about the interview, it was immensely valuable. Did all my research so i knew who was interviewing me. Asked the right questions, and i was told he never had someone ask him those questions in 15 years. Along qith my own mannerisms and charisma obviously was essential, but your tips really was the icing on top and gave me a MASSIVE edge. Thank you so much. I find out on monday
Hey Chris, thanks for this incredibly helpful video. I am a 20 year old car geek wanting work experience at a car dealership, doesn’t have to necessarily be in a sales role but anything in customer service or a role that involves helping customers with their new cars and setting up settings/features. I was just made redundant from my previous position in a sales role itself in another sector but have a lot of experience running restaurants, engineering and sales. I’ve applied 1000’s places and many of them have been submitted to dealers as my biggest passion is for cars. What’s the main nut to crack in your opinion?
@@carsunlocked hundreds of them, various roles from sales to customer service and service departments. Every one I’ve come across I’ve straight away applied for.
Hi! Thank you so much for your video, it’s incredibly helpful! I’m 18 years old and currently in my final year of high school in Italy. I’m planning to apply in person to dealerships in my area and hope they’ll consider me despite still being a student. I understand that this might be a factor, but I'll give it a shot. I don't have any previous experiences, but I'm coachable! and do you think applying while still being a student could be a problem? I’m concerned it might affect the hours I can work and other factors
Hey man I'm in the midst of becoming a salesman, great videos! thanks alot. Quick question, when I tried to certify myself online it says my omvic application has to be sponsored by a dealership. So in that case how am I able to have that omvic before approaching the dealership??
I got 2 interviews, this week and in the weekend, Tomorrow at Car Max and Saturday at Honda Frederick and im very excited. I am frankly really nearvous due to my intermediate English, will it be hard in my case to get the job?
Hello Christopher, I would like to thank for all the content and highly relevant information you're sharing here. As a beginner salesperson (at Nissan too hehe) I feel like I'm gaining years of experience through you. I have a question : How did you become a finance manager at your dealership ? As it is something that interests me. Thank you friend 😁
Hey mate thanks for for watching! congrats on your job! Currently I do both roles sales and finance manager. I basically do my own turn overs. Its a long story how I came into this role. Perhaps I can do a whole video regarding it?

Did you look online to see which ones are hiring

Would a speeding ticket hinder the likelihood of being hired bc of the non clean driving record
no you should just have a clean criminal record

yes it seems like they changed it in which you need to get hired at a dealership to get fully certified
