Hello Chris, thanks for the video. One thought is instead of asking them to get a pen to write down a confirmation code simply tell them you will text it to them.
I liked the video , This is a great tool in setting up the appointment and I will add it to my tool belt that I have for setting appointments, and its a true savings for the customer and everyone likes to save money, The thing is nothing works 100% of the time , I have been a Product Specialist With Nissan for 8 years and I average 20 vehicles a month . I have practiced the Confirmation code over and over then role played with my team till it is smooth and very professional and I am setting appointments , It may be old school but you know what it works, Thank You
Thanks for the videos. Fresh in sales here learning all I can. One question I’m hoping to get your opinion on. How do you get them to show? I get them to set an appt with me but more only like 5% actually show.
great question one that I actually get a lot so I plan to do a full video on acing a job interview at a car dealership. Stay tuned. Start with the basics, clean cut, firm handshake, smile, punctual, and out going... ask many questions about being successful in the role, if they have any reservations about hiring you, follow up a day or two later.
How do you deal with multiple customers showing up at the same time if it does happen? Do you just end up having to pass one off to another salesman or are you able to juggle two customers at once?
Service customers are probably the least scary. Call to confirm their service appointment, let them know you need their trade, and you'd like to make them an offer to buy their vehicle.
Hey man I am in high school and I am considering becoming a car salesman, but my dad talks about how they always lie to people. Do you think they lie to people about cars to get them sold?
Yes unfortunately the car sales person reputation is very tarnished. Especially due to the older generations. My family felt the same way. There %100 are dishonest car salesman in this world, there are also honest ones. . All depends on what kind of person you want to be. You do not need to lie or be dishonest to sell a car. There are dishonest people in every industry, every sector and every occupation. Its all up to you
@@carsunlocked There is as much, and even more dishonesty now, than ever. The customer's job is to find an honest dealership and continue to do business when they find that dealer.
typically I would ask one to wait I have gotten pretty good at juggling them over time. You cant start the process with one send them out on a test drive and then start the process with the other apt its not ideal but gets it done. Worse comes to worse one of your managers should be able to assist you
There is always somebody to call. How many telemarketers call everyday? Do what they do. People love salesmen calling at every hour of the day trying to look after their own best interest. BLOCK
Anothet thing, dont try to sell someone something they dont need, like they want a hatchback but you try to sell them a pathfinder, thats how to lose sales
