Worms work a treat in the marby, the bream love the worms
Kfc minced and mixed with bread makes excellent berley.
I've use chicken before to some success but whilst living in tropical areas I ran over a snake on the way to a mangrove estuary. I cut that up for bait out of curiosity and the fish went berserk on it. Not an easy bait to get though, legally.

U should try next time chicken garlic Paste Parmesan cheese put in the fridge try it the next day awesome bait for bream

Someone literally gave me this same advice yesterday on the water. Even as far as going back in the fridge after the Parmesan. I’ve been doing well with mullet strips as the skin holds to the hook so well. I’m gonna give this a crack though.

I had a test i did and i ended up using long shank hooks for fishing those small hooks for bream gets swallowed too easy i am yet to have a fish get gut hooked with the small long shank hooks is going on 2 years now best change i made!!!

I live next to the Maribyrnong worms r a good bait for the Maribyrnong but you rarely catch anything in that river and if u catch something I wouldn’t recommend eating it since it’s contaminated water but either way nice video

Just started bream fishing only used prawn so far and caught little ones
Hey buddy good videos I been using chicken marinated in garlic for a few days I find that works good for me I got told that by to elderly guys and I have used it with good results

Try mixing the chicken (i use thigh fillets) with minced garlic (from a jar) and Parmesan believe it or not they go crazy for it
Does ot work all the fish or just for bream , i heard the same thing before
@@user-qf6dx4to2i I actually had some old frozen honey soy chicken in freezer I used as bait I caught 10 decent bream and 5 flatheads. The scent really attracts them.

Can’t go wrong with 1/0 hooks for both species! Can go smaller for the yakkas

fish are scavengers and will have a go at anything , but I use chicken whether its fresh or not ,giblets heart ,kidney liver plus fish ncrustations ,peas n corn ,I've never tried gum or confectionary they're things I'd eat to keep up the sugar levels lol

Complete angler sell those rod holders. They're about $15 each.

How do you keep the tension on your line without sinkers? My bait always floats back towards my rod when there is no current actively pushing it away from me
