I'm A Disc Golf Manufacturer! | The PDGA Approved my PrintPractical Extruder! | 3D Printed Disc Golf

I can't even tell you how much work went into making this thing. Countless hours of designing, printing, testing, and tweaking... it's been a wild ride. But guess what? It's PDGA APPROVED!
In this video, I play a 9 hole local course and talk about the disc throughout the way. You'll see me put the disc to the test, both with my own throws and by handing it over to a more experienced player.

Unfortunately the PDGA just changed their policy so now it cost $500 to get a disc approved. I still may work on some new molds, but PDGA approval probably won’t be something I do again unless there’s a ton of interest.

@@PrintPractical I’d definitely watch more videos relating to the production of the disc or throwing the same mold with slight alterations (like how you said you used less density in the middle after testing). A think people would be interested to learn about the unique manufacturing process without divulging your secrets ;)

Sorry, I am not releasing the model file. The TPU I use has a hardness of 95A.
