Thank you vikas bhai. Informative video. I recently had low engine oil level issue on my Yamaha FZ v1.0 which has run over 35000 kms. One of the serious issue I had was tappet and valve clearance setting. It had caused my engine to get heated up like crazy. This ultimately ruined my engine oil levels creating sludge deposition. Changed the valves, cam heads.Generally the tappet and valve clearance settings have to checked every 12000 kms and most of the Yamaha ASC don't check this properly. Also learnt how a personal mechanic can do better job than an ASC. This has caused such a serious issue. Just wanted to share my personal experience. It would be great if you can make a technical video about tappet and valve clearance. It would be helpful for many of the bikers.

N my sensor which warn abt the oil pressure was also nt working. I claim to ktm service for warranty as my bike was under warranty bt they refused saying we can't trust you. You have given the bike to local mechanic. I just changed all required parts of engine by my own it cost me around 10k. Poor after sales service ktm

Life of the piston ring mostly depends on at which rpm the engine has been used throughout it's life. A engine always used past 7000 rpm will end up having worn rings than a engine did 4000 rpm for a given, say 50,000 kms.

Sir i have a rc 390 and it have started some problems like i have changed my engine oil yesterday and done 30-40km and now if I see from the glass window there is no oil only and no leeks from any where and my bike heats up very fast and radiator starts very soon and end up stopping after 5-8 minutes

very informative Vikas, But i have a different problem, My Charging Coil Wire Plug which is connected to Engine, That Rubber plug is bit damaged and i keep seeing Oil Leakage from it. Is it Serious i should be concern about, Its generally that oil that is sprayed on Coil to keep it cool. But its a same engine.
If engine rpm is 1500 means oil pressure should be above 2kg/cm sq, if 10000 RPM means above 6 kg/ cm sq ,if white smoke means in complete fuel combustion, chek the air filter, Spark plug, air fuel ratio air setting screw, and fuel quality, if Black smoke means fuel concentration is more than air ,,set air fuel ratio , oil leakeges to combustion chamber throw piston rings, supose engine oil level high means Black smoke comes , oil mixed petrol means Black smoke comes, thanks
Hey vikas. I have a 2012 ktm duke 200. It has done 40,000kms.I change oil every 5000kms.But off late, during one of my long rides, when i stopped to fuel i checked my engine oil level and there was barely any oil. Bike had done only 1000 kms after oil change. Same thing happened once again. The bike is drinking oil like anything. Do valve clearance issues also cause this problem? Btw i have installed an ixil hyperlow. Is that the culprit?

In bike which are subjected to high heat due to Revving ...the esters break down and oil becomes thinner... this then escapes through the rings and gets slowly burnt....and hence lower oil level...
I m NS 200 owner few days before when my bike completed 2 years .. i had to change my Crank shaft .. and the chutiya service center with careless work installed new Crank shaft in warranty .. but i believe that they didn't fit that properly .. i have ridden my bike around 2000kms after that .. nd now i m facing low engine level .. no leakage .. i want that they get great loss in their lives .. coz it is hectic and tough to go again and again to service centers for the bike checkup... At that time they just this is normal... This is normal.. and when my finally my bike give the result of damage.. they say ooohh ... They r so careless that .. that time my bike parts are messed up with another bike scarp parts .. some got broken .. nd then they say we r sorry.. and advice me that u can get them change in claim... They broke my parts and the poor owner of that showroom n service center give advice to me .. nd kinda tell me to ask for money from the mechanic .. n he is not responsible for anything.. i respect the NS200 but their service centers are literally fucked up ..

I have my motorcycle head port and polish and 6 mos later I have 2 change oil already and when i saw the oil on my 1st change oil decreased and i thought since i already have 3000km+ traveled on my 1st change oil it naturally decereased. 2nd change oil after riding with 600km i noticed a leak and im thinking if th ff reasons why there's a leak. 1. I put an air filter on my breather hose in my crank case? Does it change the oil pressure in the motorcycle? 2. Should i use a thicker viscosity because i have a higher compression engine? Stock engine recommends 10w-40 but since my engine is ported and polished should i use 20w-50?
Changed motul 7100 and I ran it for 2k kilometers... Now the engine oil is low... Vehicle is R15v3... Already I had piston issues, and it got changed new in a warranty. But whatever , even synthetic is emptying.. 😪 I'm absolutely clueless and helpless.. Cuz oil is not leaking anywhere.. But again the piston? I ll get fedup , cuz it is new one.. Changed in Jan 2019 nly.

What about the vaporization in fully synthetic oil?
There is always vaporization in engine oils.
The valve guides could also be worn..letting oil into chamber..whilst replacing rings its important to reseal valve or replace..

Ns200 bs7 user mannual says that about 200ml will be burned for 5k km, and we need to top up. They even make a top up 200ml bottle

There is no smoke from exhaust , small leak through clutch area but engine oil went very low lesser than minimum.Any suggestion?
